I just love Aloha Krab. Its always delicious. We have gone a few times, and there has been a mistake but they are always quick and kind to remedy the situation. This past visit was for my partner's birthday, we hadn't even called ahead and they brought out a small piece of cheesecake for her. It has a good vibe on the inside and does feel separate enough from the mall, an it has its own entrance as well. The dine in a spacious with tons of seating and the staff is very friendly! I usually get double catch f which comes with 1/2 lbs crawfish, 1 cluster of snow crab legs and 1/2 lbs sausage. It usually comes with 3 potatoes and corn. I chose the aloha special for the sauce which is buttery garlicky and Cajun all packed into one. That's only $30 what a deal if you ask me. My family and I recently dined at Aloha Krab to celebrate a special occasion. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing, especially considering our bill was over $600. While packing our leftovers, our server, Nathan, picked up one of the takeout bags. It was clearly leaking, but instead of immediately setting it back down on the plate or tray, he continued lifting and moving it. As a result, the bag gave way, spilling liquid everywhere. It covered the table, my daughter's cellphone, my other daughter's purses, and the surrounding area before the bag ultimately dropped onto the floor. I understand that accidents happen, and we would have been much more understanding if this had simply been an unavoidable mistake. However, Nathan could clearly see that the bag was leaking. Instead of setting it back down immediately to prevent a bigger mess, he continued moving it, which caused the bag to burst and spill everywhere. That is what made this situation so frustrating. Rather than handling the situation with urgency or concern, Nathan simply left the spilled bag on the floor, grabbed another bag from a nearby table, and continued packing the food. He apologized, but no one offered towels, extra napkins, assistance with cleaning up, or any type of compensation. We were left to clean the mess ourselves using the napkins already on the table. The only thing that was cleaned was the floor. An employee came over with a dirty mop and bucket and mopped around us while we were still trying to gather our belongings and clean ourselves up. Not once did anyone ask if my daughter was okay or show any real concern for the damage to her phone or our belongings. When my other daughter's purses were covered in the spilled food and liquid, the only thing Nathan offered was a rag and a bottle of Windex, which was completely inappropriate considering the situation. My daughter's phone is now displaying a liquid detection warning in the charging port and may need to be replaced because of the spill. Sadly, this isn't our first negative experience with Nathan. Every time we've had him as our server, he has had an attitude and wears an earbud throughout the entire meal, which comes across as unprofessional and inattentive. Since gratuity was automatically included, it honestly felt like there was little concern about providing quality customer service. We chose Aloha Krab to celebrate with our family, but instead we left frustrated and disappointed. We hope management takes this complaint seriously, addresses this incident appropriately, and reaches out regarding the damage to my daughter's phone. After this experience, we have decided that we will not be returning to Aloha Krab. What should have been a special family celebration turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. We expected much better service and professionalism, especially after spending over $600. We hope management takes the necessary steps to ensure no other family has to experience what we did. read more

