Sitting here right now with my hubby, we came on a extremely busy night, where we had to park a few ways down. (so you know it's good) I ordered a a chicken sandwich my hubby ordered boneless BBQ wings and appetizer Coconut shrimp which I forgot to take a picture of and a chocolate cake for dessert. Everything absolutely Everything was delicious and yummy. The place was crowded it was hard to find a seat at first, the place was very well clean, waitress was extremely friendly. We will be back.

Crabby Al's is fantastic! Their Lobster Bisque is to die for! And many other delicious choices! Also, they have karaoke on Wednesdays from. 7 to 10 with Travelin' Vin. Such a great guy and so welcoming and talented. Also, my friends and I went on a Friday to hear a live band. Their name was "Not Sorry." ALL amazing musicians. The female lead is unbelievable! And,of course, the instrumentalists were also amazing! Go to Crabby Al's anytime for great food, nice people, and fun entertainment!

What a great local spot with karaoke and good food! We've been meaning to try this spot since moving nearby. The parking is on the street which is okay if it's not a busy night. The entrance in front does not lead to a waitress or a booth you walk into a bar. Which is fine but just so you know. From what I saw though is that there is a restaurant dining side I just didn't bother figuring out how to get there. Anyways, we sat at the bar that had plenty of seats! There is 1 pool table. The waitress staff are super friendly and want to make sure you like your drinks and food! I love seafood but if you're not big on seafood like my boyfriend just know that options are slim for non- seafood lovers. I got the lobster bisque and lemmmmme tell you- CHEF's kiss! It actually has claw lobster meat in there so you know it's not the fake stuff. Veryyyy flavorful! I also got the cheesy garlic bread- Um yum !!! My boyfriend got the burger and fries and not a crumb was left/ really big burger too. The martinis are on point!!! Truly enjoyed the winter creations they had. We had a great time doing karaoke which seems to be a hit here. Great night and good food :)

Firstly I am a picky picky foodie and can cook better than 90% of establishments that I visit. This place is so casual and under the radar, we just happened upon it. We shared the French Onion soup (some of the best we've had and to my great disappointment it was not shared in a 50/50 split (yes I could have ordered another but I'm full) Also the crab cakes, flavor was amazing, personally I like to see big pieces of crab but these were very tasty and the sauce was also great flavor. Lastly we shared the calamari with Gorgonzola cherry pepper sauce. Very creative and also very delicious. We encountered no crabby people named Al, our server was a cute little blond who's name I failed to get but she was wonderful and gave good recommendations. Really happy with this place, if I was a local we would be here a lot and I would probably be heavier.

Chelsea our waitress was awesome and really enjoyed her! Ordered the fried calamari with Gorgonzola & hot cherry peppers, not a piece was left. The back deck is so big and beautiful. It overlooks the Naugatuck river, which is surprisingly a beautiful sight.

When I order a fish dinner I expect the fish to be fresh, not a frozen piece of fish that they just throw in a deep fryer! Yuk!

A good place to grab a drink and a good appetizer! I sat at the bar so the bartender came right up to me! I would definitely go back!

This spring and summer we've…read moreenjoyed some very tasty foods, dishes prepared and served with a consistency that we felt had been lacking a bit over the last year or two. For us, the "star" dish is shrimp and grits, in large part because these folks know how to prepare cheesy grits. They are cooked just right, not dry, not runny, very flavorful, and supporting a bed of big, yummy fried shrimp with a sprinkling of spinach on top. An excellent dish! But, so are the fish and chips, the French fries (they cook 'em crispy they way we prefer), and ... well, we haven't been disappointed at all. The young servers are friendly, the bar offers up some good, sweet treats, and the seating is under a well-protected tent outdoors and indoors since they are now a year-round operation. We think the prices are fair given the quality of food and the overall dining experience, which we'd label casual, or perhaps informal. Please note the parking area can get very crowded especially on weekends, so be prepared.

You have an open air tent seating option along with a field seating option that is family and dog friendly. Expect a longer wait time for food. Truly, their fried options are the best options on the menu and that shouldn't be the case. Their cocktails are not consistent, but when they're made well, they are great. The food is expensive for what you get, for instance, 1 small cod fillet for fish and chips. As I write, the more I realize perhaps it's a solid 3.5 stars. For an outdoor dining establishment in the summer, it hits the spot.

I have heard great things about Ordinary Joe's especially those wings and their multiple flavor options. Our server Lindsay was and is awesome every time we have been there. First visit to the O Joe's North location - understanding I/we love the original. It exceeded every possible expectation. Food is terrific - has the same standard as Watertown, but our wings were cooked even better. Fresh, hot, crispy, juicy. Definitely the best Ordinary Joe's wings we've had (and we have a lot of them, often). The food options are clearly rooted in the original concept. However, there are some more/different options here. Everything looked and smelled fantastic. I look forward to investigating further. Our server, Vanessa, earned 25 stars on her own. She was attentive, personable, yet worked quickly and accurately - manning a full bar and dining room simultaneously - while making us feel like we were the only ones in the joint. Manager/(Owner?) Paul was terrific as well. Stepped in to ensure all tables had what they needed, were clean, and everyone happy. It was truly noticeable that customer service is a priority for the team. Building is new/redone/beautiful. Similar, iconic O Joe's feel and decorating - yes, the gridiron is painted on the ceiling. Just a great space. Great vibe. Eat-off-the-floor clean. Simply can't wait to go back. And, again, I am so lucky to have proximity to both locations. **Just one note for families who may go with children or teenage boys (like me)... The service is so great, no one at the table will have an empty glass for long... that's a really positive thing. But, fair warning, soft drink refills are NOT free (nor should they be, frankly). However, with an 18 and 16 yr old in my party...those Cokes accumulate quickly.

I've known about this place for a while, and a friend reminded me that they recently changed locations. We were seated in the bar area at a high table and were given two menus: a happy hour menu that lasted until 6 PM and their regular menu. We figured we'd order a few things off of their happy hour menu while it was still going on, then move on to the regular menu after 6 PM, since we knew we'd be there for at least a couple of hours. We ordered a shrimp appetizer, gnocchi, fries, wine, and a white Cosmo to start. My absolute favorite was the grilled shrimp appetizer, even though the other two were very good as well. My friend's favorite was the gnocchi. From the regular menu, I ordered the ham and cheese croquettes and she ordered the regular cheese croquettes since she is vegetarian. We loved those as well. These four tapas were enough to serve as our dinner and we didn't have to order anything else. The service was fantastic and I thought that everything was priced very well. I liked that there was a parking lot right next-door. A friend met us. Later on for a final drink and mentioned that he liked this new location better than the old location. I would definitely return and try different tapas. Their entrées also looked very good. I really like this location because you can walk around and do other things after dinner in the area.

The Brussels sprout salad was top-notch--packed with flavor and one of my favorite dishes of the night. The pasta was also excellent, with a perfectly balanced creamy sauce that wasn't too heavy. I especially liked how they presented all the dessert options, making it fun to choose. We ended up ordering the pistachio cake, but unfortunately, it wasn't my favorite. It tasted much saltier than expected rather than sweet. I'm not sure if it was due to the cream cheese or the pistachios themselves, but the flavor felt a bit off for a dessert. Overall, it was a great dining experience.
