After a Tampa airport dropoff we ventured to St. Petr zbeach for the sunset. After a short stroll on the beach we decided on Crabby Bills for a late dinner. We opted for rooftop, outdoor seating. You place your name and party size on a clip board that is attached to a chalk board sign right outside to door. Wait was only 10 minutes and we were seated at the bar. I had a pina colada that was frozen and very tasting. Not to strong and very creamy. We ordered the Fried flounder sandwich meal tgat came with cole slaw or fries. I opted fir the slaw. The flounder was fried to prefection and delicious. I did not really care for the slaw, not as sweet as i like but edible. It came dressed with lettuce, tomato and tartar sauce. My husband had the clam chowder that he thoroughly enjoyed. It was not hot enough for him but the server warmed it upon request. Service was great, staff pleasant although it was hot and they were mixing drinks, taking orders, serving food, replenishing ice and engaging with patrons at the bar. An added bonus was the sunset. It was just girgeous amd never gets old. Plenty of onsite parking at the time we arrived. I would return. read more

Wow, just wowzers. I've never felt such invigoration in my life. It was a spring season's day in the big St Pete. My girlfriend and I decided that some food from the sea would be consumable here in Florida. After we treaded along the Beach (which i think belongs to Saint Peter), I guzzled my muzzle to the brim with fresh snow crab legs and.... had a few fun events after i can't state. The delicious beurre à la bourguignonne with crab legs were to die for. I was squirming and squishing around in pure bliss as the savory Chionoecetes opilio meat kept me alive. Crabby Bill's is the spot to be for beachside crab cakes and cocktails! Also love their french fries. The service was welcoming and warm- and why wouldn't it be because as I said, beach-side!! They have indoor and outdoor seating. I'm not sure what the indoor dining room looks like, but we sat outside with a view of the beach. Plenty of parking in their parking lot, but we did go around 2/3pm on a Sunday, so it wasn't very crowded at all. They also had security in the parking lot if that's something you're concerned about. Overall great spot, especially for a beach break! Flips flops and swimsuit coverup are welcome. read more

Eating at Crabby Bill's is a must, especially for those seafood lovers. You can't miss the teal building. You walk in and greeted by the hostess stand - if you want outdoor seating you have to go up a floor. We walked upstairs but then realized it was way too hot to eat outside and there wasn't much shade. Lots of high top/bar type seating outside. We walked back downstairs and the inside seating is huge! The place doesn't look that big but wow! Inside has big windows to look out and see the beach. Our server was friendly but not overly attentive. Didn't refill our drinks or check on us too much. If you love seafood then this place is for you - a ton of seafood menu options. Appetizer wise we ordered the hushpuppies and they were so good! Hot and crunchy and the mustard sauce hit the spot. I went with the crab cake sandwich and fries. The crab cake was a good size and full of delicious crab meat. The fries were boring and not memorable. My husband ordered the fish and chip dinner but he was given the fish sandwich. But he was happy with his sandwich and impressed with the fish. The bathrooms are large and decently kept up cleanliness wise. read more

One of the only "seafood" spots on Indian Rocks beach. The atmosphere is cool and beachy but the food is mediocre at best. I got a crab cake which was super dry and "meh". The potatoes were yummy and comforting. I started with the $5 peel and eat shrimp in drawn butter, that was my favorite part of the meal. We came here 15 years ago and decided to try again for old times sake. I ordered 2 pounds snow crab and was disappointed to see that they dumped a bunch of seasoning on the crab legs. I wasn't aware they were heavily seasoned or I wouldn't have ordered them. Someone else in my group ordered peel your own shrimp and it looked like the seasoning was just quickly dumped in the middle. Why wreck seafood with nasty seasoning? At least make the guest aware before they order "fresh" seafood. read more

The restaurant fulfills its promise with regards to its name: soft shell crab appetizer was very flavorful and lightly breaded, snow crab legs were absolutely mouthwatering and clam chowder was tasty (even though a little bit too heavy on the flour). Our 1st night in St Pete and I was so excited to go to Crabby Bill's for dinner and amazing raw oysters. We were seated on the roof top deck with and amazing view and ice cold beverages. Our server came to take our order. My partner ordered the "Mothers day" shrimp cocktail and white fish sandwich. I ordered the long awaited dozen raw oysters and grouper fish tacos. I asked about the $5 run runner special. Server said " would you like 1?" Not yet but dont forget me. He said " I got you" and walked away. That was the last time we ever saw our server at the table. We did see him at the bar. We saw him talking to his friends and we saw him looking over at us. We even made eye contact with him We waited and waited 30 min. Still no appetizers Drinks empty. This would be a great time for that rum runner! Then 40 minutes go by. Finally a female server walked up with our entrees. We tell her we never got appetizers and unsure why our waiter abandoned us. Even after this waiter never came over. Not to check on how meal was. Not ask if we needed anything and not to apologized for the error with the appetizers. Nothing. So again we wait. And wait. And wait. Finally ask the female server who was hustling around giving great service to her own tables if we could get out check. She relayed the request to "our server" who, after another long wait came over with the check and said " sorry, they JUST told me they ran out of the appetizers" when we complained that he could have checked on us he all he said was " I've been here since 6am" and walked away. Finally the bartender came over to let us pay. As an apology she said I took the appetizers off your bill. Are you kidding me? Yeah you did! Such a huge disappointment the night in a night that was so long anticipated. read more

First off the waitress was most definitely high when I tried to order a lemonade with blue raspberry he said they don't have lemonade when you could clearly see some of the cocktails had lemonade in it, tried to order a crabby bill blue lagoon with no alcohol and said they can't do it, like bro all you gotta do is make a crabby bill blue lagoon with no acohol it only gets worse, he didn't even glance at us giving us drinks and food he was so rude it took our waitress at least 20 minutes to deliver food at the least we cut him some slack because he was in the restroom but when he went to the kitchen and walked out with food we was moving stuff when he literally walked past us to the people in front of us horrible waiter.
