My wife loves this place. I had the double meat breakfast with scrambled eggs. and the bacon was nice and thick and meaty. Seems like before when we have eaten here that we were served the biscuits first almost like an appetizer but we were not his time. We use DoorDash to order dinner. Wow what a disappointment . Let me list the problems. Salad delivered without dressing. No utensils or napkins. Straws that were too short for our drinks. No butter for our cornbread. Chicken and dumplings with a couple of bites of chicken. We pass through here several times a year and order online but may not order from them again. I stopped at this Cracker Barrel on our way through Arkansas, and I must comment that it was my worst meal of 2018 to date! I didn't order anything complicated, but apparently at this Cracker Barrel it is ok to serve egg shells in the scrambled eggs and serve the bacon almost raw. When I asked for the bacon to be cooked a little longer, it came back completely burned. Even the server commented, "Oh look what the kitchen did to your bacon!" as she dumped it on my plate. When my husband commented to the cashier about the food, she said, "So sorry. Hopefully it will be better next time!" The service was extremely slow and the restrooms were dirty. We recently stopped late morning at Cracker Barrel in Bryant. We were wanting breakfast and thought this would be a good stop!! We were right!! Our server, Tiffany, was very good! Cracker Barrel is always reliable but breakfast might be their best meal. Eggs cooked right, meat well prepared and excellent apple butter!! Monday I visited the Bryant location with my sister and niece who had come down from Beebe. We had a very nice lunch. Later that day I received a call from my apartment complex saying that someone from Cracker Barrel called and said I left my wallet there. I didn't even realize that I didn't have it. I had gotten it out to show my sister that I had gotten a new Betty Boop wallet. I thought I had put it in my purse that I had under the table. Anyway, whoever called my apartment complex had recognized the address on my drivers license and called. What a wonderful thing to do! It had all my cards and IDs in it. I would have been in such a mess without. I will be forever grateful to whomever called. And I will continue to patronize this location of caring people and good food. read more

I used the new app to place a curbside order. I received an email to click "I'm here", received confirmation they received and food would be out shortly. Order was supposed to be ready at 7:15, at 7:35 still didn't have order. I called the Bryant Cracker Barrel and the lady asked if I had checked in thru email, I told her yes. She told me that I needed to call when I was there that they never receive the emails, it doesn't work. Now how in the world would anyone know that and why aren't the workers checking on the customers in the curbside parking spots? It's been almost an hour since I place the order. Don't come here on Thanksgiving. Any other time you might get a decent meal and have an acceptable dining experience, but on Thanksgiving it's pandemonium. The hostess skipped our name on the list, and we've now waited almost two hours for a table. Because it's a holiday, the restaurant won't do anything to fix a mistake that would normally warrant at least an apology from the manager. When we inquired how much longer we'd have to wait, the hostess curtly informed us that she had no idea, possibly two hours if that's how long it took for a table to become free. Cracker Barrell could resolve these scheduling issues if the chain implemented reservations for holidays, but that would be too progressive for them. Stay home if this is your only alternative on the holiday. For the quality of the food, it's not worth the angst. read more

Great service, wonderful atmosphere, okay food. I ordered a Reuben because I'm not the greatest fan of Cracker Barrel's food. It was grilled perfectly and had plenty of cheese, which is nice because most places are stingy with the cheese. It was a little dry but I'm sure I could have asked for more sauce. We had been traveling all day and wanted a hot meal. We arrived at 8 pm. The store closes at 10. Everything about our visit said that they wanted to close and were annoyed about us being there. Our waitress was not friendly and seemed annoyed. When ordering they were out of several items including the special and white gravy. Several things on the menu come with white gravy. We got our food only to discover that it was cold and inedible. When my grandma sent back her ham due to it being too tough to even cut, the waitress was very short with us. We did not receive refills and the tea was so light it looked like water. The employees were preparing to leave and even swept around us while we ate. We were very uncomfortable and upset and did not even eat our food. We do not recommend this Cracker Barrel if you want a decent meal. read more

