Came in with a bus tour. Called ahead with 48 passengers. They were definitely not staffed for this. Some of our group didn't receive their drinks when other people were enjoying their meal. Some peoples meal that had been served late came out cold. Extra charges for a loaded bake potato was charged as a kids meal. When the manager Jonathan was questioned about this he stated that there was an upcharge because it was a side dish. The customer paid $8.18 for a potato that should have been $3.49. When asked for a refund he refused. I gave him a choice of refunding the money or I would be writing a not so nice review. He stated "do what you must". This is after I reminded him about the 48 paying customers I just brought in. Not good customer management. read more

Well it was late in the afternoon so we had lots of room as the restaurant was not busy yet. We are able to order off of the seniors or smaller menu so the portions were fine but not huge. Which is just fine because it should be eating a huge place, but it's it's just you know a little less than your normal dinner. So two enough people have the meatloaf they said was good. we were leery coming to Cracker Barrel because of all the recent bad publicity. it's our usual stop as we travel between Chicago and Florida. We decided to go to the Adairsville Cracker Barrel and were pleasantly surprised. Luckily it hadnt been changed yet. My mother has a problem with gluten, and the manager and waitress went above and beyond to accommodate her. I have never had anyone so determined to make sure our dining experience was the best they could give us. The manager, Jonathan and our waitress Gina did an exceptional job. I've been eating here for years but over the past 3 or 4 months it's SERIOUSLY declined. Whenever I stop in to eat it's usually a 40 minutes or up to an hour wait on the food with no usual biscuits or cornbread baskets that Cracker Barrel's provides. They never have half the menu options, and the food, abysmal. The worst though is when you have an angry server, who can't contain their attitude and makes the whole experience much worse. I went to eat with my dad and my finance, and our waitress was very moody, served our coffee in styrofoam cups and didn't have half the menu but her attitude made everyone feel like we needed to eat and get out. Everyone ordered the same food I ordered, but this definitely was the last straw for me. Also I've worked in food service for almost a decade, if ANYTHING you have GOT to put customers first. Believe it or not, this was my first visit to a Cracker Barrel. The food was ok, nothing great. I had the chicken fried that was ok. The eggs did not appear to be greasy cracked. The biscuits were light and fluffy. The gravy was just ok, nothing special. The sever was outstanding as she was very attentive to my needs. Lots of ice tea refills. It's always fun coming here when you're traveling. I've been eating at Cracker Barrel restaurants for many years, and I've never ever gotten sick from eating here. The atmosphere is so cool with all of the old fashioned photos and trinkets. Service is always good, and you can count on your food being prepared just as you requested. They have a great candy section here if you have a sweet tooth like me. Lots of retro candy like Chuckles, Mars Bars and Spree. We didn't eat this time, just stopped for candy. The food here is good. Its one of the better food quality CBs. But we had a new server tonight named Allison. She was probably the best CB server that we have had in years and we eat at CBs all along the east coast. CB servers are usually very good but Allison was exceptional. We have some allergy restrictions and she did her best to accommodate us while being cheerful and friendly. We will request her every time we visit Adairsville. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Started off good, but derailed from there. Salad came out after the meal, with hot lettuce in a hot bowl. Hot food came out cold. Over medium eggs came out over very, very well. Plates were scorching hot from being left in the window. Dining room had 3 tables in it, but not a manager in sight. Asked for a manager, no one came. Finally got up and waited outside the kitchen for a manager, and was sent a shift lead, who heard our complaints but did absolutely nothing. No refills, no recooked food, nothing. Asked for a manager again, and finally, third time's a charm, got to speak to the general manager. She was accommodating and nice, but it was far too late in our lunch for apologies. We were seated right away. Our server was there in a few minutes and she was very friendly. Our food arrived in a timely manner, but it was cold. I had ordered chicken and dumplings and they took them back to the kitchen. They were hot when they came back out but dried out and tasteless. They just cannot seem to get it together. We've been ordering takeout there for years and now that they've gone to a call in center the last three times we have ordered when we have gotten there. Wooow...they really need to train better at Cracker Barrel at night. My Husband and I actually Loved coming here, we usually come in the morning/afternoon, but we came around 7:30-8pm and geez...the atmosphere is completely Different! Our waitress, didn't get her name (young female with fair skin and blondish hair) literally made us feel like we were a complete inconvenience from the very beginning. She gave me my drink and she had the straws in her hand and walked off, so when she walked my way, I kindly stopped her and ask her for one and she walked off scruffy, and gave me one with such attitude. It was Tuesday and my Husband wanted their "Tuesday" pork chops and she said "we're out" and so my Husband changed to breakfast and that completely stunned her. I don't know why? Breakfast is all day. She said "ookay" and my Husband asked for Coffee, and she said " oh, we already put up the coffee stuff" Well shoot, why serve breakfast all day then? We just couldn't stayed any longer, so we left. The whole experience was just Horrible! Never coming here in the evening! We ate at IHOP and it was Totally Worth It!! An average representation of the franchise. Although the food was pretty good, the service was extremely slow and it took multiple reminders. For example, our drinks took a long time to come out and then we had to ask for straws (especially for the little kids), and it took a long time to get them. Then our food was served and despite the long wait we were still without silverware, and we had to wait even longer. #25-2021 no change in stars was 4.5 but I gave five for the benefit upon the first review, now it's five stars fantastic breakfast. returning back here for some breakfast. there's a little bit of a walk with my bad legs from the QuikTrip truck stop to here but need to work them no pain no gain. still one of the nice things about this one the service is really good I was greeted and seated promptly and offered coffee while I perused the menu but I knew pretty much what I wanted. excellent job and social distancing as cracker barrel has done throughout the whole covid at the ones that I have visited. having been here for dinner and had a great steak few months back I went with one of my CB breakfast favorites; the blueberry pancakes with the wild main blueberry syrup which just makes it perfect MMM and sausage patties.. my server Linda rang it up to where I got the full breakfast minus the eggs cuz I didn't want any eggs. would end up being a couple bucks cheaper doing it that way I appreciated that had I done an à la carte and ordered pancakes and sausage separately. the value for the quality and the quantity of food keeps his cracker barrel really up there to where I definitely will return when I have the taste. read more

We are glad they were open. However, many staff are seen without masks or masks at chin level especially in store area. Tables are spaced and only needed items brought to table. Sat with my friend and it took 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and take our drink order. 10 minutes later the waitress showed up and took our order and left. 30 minutes later no food and our waitress had not been back to check on us.
