First time trying this place out. Made it takeout choosing a variety of seafood options. The seafood medley included crab, scallops, shrimp, and clams. All steamed. They were also all seasoned with Old Bay seasoning. If you like Old Bay seasoning, you will like the way these are prepared. If not, you might not. As it happens, I like Old Bay seasoning. I'm sure you can order it without the seasoning. Scallops were fantastic (so I am told because I am not a scallop fan), the shrimp was big and prepared right. The crab legs were spot on, and the clams were OK. They were dry, not a lot of flavor, but three out of four isn't bad. The medley also included fantastic steamed, broccoli, potato wedges, and corn on the cob. Keep in mind, all of these were seasoned with Old Bay. A solid choice for Syracuse seafood. read more

For Valentine's Day my husband & I ordered the large F platter, an order of calamari, and their shrimp & corn soup. The platter was HUGE and bursting with flavor. My hubby and I each ordered a combo,what I loved was the items like shrimp and clams and scallops are by the lb. My husband got 1/2 lb of shrimp & 1/2 lb of scallops....it came with a good portion of potatoes, broccoli and corn. He couldn't finish it all and it was around $23. My combo had shrimp, clams, lobster tail,and snow crab cluster, potatoes, broccoli and corn....we could have added a couple of sides and split either one. Soooo many combo meals to choose from. Sounds good but honestly makes it difficult to choose. Ordered combo B (I think) in Cajun with an extra cluster of crab legs. Due to COVID, the only option is takeout. The restaurant seems clean but I don't recall the ladies behind the counter wearing masks. The food has decent flavor and you get good portions. I LOVE a good seafood boil and this was my first time having a seafood bake. I feel like...Eh. The broccoli is good but the potatoes were cut and brownish, which maybe happens when you bake them? The crab legs were okay but a bit overdone as it was hard to get the meat out of the shell. Parking is street or in a small parking lot next to the building. We had takeout from here tonight. They failed to include 2 items ordered separately. When I called, I was told they could not correct this issue and to call Grub Hub, which I did. The food that did arrive was cold, the snow crab were pencil thin and didn't hold any meat. The only dish we liked as the Lobster Bisque which I reheated. We were excited to try this restaurant after reading reviews and a news article on syracuse.com, but were disappointed with the food. The server who took care of us was great-very friendly and professional. One of the servers had on so much perfume that when she walked by our table, we had to stop eating until the cloud dissipated. We had a shrimp platter and a lobster tail entree. Both the shrimp and lobster were overcooked, tough, and chewy. Our server was apologetic and offered to get something else, but we declined. He said that next time it would hopefully be better, as they are definitely listening to customer feedback. The lobster meat was hot, but the shell was ice cold, so I have to wonder if it was precooked, refrigerated, then reheated when I ordered. If that's the case, next time won't be any better. The sides were good, and the cole slaw was one of the best. The atmosphere was nice-good music, colorful decor, and clean. I wish them well and will probably try again after they've had time to fix the issues. read more

Not many people have heard from this place that I talked to going prior, but I've been recommending it since I went this past weekend. It seems like they get a lot of to go orders. I ordered a combo C. Way more than enough food, and so flavorful. 5/5, would definitely go back. No complaints. I don't like coleslaw, but from what I hear from the people that I know that have went, and people at the restaurant the same time as myself, it's supposed to be amazing. Grubhub order. Food was greasy, the corn on the cob was awful, broccoli was brown, the slaw was disgusting. I felt bad for the driver because the grease had leaked all over the bag and saturated the underside and into his car. They apparently didn't have one of the two desserts listed on their menu so they did credit our order but never let us know or called to ask if we would want something else. They forgot the crab cakes we ordered. When I called (seemingly missing three out of the 6 items we ordered), the "night manager" informed me about the desserts. As to the crab cakes, she insisted that she herself packed up the order and the crab cakes were in the package - implying that either we were lying or that the driver must've taken them. Considering that the tape on the bag was intact and not tampered with, the only true conclusion was that she forgot them and this "night manager" (she made sure I knew her position repeatedly) was trying to save face. I had also asked for extra tartar sauce, and her response was that I had to pay extra for it. That was fine with me but there was no way of ordering extra tartar sauce on the Grubhub menu - another thing that she insisted I was wrong about. The food was mediocre at best and I had to put up with a "night manager" squabbling with me over a $10 appetizer on a $120+ order. No repeat from us - order at your own risk. read more

You give your order first then find an open table unless you're there to take out.
