This company ripped me off, do not use them! They were very nice and fairly reasonable at the get go and the loading was good, efficient, and the men they had hired were very easy to work with. HOWEVER it was a different story on the other end. These men who unloaded my things, many valuables , were very rough, in a big hurry and broke many things, such as a leg off a table , a wheel off an office chair, scratches on several pieces of furniture. I could have chalked all this up to a move experience but when they broke the thermostat off the wall, causing there to be no heat or AC, and then have refused to compensate me the $309 dollars for a new one, price includes service call, I have to give them 1 star, only because they started out so nice. This happened end of last Sept. and I have given them many many opportunities to make this right and they just kept putting me off till this is my last resort. Don't be fooled by nice beginnings, things may not turn out so well! read more

A previous review i wrote seems to have been removed--I'll keep writing them, because I believe the prospective customer has a right to know both sides. While Paul and Ryan, plus all the staff, were sweet as can be, there were gaps in the chain of communication that resulted in many significant losses for my mother as she transitioned from her big house in Lincoln to her new small apartment in Santa Rosa. She knew she had to shed many things, but wanted to keep family heirlooms, watercolors she had painted, a precious stained glass window...many more that did not get packed and moved despite assurances that they would. My mom has had a really hard time accepting that these remnants of her old life are forever gone, sold to an estate sale from negligence on the part of the otherwise wonderful CR. read more

We have received our third invitation from CR Moving to post a comment on YELP. They would like us to rate the experience we had when they moved our household furniture and "effects". These were moved from El Dorado Hills to the CR Moving warehouse in Sacramento, where they were stored prior to crating and transferring to National Van Lines for shipment to Australia. This is an odd request from CR Moving as we have been very far from satisfied with this company and have sent several emails to Ryan Fitchner regarding our issues, all of which remain unanswered by Ryan. As CR Moving are aware of our dissatisfaction, why ask us for a rating as it's hardly likely to be a good one? Is this so that Paul Fitchner can write a similar diatribe as those he has previously posted, lambasting the clients who have dared to criticize CR Moving and justifying his company's inefficiencies? We are missing at least 3 boxes of kitchen and dining room items and the detachable legs from a table, rendering the tabletop useless without legs. Also missing are several decorative house plant pots which left our house loose (i.e. not packed in a box - why?) in the back of the truck. We had a lot of trouble identifying what is missing as the inventory and numbering of the boxes was so inaccurate with the contents of the boxes not matching the inventory. Some of the items did not even make it onto the inventory at all. This caused a great deal of confusion with the receiving shipping agent in Melbourne, who had difficulty in ratifying the inventory for their own records, for Australian Customs and with us. Our furniture and boxes were packed into a sealed wooden crate in Sacramento before being placed in the shipping container. The crate was received in Melbourne with the seals intact. Therefore, as the seals were unbroken, nothing could have gone missing between leaving the CR Moving warehouse and the receiving agent in Melbourne. The receiving agent, as is normal practice, videoed the unpacking of the crate by his staff so there is a complete record of all the items in the shipment received by them. We claimed compensation from the insurance for the missing items, However, the small amount of money we received from the insurance does not make up for the loss of items with sentimental value. So, our question to CR Moving is - if you packed all our goods that were stored in your warehouse into the sealed container, what happened to the missing boxes, table legs and plant pots between our house and being packed for shipping to Australia? Perhaps your warehouse is not as secure as you assured us it is. After our first 2 or 3 emails to CR Moving, an employee replied to say they had checked the warehouse and nothing of ours was still there. So where did those items go? They left our house, but did not make it into the crate. We've asked CR this question however they have chosen to ignore it. Let us remind CR Moving that CR stands for Compassionate Relocations - we certainly have not received any compassion, understanding or even an apology. We are disappointed that the owners of this company appear to lack basic leadership, taking no responsibility and refusing to be accountable. We are hardly novices at packing and moving house. We have made 9 international moves and 5 domestic moves and probably understand the international process better than CR Moving. May we ask Paul Fitchner that if he chooses to answer these comments with more justifications of his company's poor performance, that he also address those justifications to National Van Lines, John Ryan Removals in Melbourne and the Australian Customs. I recently moved from Roseville to Mt. View. I had made many phone calls to get quotes on what the cost would be; Ryan, from CR services, was the only moving company who came out to look at what I had to move. I was grateful, he took the time to give me an estimate. I had a budget and he stuck to it! I was pleasantly surprised on moving day, to see three men show up on time and ready to go. My things were going into