6.26.26 It had been several years since my husband and I last dined here. On our recent visit, we came with my SIL and her partner around noon on a Friday. When we arrived, it wasn't too busy, so we decided to play some arcade games before lunch. That turned out to be a mistake because by the time we were ready to eat, there was a wait. We were told it would be about 15 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 25. The arcade room was quite dark, which made playing pinball difficult. When I asked a staff member if the lights could be turned on, she explained that the owner prefers to keep them off. I hope they reconsider, as better lighting would make the arcade much more enjoyable. There are single-occupancy restrooms near the arcade that were much less busy than those by the main dining area. Since our last visit, we also learned that the former liquor store next door has been converted into an overflow dining room when the main restaurant is busy, and it's also used for private events. Despite the wait, Angie, our server, was excellent. She was personable, attentive, and even happy to take a group photo for us. The food was great. I especially enjoyed the Old Bay wings, rockfish tenders, soft shell crab sandwich, and waffle fries. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal, and we look forward to returning.

Such a unique place! Restaurant/bar in the front, old school arcade in the back! Went in on a Friday afternoon with a group of 20+ and our server Shelia was amazing! Cream of crap soup was perfect and had large chunks of crab, and the Chesapeake chicken with Alfredo was delicious! Hushpuppies got the seal of approval from everyone at my little table, even the southerners! Stole a bit of my friend's steak on her salad and it was cooked to perfection. Arcade games were so cool and just good old fashioned fun. Go check this place out, it's great for all ages!

Such a fun place for games and food. We came here for lunch and enjoyed playing all the classic video games and pinball games. We ordered nachos, crab fries and burgers. Everything was good. The game room is amazing. The bathrooms smell horrible.

I went with some friends to this spot to celebrate the end of my summer semester. A couple of our friends have been here before and highly recommended it and I see why! We sat at the bar to get some drinks and food. Our bartender was April and she was very friendly and attentive to our group. We tried a variety of food including blackened ahi tuna (some of the best I've had!), clam strips (delicious, light batter, tender, nice tartar sauce), mac and cheese, hush puppies (fantastic), and more. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. We then headed into the arcade. They have lots of pinball and retro games. The games are quarter based; bring your own or there is a change machine and atm (fees apply). You can also give cash to your bartender/server for quarters. This is a great casual spot with good food, good service, and a fun time with games! I'll definitely be back!

Love their food and classic games are always fun! Good for a guys night out or date night as well.

We visited again on yesterday afternoon and the vibes from our waiter was great, thanks Tay! The best thing we ordered was the crab dip waffle fries. Everything else was ok due to lack of seasoning. I ordered the crab cakes entree and was good a portion with not a lot filler that came with hush puppies and they were good. My guests had the seafood delight that lack seasoning for the potatoes and disappointment in substituting items. The other got the seafood trio was just ok.

This is a fun crab boil restaurant with a casual atmosphere and great service. The food was good and we enjoyed ourselves. Stick around after and enjoy the back room with all the pinball machines. My only complaint is that they charged us for using a credit card, so be prepared. Finding this to be more common now. Everyone was happy with their meals, the shrimp and scallops were a little disappointing but I think they were priced accordingly.

I used to come here in the 90s. It's definitely a staple in the community and it brought me back to times we could play the arcade games here all day after school. My homegirl works here and it's her family's business. I really can't say anything negative about it, but it's a solid 4 stars for me. There are 2 sides to this place, one side has the arcade games and pinball machines. I was on the other side at the bar, in front of the TV watching the game. This occurred January 4th because I was watching the Ravens at home against the Browns. The Long Island was good, probably a little too sweet, but good. I couldn't drink it all. The wings were a good size and really hot. The crab fries was good and enough for 2 people and I couldn't eat it all. The customer service was top notch. The environment was great and I will be back to rate my arcade game experience.