This is the 3rd seafood boil place my son and I have tried in the area. We ordered snow crabs in medium spice Aloha sauce with corn, potatoes, and noodles added in the bag. Also, order of 5 chicken wings in medium buffalo and garlic bread. I ordered a lemon drop martini and my son had a Shirley Temple. We had a great time and filled our bellies with good food. Bring your own disposable gloves as they have the cheap, gigantic clear gloves that don't help much like the other establishments have. The bib I felt was thicker and better quality than other restaurants. We did like the sauce but it may not be our #1. The waiter gave a good toss of the bag at our table and opened it for us. I think this service stood out from the rest. Everything in the bag was delicious. The wings were lightly coated and sauce drizzled on. They were good and hot in temp. The garlic bread was nothing special. Hardly any garlic or butter taste. I ended up dipping it in the seafood boil sauce. Definitely convenient place when you're craving seafood. Went there for the first time bc we love seafood boil and someone we love was bragging this place up. Neither one of us had eaten all day. We started with the crab bisque and hushpuppies. Both were good. I got the 1/2 lb. shrimp 1/2 lb. Black mussels, and added the sausage to my boil which came with 2 potatoes and two portions of corn on the cob. I had my sauce on the side bc it's less messy that way and I could control how much I had on my meal. My boyfriend got the lobster and green mussels boil soaked in garlic butter and downed the whole thing! I brought 1/2 of mine home bc I was sooooo full! The leftovers were great! We got several meals out of them! Our server was very efficient. Our drinks were always kept full, she explained things to us and answered any questions we had and all the food came out super fast. Meant to post this review a while ago but i was busy. Upon arriving, i was greeted by a really funny Pirate statue that looked like it had just weathered a handful of bad storms, once inside it was a pretty quiet ambient vibe, there wasn't really anyone sitting down and eating, and there were very few servers, so little I could've counted them on one hand. that didn't really bother me though, what did was that the tables were covered in some pretty cheap paper cloth, that i think I could have poked a hole in without much effort. The napkins were also pretty cheap and they looked like a lot of napkins you could get from fast food places. Service was nice and straightforward, everything i asked for was provided and honestly it's hard to say anything else other than I was not really checked on when I received my main meal. Speaking of that meal... I ordered a crab bisque as an appetizer and a Po Boy Shrimp Sandwich as my entree. The crab bisque didn't light my fire so to speak. it felt rough going down, not being as smooth and creamy as I would have liked, however it did have a good amount of crab. The sandwich was great, and is the real star of the show. It had really well cooked crispy fried shrimp with a solid amount of lettuce and tomato that wasn't too overwhelming, allowing the flavor of the shrimp to satisfy my taste buds. Whenever I go back I definitely would struggle to not order that sandwich instead of trying something else. Overall, I had a pretty decent experience at Aloha Krab. It's got a lot of quirks that add or subtract to the experience, and I will definitely go here again. I would give a 3.5 if Yelp had 3.5s, but 3 will have to do for now. Not bad, Aloha Krab. I decided to stop in for a drink and maybe a quick appetizer on a Monday between 3-4pm. No one greeted me upon entering the establishment so I walked to the bar area and seated myself. I still was not approached by any staff for 10-15 minutes though there were other patrons at the bar and a couple of booths that were occupied. A lady in a winter jacket with her hood up approached me not from behind the bar but from the entrance and asked what I wanted?? I had to ask her if she was an employee, there was no way to tell. [DO NOT GET SCAMMED!] When I walked in, there were multiple signs (pic 2) saying the mini aloha combo was BOGO 50% off, only $19.99. Both my friend and I understood it as the price of a combo is $19.99, so two combos would be about $30. I thought it was weirdly cheap but assumed it was because they ordered too much stock. When I ordered, my waitress went to go check with the manager to confirm they were doing this deal. When I got my first check, it was for $90+, everything was full price. When I asked the waitress why the bill was so high and showed her pic 2, she went to find her manager and got it changed to the receipt in pic 1. When I asked about the deal, the manager was extremely rude and condescending, saying that everyone else understood it correctly, if I misunderstood the deal, then she doesn't what to tell me. When I asked to speak to someone higher up, she said "well, I'm the manager". When I asked who wrote the deal, she said the owners. I then asked for the owners email because I would like explain that the deal is worded unclearly and suggest they reword it. She said "They are Chinese, they don't speak English, only Chinese". To which I replied "I speak Chinese" (I'm Chinese btw). She said "Good for you". She then gave me a phone number to the store and said "you can call the store but I'm the manager". She had a horrible attitude the entire interaction. What I would like to have happened: They could've worded this deal better, and when I brought up my misunderstanding and asked for clarification, they could've been more polite and professional and just explained what it meant instead of giving me attitude. Positives from my experience: the waitress was extremely nice and professional, they had her working 8+ tables so the service was a bit slow, but she was running around getting food and drinks and checks to everyone. The shrimp, calamari and sweet potato fries were good (I've been here many times before and these are my go tos) Negatives: snow crab clusters are a hit or miss, last time I got them they were very watery and were not fresh. This time was a lot better (only got it because of the deal) Overall the food is good, and definitely worth the price (I would, and did, gladly pay the price for today's meal, the whole interaction happened after I had agreed to pay). I've always had positive experiences until this one. I do not plan to go again for a while, and strongly hope the manager can be more respectful to customers. read more

So glad they came to town. I have been to other cities and have enjoyed there food. I went right when they opened up the new spot in Destiny. Everything was spot on. The boil bags were perfect. I had the snow crab with shrimp. Of course potatoes and corn are included. All were steaming hot and perfectly seasoned with some yummy Cajun seasoning. Others in my party had the shrimp boat with fries. They were impressed. They also have some great drinks from the bar. Come and check them out for some great seafood. read more

When asked to bring additional items to the table it took him so long that the food was ate by the time he returned to the table 20 mins later! Mind you the restaurant was not busy at all and we often saw him standing around talking to the hostess. Not to mention after paying the bill he and another person started cleaning our entire table while we were still sitting there, reaching over me with my baby in hand and even removing the table cloth. Outstanding! The atmosphere, service and especially the food is too notch! This place is unlike any other food experience I've ever had. It's Cajun cuisine: seafood lathered in spicy aloha sauce (garlic butter, lemon, spices etc), with potatoes and corn. Our food came in a plastic bag with bibs, gloves and "tools" to crack the crab and have a great time figuring out how to get the meat out. My boyfriend usually hates restaurants but he absolutely loves coming here!! This place is seriously the best seafood I've ever had and I rate it. Reservations really not necessary. Wasn't fond of a random dog brought into the restaurant that wasn't a service dog. The food was brought out basically all at once no time to enjoy the appetizer before our food was brought out. Unfortunately the amount of crawfish to shrimp was not even close to half pound each. The shrimp were very well cooked and seasoned well but it was no where near a pound unless you are count the 2 red potatoes and I piece of corn broke in half.