a storage facility and I needed certain boxes left by the door, for easy access. I met them at the facility and was off loaded very quickly. I was able to go about my day and they were able to get back to Sacramento, without a hitch. I would recommend this company to everyone! CR Moving Services moved us on 2/3 from Lincoln to Roseville. Not a long distance but, for us, this was a major move. Downsizing from a large home to a smaller apartment required many decisions. Ryan was very helpful in directing us to a resource that took many of our unneeded belongings. Paul and his moving crew were polite, courteous and took time to discuss the move and to answer questions. Paul was also very responsive to a post move task we required. Additionally, the bookkeeper found a billing error which reduced the amount paid and we appreciate the integrity of the company. We will definitely contact CR for any future relocation needs. Initial consultation: estimate was professional, on time and accurate. No sales push, friendly, knowledgeable. Moving day team was on time, relatively efficient, pleasant. None of our things were broken or missing. The team leader spent time helping take-apart and re-assemble the dining room table which would not fit through the door to the dining room. We used CR Movers to transport our household furniture and boxes we had packed ourselves. The distance was less than 3 miles (from one part of Natomas to another). I should have gotten the hint when Paul came to give the estimate and started to complain about his Chinese wife that there was something not "right" about this company. He recommended that we use three men for this short haul job. Turned out that one of them just stayed in the truck most of the day on his phone and 'filling out paperwork'. They charged us for excessive rest periods that exceeded the 15 minutes allowed by law. The supervisor shorted the crew on their paid lunch break and the crew was upset and slowed the job down. I complained to the state agency that regulates this company (department of consumer affairs) on the poor job that they did. They did not pack the truck all the way and had to make a second trip for which we were charged. This was a small three bedroom townhouse...not too much to move! There was one piece that they claimed they could not move, a sofa. My wife hired another company to move it from the garage into our house and charged CR Movers the $150 that we had to pay the other movers. Office staff was impolite and rude. Worst was that the head mover (sit-in-the-bus-guy) drank beer on the job that was clearly on his breath. They moved us in June 2019 and I have waited five months to write this review to calm down my words. Do not use this company to move your residential belonging. As an update to my previous post, it should be noted that "additional services" were extremely limited. If plugging in a refrigerator is considered "hooking up appliances" then I guess that's what they did. They did NOT hook up my washer/dryer, they did NOT put my bed together completely, only partial, and the plastic they wrapped most items in were left on most of the furniture. I have no idea what "other services" the owner is referring to unless it was the movers bringing my furniture into the house and placing it into the appropriate rooms. Yes, they did offer to replace the broken lamp, but after he was accusatory and stated, "I told you all items like that had to boxed." I informed him that I did not bring the lamp outside and I had planned on moving it myself as I had put my lamps off to the side and by themselves. I told him to forget replacing it because I didn't want to deal with him any longer. The movers were tipped because they did a good job and took great care of my things. I also find it interesting that the owner thinks I should be thankful I was not charged more when he is the one who made a huge mistake and attempted to place the blame on me. read more

WARNING-WARNING-WARNING-WARNING-WARNING-WARNING On January 31,2018 I hired CR Moving (National Van Lines) to move some household items from a Public Storage unit to a store room about 8 miles or so away. I talked to the owner, Paul, and he told me the rate was $135.00 per hour with a 3 hour minimum. Each quarter hour after that (15 minutes) would be $33.75. This pricing included 2 men, a truck AND equipment, dollies, 2 wheeler, blankets, etc. Paul, the owner also told me the clock didn't start until the trunk and men arrived on site and stopped when they left to go back to the shop. We were supposed to start at 8:30 AM on Wednesday January 31, 2018. The truck didn't show up until 9:09 AM. At 8:50 AM I called the office to find out where the truck was, if it was coming. The loading of the truck went smoothly. The men brought in two large battered used boxes on 4 wheel dollies and proceeded to put small items into them to transport into the truck. We finished, and moved the items to the second location where the items were unloading without any hitches. The men and the truck left the location at 12:31 PM. for a total of 3 hours and 22 minutes so I should have to pay for basically 3 1/2 hours. When I received the first bill, (I received several, all with different amounts) I was being charged for 4 1/2 hours, as well as approximately $60.00 for the two used battered boxes that the workers used to put the small things in to take out to the truck. The items that were put into these boxes on the 4 wheelers were emptied, and the boxes were used 2-3 times for my move. At the end, they were put back on the truck for the next move, whoever that unfortunate person is. The boxes were NOT left with me. I dealt with the office manager through this whole billing ordeal (she was very nice). Finally the owner called me and told me he was going to charge me for 4 1/2 hours and for the