Decided to step out of my comfort zone and go for a nice big diner breakfast with my husband this morning. I am usually an omelette or breakfast sandwich kind of girl when we are out. I was pleasantly surprised by this little place that I pass by all the time and have never given a thought. Their menu is huge and portions plentiful. I ordered the biscuit and gravy served with sausage and poached eggs on top of a very fluffy biscuit, with home fries on the side that were nicely crisp. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The gravy was very creamy and not to thick. My husband said the Belgian waffle was crusty on the outside and fluffy on the inside, a perfect combo. Ambiance is a typical diner so nothing fancy, but they don't have to be. Adam does a great job in the kitchen and the hostess/server was very attentive. It's a nice little local place in the village of North Syracuse worth a try. They are open 7-2pm and we ate at 8am. Only about 5 tables occupied but let me tell you at 9am the flood gates opened. Service was fast and the refills of coffee non stop. In addition to the menu they listed about 10 specials on their board, and they make many of their own desserts. They also have a small wine & mimosa list if you'd like to imbibe. read more

When you walk in the place is very big but they must have had a water issue. There was a section blocked off and tiles on the ceiling missing along with large trash cans everywhere to catch leaks. There was one young lady who was hustling and super nice but our sever was awful! She got our drink order wrong and when she brought my daughter's chocolate milk the cup was half full. We had to ask twice for creamer for our coffee which was about 10 minutes before we got the creamer which came in a glass. Once she took our order, we waited 40 minutes for our food and she only came to check on us once which was 5 minutes before the food came out. The food self was not great. The potatoes were cold and my eggs Benedict was very salty. My husband's French toast was mush. The place did not look clean and the bathrooms were horrendous. My daughter had to go to the bathroom and she plugged her nose the whole time. It smelt awful and just not clean. I was very upset that I chose to eat at this place since the one they had in north Syracuse was actually very good but they have gone way downhill! I DO NOT reccomend this place. read more

The kids and I frequently spend breakfast together on Sundays. We heard about Just 1 Bite Too from a friend and thought we'd give it a try since it's so close to home. Service was good. Our waitress was very attentive and quick. We didn't have anything out of the ordinary BUT the first thing I noticed when I tried my eggs was that it was cooked with butter...mmm...that extra flavor was delicious! If you didn't already notice, the pancakes were HUGE! haha It was bigger than my head lol I didn't care for the potatoes but everything else was good. Would def come back! read more

Today was the 1st time I ordered the pancakes. Omg they were HUGE! I immediately set 1 aside to take home. The one pancake I ate over stuffed me. I probably could have taken 1/4 of it or 1/2 of it home. Also, they had a crispy edge. There are not many places that make that happen and it made me happy. Bacon and coffee were delicious too. This diner is an example of the small gems that can go overlooked when you don't live in the area! My father and I first went to a well-known diner in the area and it happened to be closed for repairs. So we ended up here, as it was the closest diner to the first. I ordered the small fretatta, and I will say that it was more than enough food for breakfast! It was absolutely delicious, hearty, and plentiful! The food was delicious and the server was very polite. The only complain was the table. If you're going to seat people on top on the exit at winter you need to be more attentive to where they stand and shutting the door. Having people stand with their asses in our faces while freezing from the open door really put a damper on the experience. Just remove that table. Came here for breakfast with some of my family about a week ago and the experience was pretty good. First you go in and seat yourself, easy to navigate and a nice vibe to the place. The waitress was very fast in greeting us and gave good service throughout the meal. The coffee was good and the waitresses were very good about keeping the coffees full. I posted a couple of the meals we got. I got the biscuits and gravy and I felt like it was a little rich, so it was hard to eat it all. I think it is more of a meal to get and split it with someone then get something else. I also was not given toast even when the menu said it came with some. Everyone else were very satisfied with their meal. They also have very good prices for their food. Overall experience was good and I would come here again. read more

My new favorite breakfast spot! I tried it out this morning, my boyfriend and I loved our meals. I had a Belgian waffle with home fries and sausage. He had a short stack with hash browns and sausage. We both enjoyed our meal and even brought some home. The portions are more than enough and super affordable. I used to go here at least once a week with friends, but haven't been been there in a while. We always had great service and great food. This morning I went with my fiancee and 2 friends, I couldn't have been more disappointed. The two servers working were pleasant and sat us quickly. We placed our orders which was breakfast food. We got our beverages and that's went it went south. My one friend's soda was flat, we were served coffee but never got refills for half an hour even though the sever had promised to be right back. Our food arrived after 45 mins. My one friend's food was stone cold (sausage gravy and biscuits). My order was supposed to have bacon inside, but Instead had pepperoni and the hashbrowns we're undercooked. My other friend's eggs were way undercooked and had to be sent back. One server disappeared in the back for almost 10 mins. and the other one put on gloves, grabbed a spray bottle and she went into the men's room for 5 mins. When both severs reappeared neither was wearing their mask. Overall I was just surprised that the whole experience was just not good. read more

