two sandwiches on a plate

The kids and I frequently spend breakfast together on Sundays. We heard about Just 1 Bite Too from a friend and thought we'd give it a try since it's so close to home. Service was good. Our waitress was very attentive and quick. We didn't have anything out of the ordinary BUT the first thing I noticed when I tried my eggs was that it was cooked with butter...mmm...that extra flavor was delicious! If you didn't already notice, the pancakes were HUGE! haha It was bigger than my head lol I didn't care for the potatoes but everything else was good. Would def come back!

Today was the 1st time I ordered the pancakes. Omg they were HUGE! I immediately set 1 aside to take home. The one pancake I ate over stuffed me. I probably could have taken 1/4 of it or 1/2 of it home. Also, they had a crispy edge. There are not many places that make that happen and it made me happy. Bacon and coffee were delicious too. I will be back for more pancakes!

This diner is an example of the small gems that can go overlooked when you don't live in the area! My father and I first went to a well-known diner in the area and it happened to be closed for repairs. So we ended up here, as it was the closest diner to the first. I ordered the small fretatta, and I will say that it was more than enough food for breakfast! It was absolutely delicious, hearty, and plentiful! Our server was a complete sweetheart and very attentive. I highly recommend and I will most certainly be a repeat customer.

Quick stop before my lash appt which is across the street and ordered a cup of chili with cheese and sour cream and 2 muffins The staff is extremely welcoming and kind. If this was near home or on the way to the office I would probably stop by here every day!

Honestly, we almost didn't turn in to park. The outside made us hesitant. But, never judge a book by its cover.... This place was fantastic Our waitress was on top of it and the food was delish. Our whole party was satisfied. Highly recommend. I rated it 4/5 due to the bathrooms needing an upgrade.

Came here for breakfast with some of my family about a week ago and the experience was pretty good. First you go in and seat yourself, easy to navigate and a nice vibe to the place. The waitress was very fast in greeting us and gave good service throughout the meal. The coffee was good and the waitresses were very good about keeping the coffees full. I posted a couple of the meals we got. I got the biscuits and gravy and I felt like it was a little rich, so it was hard to eat it all. I think it is more of a meal to get and split it with someone then get something else. I also was not given toast even when the menu said it came with some. Everyone else were very satisfied with their meal. They also have very good prices for their food. Overall experience was good and I would come here again.

Looks closed for the winter. Parking lot is unplowed and a lonely car is ice-covered.

Julie's Diner on Brewerton I'm always a big fan of diner…read morefood and Julie's was just what I was craving. The restaurant was fairly busy on a Sunday morning but with a little wait time I was able to get a table for two. The tables are bit crowded when it's a full house and the interior could use a makeover. I got their waffle and scramble combo. I prefer my waffles a bit crispier and bacon a bit chewier but everything had that great diner taste. Everything was priced fairly in my opinion. The stuffed French toast was most definitely stuffed! I enjoyed the bite I got. I do wish the homefries were crispy, they were a bit soft and mushy. For my breakfast dessert I tried the red velvet muffin. It had some cream cheese filling and chocolate chunks inside as well. Good muffin and it wasn't dry. I'd recommend Julie's if anyone wanted a new diner to enjoy :)

The place was packed because it was the weekend but we were able to sit pretty quickly because we don't mind sitting at the counter. The service was fine just again it was packed & the waitresses were trying their best so it took a little bit of time for some things but in a very realistic & understandable way. My meat lovers omelette was okay. It was kind of just an egg with a bunch of meat bits in pouring out which isn't bad. Again I know they were packed but just the tiniest bit more intention would have been appreciated on that plate. The cheesecake French toast special blew my flippin' mind. That was possibly the single best French toast I've ever had. The way the cheesecake element was incorporated was almost like a sauce poured over the French toast. The fresh strawberries, whipped cream & graham cracker dusting made me feel like I was eating a piece of cheesecake but in a whole new way. I would go back just if I knew that French toast was on special again.

I love the loaded potato omelette and I always try different French toast or pancakes with whatever toppings they have available. They usually have specials going on and I really enjoy switching it up each time. Just a heads up that this is a cash only place, so make sure you bring cash with you. They do not have an ATM inside, but there is a bank around the corner if you need to take money out. I absolutely adore this place and it is definitely one of my top breakfast spots every time I come back to town.

I arrived late morning and they were pretty slow so I was able to order right away. They have a fun seasonal latte menu, which I always love. I tried to get their lumberjack latte but they were out of maple, so I opted for the sugar cookie latte, which was a warm, vanilla, cup of comfort. For my breakfast, I was hoping to get their oatmeal, but they were also out of that (I get it, it was after 10am) so I opted for an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Their breakfast sandwich comes on delicious rustic bread--it was a dream. It was flavorful and delicious. The service was kind and quick and their prices are reasonable. Get to it!

My go to is the cappuccino. To me is like judging a good Italian restaurant by how good they make a lasagna. To me, Kubal might get the edge over Recess for its distinct taste, but it's close, in the end you cant go wrong with either one. I'll give Recess the nod on ambiance, much more comfy and inviting. If you are bouyei with your coffee, give Kubal a try. It's a solid option.