large used boxes. I told him the truck should have been back to the shop long before 4 1/2 hours. It should not have taken an hour plus to drive from my location back to the shop. He also said the box charges were equipment rental. You could BUY 7 or 8 new boxes for what he was trying to charge me rent for of this EQUIPMENT. Remember equipment was included in the $135.00 an hour quote. FINALLY after going back and forth, Paul, the owner took the box "rental" off the bill and took off 1/2 an hour, charging me for 4 hours. His justification of the 4 hours was, "it is your word against my men's word". I had several people with me, who saw when the truck left to go back to the shop, but Paul didn't want to hear that. He had gotten a credit card pre-approval for a little more than his initial estimate. so figured he would charge the extra 1/2 hour even though they were not on the job for that extra 1/2 hour. I told him I would dispute the charge on my credit card for the extra 1/2 hour, which I did. Paul sent another charge through on my credit card bypassing my dispute. I failed to tell the card company not to pay CR Moving any additional charges on any separate billings. My fault. I have now informed the Credit card company not to pay any new charges that CR Moving might submit. I have also disputed both the previous charges with the card company. If you do business with this company, shame on you. You have been warned. My review is not the only negative review this company has received as I now see there are others who have had similar experiences with CR Moving. Oh, I was not given any copies of any paperwork either. read more

Mr. Fitchner I spoke with your son Ryan personally and we agreed upon payment in the form of cash due to you being stiffed prior during another move he said he wanted a card on file that wouldn't be ran until the morning of the move. The fact that you and your colleague (your son) didn't communicate that isn't my fault. You are making false statements about the payment they received $300.00 at the start of the move and when we arrived I had the addtl $240.00 in hand for the remainder of the payment. When we arrived at the new place is when $202.00 dollars was demanded which was added and calculated from the 3250lbs that you classify as estimated weight according to your estimate. Mr. Fitchner you never once addressed the discrepancy in the weight estimate which is what you partially use to calculate the total. Second statement that is totally false is that you called the police I did. Sir you weren't there and with all due respect you were the reason that I was upset because you and the two aggressive men you had working for you tried to strong arm me and say you were going to take all my belongings. When I called the police there was a lady dispatcher that heard the guy you hired screaming at me telling me in street lingo that I called the police therefore I disrespected him and he would not do the move period if money was paid or not. Mr. Fitchner you probably are not aware but the three officers that showed up (I have all that information as far as their names) because they informed me that even though they would like to enforce certain things they can't because it is civil and the officer advised me to take pictures and video of what was coming off the truck because clearly there was not 3250lbs of anything on that small truck. If you want to use logic that would entail a larger items such as grand pianos, huge wall entertainment systems(none of which I had) it was a small move the drive and stairs were the only obstacles. The fact that I kept them accountable from the beginning is what they didn't like regarding the time and I was precise and had everything near the door waiting. Mr. Fitchner did your guys tell you that myself and my mother also helped by bring things outside to the truck so they wouldn't have to come inside the house back and forth. Back to the money before the officers came my mother had already left to the bank to get the remainder of the funds the $202.00 which was added after written in with pen. Your mover at one point refused to give me the paperwork and the officer is the one who made them call you because once all the funds were in hand (of the cops) the aggressive guy got mouthy with the cops and told him he wasn't moving the rest. The officer told him let me have the owners number and you spoke with the officer the same officer stated that you said that if there really is a discrepancy in the weight that you would accommodate me and that's when he said I should CYA by taking pictures and video to prove what was on the truck couldn't and didn't weigh 3250lbs. I find it comical how you brush over or by pass the fact that your guy lied about the time he arrived I have text messages and a call log that states at 7:25 someone from your business called me after I sent text messages inquiring about ETA and was advised that your guys had a previous job at 5:30am and they were running late and would arrive within 35-45 mins and that was at 7:25 am. Lastly, I also have a text message from your son on 8/31/17 after I had two other conversations with him (call log as well) because I was in communication with him that told me to call you and let you know I pulled the cash out; that is why it didn't go through and you Mr. Fitchner told me to give them the $300.00 at the start and then the balance, so please do try to make it seem as though you had no idea or it was this big thing the issue came forth when the lies about weight, arrival time and added balance at the last minute. You and your company take every opportunity to get over and that isn't right. Mr. Fitchner you sent thugs to move me and they didn't have any problem until they seen that I was on point as far as time and organizing the move. Furthermore, I see you never addressed that we were also charged for time they didn't work and other things aforementioned regarding lies about time and weight you stayed clear away from those points because you know that is the origin of the issues period. I know I'm not the first and I won't be the last you need to come up with a more accurate way of determining weight, because again if the weight is off the calculation is off too. Math is a universal language and formulas are there to ensure the right answer if your formula is off then the equation is wrong. SECOND REVIEW FIRST ONE UP AS WELL read more