First time guests, local family members recommended it due to location. The wait time for a table for 5 was short, even during peak hours on Sunday. Prices were fair. Food was awesome! Open since October, this was originally a second location of the popular Salina St diner, but now is a replacement, as the Salina St location is closed. The diner is lovely, with a small upstairs area and a small downstairs area, both are attractive and cozy. My husband and I went in for a late breakfast on a week day. The service was friendly and attentive, and they never let our coffee cups get empty. The food was attractively presented, and hot and delicious. We are so happy to have this nice establishment closer to home and look forward to returning. read more

I went to college at Oswego State for a couple years and every time I would be on the way home for break or driving back up, I would always stop here. Service is always good and the food is great! The waffles and burgers are good, but surprisingly the Haddock seems to be the best thing on the menu. It always tastes fresh, despite being 5 hours away from the Atlantic. Heck, it's just as good if not better than at most seafood places in New England! Will be back whenever I'm in the area again! read more

Ever feel robbed? Wish I chould give less than 1 star. Worst experience I've had in a long time. The $10 club sandwich, which doesn't come with fries, is a slap in the face. Non- toasty thick bread slices that are dry and lacking flavor and filling. A couple fatty pieces of bacon, not even 2 full deli slices of turkey on the whole thing, (seriously) tomato, not even enough lettuce, and dry. Add $2 for a tiny, insulting order of fries, and gravy on the side was $2.25? Ridiculous. I'll never go here again, and any time I drive by, I'll warn whoever I'm in the car with the same. Tried this place for a late breakfast. I tried their small frittata. There was nothing small about it, which was good. There was plenty of potatoes, fresh peppers, egg, sausage and pepperoni. My dad had a nice creamy turkey soup and a side salad. He was pleased. My little guy had chicken tender and fries. Another big portion. Prices are very reasonable. They had a bunch of seasonal specials on the board that looked good. Service was very good. The 2 waitresses that helped us were very friendly. I will be back. read more

Went here while on a trip to Syracuse, we chose it because of their extensive gluten free menu, it was extremely busy and a girl informed us that it might take a little longer for our food, we weren't in a hurry so it wasn't a problem, I ordered the French toast special with bacon and coffee, it didn't seem like it took any longer than anyplace else and my meal was absolutely AMAZING, it was the best French toast I've ever had, including ones that were not gluten free, I will definitely be going back anytime I'm in Syracuse, the food was great, service was great and the prices were good as well, they didn't even charge extra for the gluten free bread which everyone else does, this is a new favorite. read more

First time I was there, it took 45 minutes for my breakfast to get to me. The plate looked great, the food was delicious. The only suggestion I have is not putting so much honey butter next to the hot french toast. This makes the last piece too sweet because it's sitting in the melted honey butter. Second time I was there, my fretta came out in a reasonable amount of time. It looked great again. The reds are red, the greens are green. The only suggestion I have is if using seasoned potatoes in a dish and then it's seasoned again. This would make it overly salty. The outside could use some work, but the inside looks great. Okay, so my dad and I decided we wanted to grab a bite to eat before we had to grab my brother from school. We went in at 12:40 and ordered at 12:50. All we ordered was simple breakfast food, nothing too exciting. We didn't get our food until 1:40. The food should have taken no longer than 20 minutes AT THE MOST to come out. We were actually on our way out the door by the time our waitress brought the food to us. My dad and I were just tired of waiting that long for our food to come out and decided we were going to leave. On top of that, all we got was a simple "so sorry about that" from our waitress. Not once while we were waiting for our food did she come over and ask for our drinks to be refilled, nothing. We went there on a Friday night for dinner and it was busy. I think the waitress was a little overwhelmed but she was friendly and we weren't in a hurry. I ordered a haddock sandwich and onion rings, the wife an Asian salad and my son went with an Italian omelette off the breakfast anytime part of the menu. The fish was great and the sandwich was very large. Onion rings were tasty though I don't know if I think the 5-6 I got justified the upcharge. My wife enjoyed her salad and brought half of it home. I think the omelette stood out and I think this place specializes in breakfast. Large with lots of fillings. We'll go back and probably for breakfast. Prices were in line with other diners. read more