Jeremy is adopted. When he found his birth family, his brother (who had been living across the street from us for about 7 years) had moved to North Dakota before we met him. And then he died. However, we spoke on the phone with Josh many, many times, and during one of those conversations we were talking about crabs - and how much Josh missed them. So I asked him where he liked to eat, when he still lived here, and Crabtowne was one of his top places. Ever since then, I have been wanting to check it out, especially when I did some research and learned about their arcade room. How quirky!! We finally went last Sunday (sorry for the delay in reviewing. It's been a helluva a week), with a friend who had gone to high school with Josh, and her husband. An even more ridiculous bit of the brothers story is that we went to North Dakota for Josh's funeral. It took four days of traveling by car. It was the first time Jeremy met his birth father, and nephew, but it was also the first time we met many of Josh's friends. So many amazing people drove halfway across the country to honor Josh, and met his brother who lives in their same neighborhood, including the above mentioned friend from high school. What a complex way to make friends! Jeremy and I arrived early, because we're impatient people, which worked out because there was a bit of a wait because it was Sunday evening in the summer in Maryland and Crabtowne has steamed crabs (imagine that!). We sat at the bar and had drinks while we waited for a table to open up. The bartender was great! Friendly and fun. We ended up talking about her pen collection (she has some good ones, let me tell you, including glittery ones!) and how she'll chase people down if they try to take them. Some locals were also at the bar, and I enjoyed talking to them as well. We didn't have to wait long for our table, and were able to order drinks for our friends so they could enjoy as soon as they sat down. There was some kind of Shark Bite drink on special, that was blue and had a gummy shark in it, and was tasty enough that more were ordered. They were out of cream of crab. Apparently this is common for Sundays, and I'll accept that, but if a place consistently sells out of an item on a specific day, I feel like maybe they should make more on that day, but Crabtowne certainly isn't hurting for making more money. I ended up eating the hush puppies that came as a side with Jeremy's Scallop and shrimp dish. They were exactly what I needed in life. Perfection. Jeremy also gave me a taste of both the scallop and a shrimp, both were beautifully cooked. The kind of thing that you wish you could just sit there and eat for an hour, but you only get 5 of each. I also ate his mashed potatoes, which were fine, but could have used a sauce, gravy or something to loosen them. He also got a cheeseburger, which I did not taste (so it must have been good because it disappeared before I realized I should ask for a taste) and some VERY good fries. I actually didn't pay much attention to what our friends ordered or how much they enjoyed their meals. That tells you how good the drinks were, I guess. None of us ordered anything crabby, but I had a great time anyway. Thanks for the recommendation, Josh.

Came here to catch up with my cousin while visiting Maryland. Good food and great service! There's also an arcade attached but I didn't get a chance to stop by. It's definitely worth checking out especially if you want some crabs.

I'm going to be honest with this review... and this review, is for MY cousins (iykyk).... there wasn't much, if any of US at Crabtowne. Anyway - this place, for what it was, was decent.To be straight forward, I probably wouldn't return. The mussels were average - layered in a white sauce that wasn't bad, but wasn't.. good ya know? Just ehh, okay. The calamari was good, crunchy. And the suggested crabcake sandwich, weird. Not in taste per say, but aesthetic lol. See attached pictures. All in all, not a bad place.. but not a place I'd suggest to return to. There's many places to visit - with uh, some more cousins around.

Good seafood and good fun!!! Family enjoyed the All You Eat crab and crag leg special. The Mac and Cheese was a hit with my 5 year old and the hush puppies were good as well. Will be returning soon. read more

Crabtowne is the place for crab in the area. The place is pretty busy but just eat at the bar which usually has a few spots open. The arcade in the back is great with all the classics, a little more maintenance needs to be made on the arcades, some where not working and others were not 100%. Service is good, but since it's so busy it's hard to be great as well. Overall great place for chowing on some crab! read more

This place surprised me when I ate here - food is really good, especially breakfast. They have some of the best omelettes I've ever had. Service can be slow, but all the servers are very nice. Have the best happy hour I've ever seen (dollar shots of fireball, 1.75 natty bo). I suggest giving it a try (it is a laid back non upscale establishment). Also has a pretty sweet arcade. read more

The crabs were pretty good for all you can eat. I enjoyed myself. The waitress was attentive and pleasant. The happy hour prices are a great deal. I will be back! I would've given this place 5 stars for the food alone but the untidy restroom took away from the overall experience. read more