This company (and the two guys that moved me) were great! I had a "change in family status" and had to relocate to a small apartment from a two story home with heavy oak furniture and awkward floor plan. The two movers were punctual, took excellent care in padding and wrapping the furniture. They worked really quickly and efficiently at the origin location. And got the bedroom set down and loaded without issue. They did an equally efficient job at the destination location. There isn't parking for a moving truck, and two residents had to leave. They were pleasant and respectful, moving the truck to accommodate the residents (important since I will be living here). I can't believe how they actually got the furniture in the apartment...they were not small pieces. They took great care to not bump any walls. I was very explicit with them when arranging the move so they knew what to expect and give an accurate quote. They came in under the anticipated timeframe and budget. I would highly recommend this company (and these two gentlemen) and will seek them for any future moves I might do! Thank you! read more

Paul's thoughtful, detailed response includes a number of misstatements: the packer was not sent home leaving us to finish; the movers were unsupervised because Ryan and Paul assured us we didn't need to be there; no one asked to be compensated $8K (I just hoped they might offer SOME recompense); and i never said I'd write a "BAD review" under any circumstances...especially not as a sort of blackmail (pay us back or we'll smear ya) And haven't. As with Jen, this company is horrible. They came out and performed a complete inventory, very smooth and professional upfront. The started packing a week before, but were only 60% completed the day of the move. We called them several times expressing our concern about getting the move completed. They produced the same "Not to Exceed" document on move day and stated that there would be overtime charges if the crew worked longer than an eight hour day. The owner even threatened my wife that he was going to pull the crew and stop the move. In the end, we missed the move date, were CHARGED DOUBLE what the quote stated, and several items were lost or damaged. BTW, they lost the screws for our beds and charged us for all the time (overtime rates) spent looking for them in the crates where they just threw our stuff into to get us out of the previous home. CR moving was hired by my company to move me a short 4-5 miles. The arrival time time was scheduled from between 8:30-9:30am 2 men showed up at 8:32am a 3rd came about an hour later. I lived upstairs and have some large/ heavy furniture. All 3 men were very polite, hard working, courteous and respectful of ALL my belongings, even gingerly wrapping in quilts the items I would never have wrapped. Jr, the obvious lead was quick to get things done without taking any short cuts in care of my stuff. Guy and Sydney worked carefully carrying my goods down stairs and loading them into the truck. All 3 took extra care to not damage every item moved. Once we got to my new place they worked quickly to unload but were very thoughtful in ensuring every item was unwrapped carefully and place exactly where i wanted it, even moving it slightly if asked or moving it to a different room all together. Jr even took the time to put the legs back on my kitchen table. ( not his job ) extra service because he had a couple minutes while Guy and Syd grabbed the last few boxes. I was extremely happy with the service! I will absolutely use CR moving in the future for move and recommend them to family and friends. I did not plan accordingly in that a large enough tip was given, all 3 gentlemen were gracious and grateful for the small tip and mentioned it was very much appreciated. Jr did ask if I would call his boss Paul and let him know how they did. I said " of course" ya all know how hectic moving is with unpacking, work etc..... After a few days and not having had the time to call Paul, he called me! What great followup! Paul, if you read this you need to know that these 3 employees represent CR in a way any employer should be extremely proud of. They did great work! Jr especially... Jr was the lead. I have utilized the CR Moving Services first week of March. I am very unsatisfied. They are not trustworthy and very rude. They had given me a quote for 6 1/2 hours and exceeded more than 3 1/2 hours that I had to pay for overtime. They did a horrible job and takes their time. Since they are being paid by the hour. Moving is very stressful and they added stress in the situation, since I had to watch over what they were doing. A lot of hidden charges. Especially doing a second load that was never disclosed to me. Having to pay additional fees. I will never ever use or recommend this company. read more