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and, needless to say, the place was packed. The whole experience did not start well, but it ended well. To start, the young lady taking our name almost tried to talk us out of eating there. She said, "We just got two tour buses, so it's going to be a 25-30 minute wait" and just looked at us like she was expecting us to leave. When I said, "That's fine," she shrugged her shoulders and wrote our name down. Next, when we were called to hostess station, the young lady who took us to our table was apparently having a bad day. She said, "Follow me." Then put our menus and silverware on the table and walked away without another word. I was getting concerned that the whole visit was going to be tarnished because of those two tour buses. Then, our server came to greet us. Her name was Rylee. She was a breath of fresh air and singlehandedly salvaged the entire visit. She was very polite and even cheerful. Unlike our first two encounters with Cracker Barrel employees that afternoon, Rylee made us feel like welcome and valued guests. To me, personally, that goes a lot further than just good food at good prices. Our order was taken and came out perfectly just 10 minutes later. It was hot and delicious. Our glasses never got below half empty (or half full for my optimist friends). The other employees should learn a valuable lesson from Rylee. The customer is the one making this job possible. Treating each one with professionalism and common courtesy will go a long way. read more

Forgot my biscuits & cornbread with my meal, then gave my mother grits and white gravy with her breakfast which wasn't what she ordered. Very bland and watered down food. We did not have a great experience. Two people got the wrong food, we did not get any biscuits or cornbread until after we started eating. The waitress spilled tea on me and I ordered a chicken fried steak and they ran out of white gravy and didn't offer anything else so I had to eat a dry chicken fried steak. I at least wish they would have told me before that they were out of gravy so I could have ordered something else. This is the second time I have eaten here and the first time was similar to this. This is the last time I will invest 2.5 hrs at the Cracker Barrel. read more

We eat here occasionally & it's always good, whether eating in or takeout. The staff is nice. Service might be slow on a weekend night, but that's not out of the ordinary. Food on my tea spoon, cold food, chicken fried steak tasted frozen & the 2nd steak was soggy even where there was no gravy. Waitress was rude & didn't care. What a great breakfast! I arrived around 9 am and there was still a fair amount of people eating and milling around. I ran to the restroom before being seated and it was very clean. Good sign. As soon as I approached the hostess stand the manager appeared and seated me. Very friendly guy. Took my drink order and my food order on return. Before I could hardly thumb through the comics my food appeared. Exactly as ordered. I had a Double Meat Breakfast and was it delicious. It comes with three eggs which I ordered scrambled. Personally I have a hard time getting eggs out I really enjoy but these were perfect. Not wet and not runny. The bacon was crisp without being overcooked and the sausage was neither greasy nor dry. It came with two biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were perfect, warm and fluffy. For me personally I prefer just a little more spice to my gravy. It was a very mild sausage gravy and was very good, just a touch mild for me. It only occurs to me now, I could have added my own pepper. Next time. The grits were a little thin for my personal taste but I make mine extra thick. Strictly personal preference. They had a good flavor. The soda was very good. The service was excellent. Halfway through my meal the regular waitress took over for the manager and never missed a beat. The meal was excellent, the service seamless. Great attitudes all around. The gift shop was well stocked. I especially liked the display of fun sodas. The cashier was especially friendly. I really enjoyed the whole experience and I will be back. Soon. read more

First let me say, I love Cracker Barrel. I currently don't live within 100 miles of one, so when my husband and I stopped Bryant, AR on our way home from vacation, I was very excited. But that didn't last....obviously, Cracker Barrel is no longer taking pride in the appearance of their restaurants as the parking lot and rest rooms were untidy. We were seated quickly although I think the hostess would have rather been doing anything else. Our waitress was prompt getting to the table and taking our drink order. When she returned to take our food order, I was told that they were out of meatloaf, the very thing I was excited about getting! So, I chose another dinner plate. My husband asked that the biscuits and cornbread be brought out immediately. We didn't see our waitress again until she brought our dinners and the breads as well. She never returned to our table to offer drink refills and did not ask if we wanted dessert when she brought our check. We did get to hear her converse rather loudly with 2 ladies a couple of tables over regarding she and her boyfriend and how they were working out visitation with each of their respective ex.s...So on to the check out..2 twenty-something young men, never asked how our meal was, if we were satisfied or had any complaints,too busy teasing each other and then just told us the amount of the check and asked if we wanted our receipt. Also had a Cracker Barrel employee who I assume was off the clock reach around me to grab something off of the counter, no "excuse me" or wait until we (the customer) were finished, but by this time, I expected nothing different than the way she behaved. I will continue to visit Cracker Barrels, but I hope that they go back to training there staff the high quality of customer service that I have seen in the past. read more