Had the best experience here tonight. Awesome service and fantastic food at a great price! Darlene was great and gave us a great welcoming when we walked in and our server Mark was phenomenal! And Ashley made us all great drinks. I was impressed with the family friendly environment and cool arcade. Our order came out quickly, was cooked to order, and was hot. CrabTowne is a must try if you're in the area or looking for awesome vintage video game fun. The staff was friendly, the vibe is kind of "divey" but it is clean and family friendly as another reviewer has said. Where else around here has all you can eat crabs?? Definitely will be returning. Only taking away one star for lack of room in eating area and decor which isn't a big deal. Definite 5 star food experience though! read more

It was my very first time visiting this establishment a few weeks ago, when I was in town looking after my son. I can honestly say that my experience from start to finish was one of the most enjoyable I've had in quite some time. The service was incredible; I was personally waited on by the owner of the restaurant and she was amazing. After taking my order initially, she returned to my table to inform me that the dish I ordered would be missing a key ingredient as they'd run out, however she still offered me the dish completely comped if I still wanted it. I did decide to accept the dish and it was delicious. It was the chicken nachos platter and the serving portion was almost obscene, definitely you get what you pay for and then some. On top of that I also ordered the fish and chips, choosing the haddock as my fish of choice. The dish arrived perfectly hot and crispy with a well seasoned coating, and alongside was a yummy accompanying duo of coleslaw and tartar sauce. I also indulged in a glass of wine and their in-house made sweet tea, both were refreshing and hit the spot. All in all I would say that this place is a great little stop for a casual and comfortable dining experience with well-made food, a good variety of drinks both alcoholic and not, and top quality service. read more

The servers, especially Megan, were beyond nice and professional, especially to the incredibly annoying and difficult customer sitting three stools down from me. As a customer I wanted to slap the crap out of him, much less having to wait on him. The crab cakes were good, kudos to them for offering a homemade sauce to go with them. The side salad was made with fresh spring mix instead of plain lettuce which was nice. I also got the Maryland Crab soup which was made with plenty of crab and vegetables, it needed more old bay, but there is a shaker of old bay in the condiment caddy, so problem solved! I also highly recommend this place if you like to play Keno and other lottery. They have two terminals plus scratch offs! read more

when you pay $32 per person for all-you-can-eat crabs, you get what you pay for. piles and piles of overcooked, tiny crabs. i think they were pre-steamed and re-heated, which is always disappointing. they were dry and the old bay barely stuck to their shells. steamed shrimp (also all-you-can-eat and included in the price) was much better and more likely cooked to order. side orders were awful; frozen oven-baked fries with velveeta = "cheese fries;" hushpuppies... there were 6 of them, each the size of a spinning quarter. in a giant lined basket. okaaayyy... cream of crab soup made me ashamed of my fellow baltimore compatriots, and i can only conclude that some jerk from pittsburgh made it to make us look bad because they're jealous. :) but seriously, it sucked. the server was good, but seemed overly nervous for some reason. the boyfriends kept asking the girlfriends for dollars so they could go pleasepleasepleaseplease play the '80s-era arcade games, which i admit was a pretty cool little addition to the cafeteria-esque restaurant "ambiance." also decked out with probably more keno screens and lottery machines than tables/chairs. overall, food seemed to be a secondary endeavor in this joint, and if i ever came back, it would be to throw my boyfriend a totally sweet throwback birthday party in the arcade. read more

Skip the food. Play lots of pinball! Many of the games are only $.25. The change machines are ancient so either bring your own quarters or have the cashier count out quarters for 5 minutes. read more

Let me just say I've been going for a while. Every time I go in the staff is always pleasant. The new and improved crabcakes are amazing and the arcade is phenomenal. It's always a pleasant atmosphere from the time I walk in until the time I leave, if you have never been give it a shot. Support local owned bussiness!!!! I've ordered for take out twice here. Their crab cake is yuuummm! I am supposed to give them a 5 star, but the second time we ordered here, they messed up my soup. I ordered for maryland crab soup and they gave me a different soup. I will still give them a chance thou. This time, i will make sure my order is correct. read more