I cannot express enough how happy I am with Cr Moving Services. We just moved this past weekend with it being 108 degrees in Sacramento. From the first time I was in contact with them it was nothing but excellent customer service & complete disclosure on everything!! Ryan came out & gave me an estimate & was right on! Paul & Alison communicated with me via email until the day of the move to make sure I didn't need anything additional. The morning of the move we received a call from the moving crew to let us know they were on their way, they arrived on time at 6:00am. They were all professional. The team I had was Eric, Pete, Aaron & Jonathon. They were AWESOME!! Packed & padded everything, asked questions, were 100% respectful to myself & my items. Moving is a very stressful time, CR Moving Services definitely helpful ease the pain! I had to relocate from my apartment due to construction and my move date was set forward my about 10 days. I tried to have everything ready, but wasn't quite there. The crew arrived on time and worked around me, even helping. The move was a little complicated because I had things going to storage and to the house where I would be staying, they took special care asking all along which items were going to which location. We actually had fun getting it done! Then there was the bed! My daughter has a low loft bed that had to be disassembled to remove from the apartment and then reassembled at the new home. It was a bit challenging getting it back together with no instructions, but they did it! I know they were miserable, the room was so hot, but they never complained. They all were so friendly and nice. They really seemed to care. I will definitely use them again! Thanks guys! read more

I love these guys! We have bought and sold several homes in the last 15 years, so we have moved alot...this last time we used CR Moving on the recommendation from our agent. These guys were very efficient, careful and energetic. We first had them move extra stuff to storage, then the next day the packed my entire house and the third day they moved us. We moved into a house with three levels and they never lost energy. While unpacking I was amazed that they packed every item so well...and not one thing broken! They were very careful with the furniture items that I had and for the first time in about 6 moves, I had not one item damaged or broken. They came in less expensive than the bid they gave me. I then had them come back and help me move a small amount from our garage over to storage. We have recommended them to two friends and they did a great job both times. read more

I would give this place minus ten if it were possible. This is my first experience with anyone who is as unprofessional and rude. I moved from out of state a few months ago and that move was smooth as a breeze. This was a local move which I was expecting to be much easier. They came to our house to move us; their workers were rude and unprofessional. They had promised to bring us supplies which were not present. When we called asking for the supplies we were promised Ryan yelled at me. Instead of owning up to their short comings and mistakes we were blamed and threatened. Their workers did they same and they threatened to cancel our move which they ended up doing. Their workers walked out and dumped our furniture back into our apartment while yelling at us. I have never been spoken to this rudely before and the entire experience has left me deeply disturbed. They don't know the first thing about respect, courtesy and ethics; Despite their exorbitant charges. After they left they put a charge on my card of $480 for the hour of while their guys were there loading barely any furniture; during which time they damaged my brand new furniture of atleast $400. I would highly discourage anyone from working with them. I have never had a worst experience with anyone in the past. They not only wasted my day; moving is stressful enough and they made it ten times worst. This company will leave you feeling harassed, lied to and will make your life miserable. They claim to be a licensed organization; when they do not know the first thing about professionalism. I believe they should not be trusted to have a license with their poor work ethics and demeaning behavior. I ended up finding other movers two days later who were amazing and made me feel like I was taken care of; all the things that a reputable company with good work ethics should have. I am writing this review of this company even though, unfortunately, I did not give them my business. I recently relocated between Nor and So Cal. I initially met with Ryan, the owner, at my home. He thoroughly investigated my house and made an offer. Unfortunately, I also got an offer from a moving company from Hell out of Bay Area, which I am dealing with now. I will likely end up paying this nightmare company more than what Ryan quoted me....so you know...cheap is really not cheap. In my desperation, I called Ryan for help and guidance. Holly goodness!!!! If he was this honest, kind and helpful while I rejected his business, I can only imagine how he would be had I given him my business. He throughly explained my options, my strategy and what to do to deal with this nightmare company. He was on the phone with me for over an hour. In retrospect, I wish I had given him my business and I strongly recommend that you strongly consider this man. Please, Please, Please, do not fall for the lowest price....And, unless q moving company come to your house and give you a written estimate, chances are you are going to get scammed. EVERYONE BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This company and the people employed (movers) are crooks and scammers. First things first, the company was scheduled to do a move for me on 9/1/17. Initially I had the consultation regarding pricing with the son Ryan, he came to my apartment which was a small two bdrm apartment ground floor. The initial estimate was for $540.00 that included the drivetime of an hr (which is double 1hr there 1 hr return) I agreed to that and a three hr move. Upon Ryan's arrival we walked through and I showed him what would be taken and moved to the new unit. The items consisted of: (1) bedroom set that was completely broken down, (1) love seat (1)big couch (I will continue but to give you an idea of the point I will make these items were the largest items being taken) I didn't take my old dining set as I just purchased a new one and also a new bdrm set. Also including (20) boxes all stacked by the door and they took and loaded that boxes in 5-8 minutes flat I say this because the first part of the move only lasted 1hr 20mins including loading all other items that were to be moved. The addtl' 10 minutes consisted of the driver and worker sitting in the truck getting the GPS working on his phone and putting wrapping paper and boxes in the back of the king cab truck that was hitched to a small trailer type truck (so they had to remove their items during my move to accommodate for lack of room on the truck). So on the drive down the driver of the truck was driving so slow that cars were speeding around them and I was behind trying to monitor time. (Basically they are continuously running up the clock anywhere they can). When we arrive at the final destination the driver hands me the phone and says that they want the remainder which is $442.00, I gave at the start 300.00 and it was suppose to be a total of $540.00 or it can be as much as $610.00 because of the stairs at the new place. According to the son (Ryan) who came to my apartment for the estimate and he broke down the calculation I specifically told him that in the calculation it references a total LBS of 3,250 that is partly what they base their calculation off of( that is why I explained what the biggest items was in the beginning). I explained that the calculation was extremely off and he (Ryan) said that based on what he seen there and the fact that I would be doing all the boxing and that they weren't moving two full rooms it shouldn't be that much at all. I even asked Ryan since you're basing it off calculation are you going to weigh your truck before the load and after the load so that it would be an accurate account of what is in the truck. Ironically I live near a weigh station however; Ryan says" No, we just use weight as apart of the calculation we don't weigh anything. I was assessed to have 3250 LBS when I didn't even have 800 LBS and that is generous on that truck. When your calculation is off everything there after is as well, specifically pricing.The owner Paul was very facetious and condescending and his attitude was as if he didn't want to hear anything even after his worker lied to him about the arrival time and I had to tell him (Paul) in his workers' face that he wasn't being truthful and he omitted the fact that they arrived at 8:20. Paul said to me " I can track my trucks and it looks like they arrived at 8:15" so for me that still isn't 7:30 as reported. Definitely at this point I am very heighten in terms of awareness and I feel like I am being taken advantage of. I moved from Elk Grove to Fairfield Ca which is a 53 min travel time w/o traffic( actually a little less but that's a fair account) and there wasn't any). So all in all 2hr drive time 1hr 20 min loading and the driver told Paul that to off-load it would be 2hrs. so total that is 5hr 20 min and I was charged for 6 hrs at $742.00. The biggest part of the whole AWFUL ORDEAL is that i had to call the POLICE on the THUGS that he employs. Paul told them that if he didn't get the money to lock my stuff up and take it back to the shop. When the movers arrived I gave them $300.00 when we got to the new place I had $200.00 and I was aware that it would be $40.00 extra dollars IF needed again speaking with Ryan he said that it shouldn't be over the price listed. I called the police because one of the guys he had working for him was extremely aggressive the dispatcher heard him screaming at me and basically being threatening so she dispatched officer's out (it is civil so officer usually don't come out but because of what was heard she decided to send a unit). Two units actually came and talked to me and made sure I was o.k. and wanted to get my side they did and then went to speak with the guys. The officer wanted to know if I had the money explained yes the $540.00 and that I sent my mother to the bank to get the remainder because remember they weren't going to give me my items unless they had their money. Moving has always been a stressful experience for me. I had to make arrangements quickly...because I put it off. The response from these guys was actually too good to be believed. They were helpful, polite and did back flips to accommodate me...even on short notice. There price was more than fare...they showed up on time and the movers they sent were not to be believed. Previously, the folks in the front office were well spoken, but the crews who showed up looked like they were onpaole. The two guys they sent were experienced, quick and had many helpful suggestions. I moved this stuff into a storage facility and naturally, there was more than I thought there was to move. When we got to the storage facility I was worried because I could not image how they would get everything in...was sure I would have to rent another space. The lead guy said not to worry...it took him about 20 minutes to reposition everything already there....and was able to fit everything in...I was amazed at how he was able to gauge precisely what was needed. never a grumble or complaint about what was clearly hard extra work. I am disabled and the weather was quite warm....I began to feel poorly. I never said anything or asked for any help...this is something I just live with. But the lead guy saw I was having some difficulty moving and ran over to me and just said..."this is a hot day"...why don't you just put your arm on my shoulder." He wasn't patronizing...he was...as their name says "compassionate." Well, I appreciated it. Nothing was broken or damaged...they were real pros.