Ok, I love the salty oysters and crabmeat; they offer fresh, lump, super lump and pasteurized-all at reasonable prices. My son and I both love the old school arcade games and my Husband and I love the bar selections while we wait to get our oysters shucked to go. Customer Service is usually on point too. You cant go wrong with this spot. read more

Seafood steamer is amazing! Great prices for seafood. Get there early, they sell out of steamed crabs on the regular. The rest of the menu is just as good if they do run out. They have specials during orioles games. Well made orange crushes. read more

Don't let the reviews fool you... while service is excellent the food is terrible. The rockfish was old, tough, smelly, and impossible to eat. The rest of the food served at our table was over-breaded fried garbage. If it weren't for the courteous staff and reasonable prices I'd have given them only 1-Star. read more

I need to make a correction. The onion rings was a small bag you buy from a corner store. It is not the policy that was the issue, it was how the policy was told. The customer did not get in the door or was seated before she was told not to eat them and she was told to leave. If the approach was in a different tone or manner i would have never posted this incident. read more

Went looking for a New all u can eat crab restaurant. Our previous spot changed ownership and the quality of the Carbs diminished significantly and we were very disappointed. Went to Crabtown with one of my Daughters on 8/26/17 and by the time we were finished sitting in the car for the ride home we both agreed "this was going to be our Restaurant for all u can eat crabs." As an all u can eat fan I can eat on the average 2 1/2- 3 dozen good size crabs in a sitting. The crabs we had were Large, Heavy and very Taste. I could only finish approx. 1 1/2 doz. and couldn't finish all the Shrimp either. The service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We are also looking forward to trying other items from their menu. read more

I'm allergic to seafood, so I'm only able to give a review on the arcade they have there. Classic cabinet arcade games and lots of pinball. They stay on top of repairs. Would love to see some other classic games come in: Donkey Kong Jr., Tutankhamen, Scramble, Kangaroo, Time Pilot. I'm told the food there is really good too. read more

I have been here plenty of times and had great service on a super busy night. Today i was craving a crab cake at 6 months pregnant. They served us our waters then no one came to take our order. There was only 3 tables of people. Not very busy at all. A family came in 15 minutes after is and they were served and orders taken right away. It was oobvious no one was coming to take our order and kept walking past us so i left. Very upset and shocked by the lack of service. read more

Honestly I don't eat here, but we come for the arcade. It's a lot of throwback fun. There used to be a lot of broken games, but recently they are fixing them up now. It's a great place to have fun and spend 10-15 bucks. Can't beat it. read more

Love their all you can eat crabs! Hate that there are so few tables and the music is too close to the 30 or so tables. Live music I might add. Loved the waitress Dee Dee, she was hysterical! I've gone to crabtown since I was a kid and it's really gotten better over the years. I just wish they would get rid of some of those games and put in more tables. Also may be a good idea to just have acoustic guitar and not a drummer. Seriously could not hear yourself talking. read more

The arcade and pinball machines are awesome! My father in law loves the crabs here. I've eaten here and the food is okay, but I find the excessively over abundance of keno in the dining area a real detraction to the dining experience. The staff is friendly though. The arcade is hands down the reason it attracts me and some of my friends. Hard to find a pinball machine anywhere on location nowadays and this place has about a dozen from the 80s and 90s. read more

Food is pretty good but we mostly come here for the awesome arcade room. This is a fun place to take the kids for a cheap couple hours. They have a huge arcade room filled with all the classic arcade games and pinball machines that still take quarters or .50 cents. We bring our 13 year old and all play for just a few bucks. It's a fantastic time. Staff is super friendly and their fried baskets are pretty decent. It has a small dining room but I always see large families or group dinners. They are pretty accommodating. If you are nostalgic for old video games like the Original Donkey Kong, Mario Bros, PacMan and all the great classics, this place is a really great time. They even have ones I've never heard of like Baby PacMan. It's fun! Highly recommended if you have kids who are old enough to play arcades. You can get $5 cup of quarters and that usually lasts 2 hours. Always a fun time! Edit: I should add that being old arcade games, sometimes they don't work or eat our quarters. Just have to tell the staff and they will give you another quarter. It's no big deal and expected for these old machines. Just tell them if you have an issue. They have more than one of some of the games, so if one doesn't work, go find the other one. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE I ordered grilled Salmon and green beans with a side salad. We ordered our food to go it was a long day. I told the lady twice make sure the salmon is well done. Me telling her twice I didn't think nothing of it. We get home the salmon is raw. To far to go back I said let me just put it back in the oven. Everything was ok after that and I ate it. It's pretty tiny but somehow we ended up spending about 4 hours here, mostly because of my kids. There is a small indoor portion in the church, where there are various vendors mostly selling women's jewelry. That is about 80% of the vendors at least when I visited in 2025. There was a stand selling great olive oil and olives (both of which I purchase) and a stand selling the delicious Greek desserts I basically ate every day while I lived in Astoria, Queens (one of the largest Greek communities in the US). The ladies at the bakery were so friendly, even offering my son a cookie for free (and of course he takes the entire box!). Outside, there is another bakery (with about 4 times the size of the line), and other food stalls. We got a lamb gyro with tzatziki and it was out of this world. There is a tent with music, where some people were dancing and an occasional singer or band would rotate in and out. Also in the tent was a drink vendor where my partner and I enjoyed a glass of white wine on a very hot day. The kids were drawn to the bouncy houses, which included some traditional ones and a blow up slide. It cost $10 per child for use all day. They certainly got their money's worth! There was a sign for face painting and pony rides but I did not see either and the ladies working the desk didn't know when or if they'd actually show up. Overall, a very relaxing spot. Don't expect a huge festival but a relaxed afternoon out or evening. There is also a lovely flower vendor that is a nice place to wander or buy flowers for the spring.

Crabtowne is a solid spot if you're craving fresh Maryland crabs and a fun, casual vibe. The crabs were legit--steamed perfectly, covered in Old Bay, and packed with flavor. It's exactly what you want for a messy, hands-on crab feast. The coin arcade is such a cool bonus. It's got all the retro classics--pinball, Pac-Man, and even a few obscure games that bring back serious childhood memories. It's the kind of place where you can take your time eating and then wander over to play a few rounds while cracking jokes with your friends. Only reason it's not a full 5 stars is because the service was a little slow when it got crowded, and some of the arcade machines could use a tune-up. ..I just wanted to say that this place is great. From the service to the food. You can really see a difference in the place overall. The food is sooo good and the game room is huge. I love it because it has something to do for everyone of all ages. You can eat, drink, gamble or just play games. The staff always go above and beyond to make you feel at home. My favorite part is the owners Barbara, Darlene and Megan always make sure they offer you the best services. Very disappointing! We came with a party of 10. Called days ahead of time and we were told they don't take reservations. Upon arrival was told we should have called ahead because they don't sit more than 4 people (yes 4!) at a table without reservations, so our party would have to be split up. WHAT!?! It wasn't even busy & 3/4 of the tables were open Since we really were there for the arcade, we agreed to eat apart and meet in the arcade. LESSON LEARNED! We should have eaten somewhere else first. The food took forever, came out cold and was horrible! Our server was nice but when we tried to talk with the manager, her attitude was so rude and disgusting that we will never return! read more

My husband and I have recently discovered this awesome Crab house in Glen Burnie.... This restaurant was recently renovated and it is just a fantastic atmosphere! The crabs are the best EVERY time we go back! The wait staff is always personable and friendly.. A special shout out to Ashley, who is just simply great! Another added appeal to this restaurant is the vintage arcade that is inside and has to be seen to be believed! Heard a lot of good things about this place and had to check it out myself! I got the All You Can Eat Crabs and Shrimp....they were delicious and came out in a timely fashion. My fiancée got the two crab cakes basket, which we were informed the recipe has recently changed and we were so glad it has, very tasty and lumps of crabmeat, hardly any filler! drink specials are great during happy hour and Orioles games! Was floored when I went to buy overpriced crabmeat (40.00) and she came out with a pasteurized can you can get at any supermarket for 20 something and said it's what they use for their food. Place was like a redneck hangout to boot...complete with people hanging out on chairs outside. Don't do it. ..go a block away to seaside seafood. Much better prices and clean. My guess would be whoever is dumb enough to rate this place highly either has low expectations; never had good md crabs or probably related to someone working there. read more
