I got my CB fix and it did not disappoint. The momma's breakfast is my go to meal. I always get 3 pancakes , bacon & hashbrown casserole. Omg it's so good all the time & I have leftover pancakes every time. My server was spot on & efficient. I can't forget about their yummy peach mimosas. They hit the spot every time. Yelp! I was craving Pancakes with that CB butter and brand syrup! That's what I got too. Bae and I stopped in for breakfast after a doctor's appointment. I had to check out all the clearance before being seated. Found some shades and earrings, y'all stop playing, CB gots some of the best kept secrets in town called Merchandise. lol. I love it. Restaurant was not even half full and the food for seven took close to an hour to come out and we didn't even get it all, and our server was quite sassy but nice. The food that we did get tasted and looked like they just slapped it on the plate and didn't even try to present or cook it right at all. read more

We came in yesterday for a family gathering and the service here was amazing. They told us there was a 30 minute wait but we were seated so much faster. The host showed us our table and made us feel comfortable. Our waitress was amazing. She took six orders without writing them down and they all were correct. I ordered the sampler with pancakes, smoked sausage, hash brown casserole and lightly scrambled eggs. This is the first Cracker Barrel that has gotten my order correct the first time and the food was cooked to perfection. my pancakes were fluffy with the crispy edges that i love. my sausage wasn't over cooked and was real juicy. i will make the 40 minute drive just to come back and get great service and great food again!!!!! read more

This place is the worst, when we walked in the two tables next to ours told us to leave, we should have listened, our food never came and then we found out it was delivered to the wrong table and they just ate it because they told us they had been waiting for forever, the other table in our section informed us their food was served cold and another table was arguing with the manager about their food when we were leaving. When are food made it an hour and half later it was horrible and unedible. I had to pull over and throw up on the ride home, thanks Cracker Barrel, you have lost a life long customer. read more

Met family from Huntsville to celebrate my birthday! Everyone was wonderful, great food, sweet, efficient waitress and just 5 stars for all!

Had birthday dinner for my mother-in-law. We had 10 attending and we were seated at a reasonable time. I had the trout with turnip greens and fried apples. Meal was good. They still don't have real hot sauce. They have Tabasco and chipotle which neither is my cup of tea. I used the pepper sauce. It was as ok but not like Louisiana or Franks. Anyway, the half and half tea was good. Half tea and half lemonade. The waitress took good care of us. The temp is really cold. I had to go outside after I ate. Too cold for me. read more

My fiancée, her parents and I stopped at this particular Cracker Barrel last Friday afternoon while we were heading to Walker, Louisiana. I am big fan of CB, since my parents and I use to at CB all the time when I was little. I got my usual meal of chicken fried chicken and my fiancée got the same thing; since she couldn't make up her mind and likes to copy my meal orders. Her parents both got the Friday special meal....which was the fish lunch/dinner meal. Got food overall and the service was great. Couldn't find any Grandpa Pine Tar Soap in the gift shop....but I did find an Elvis Presley cup. So that made me happy. read more

My spouse and I go for dinner at around 7:30 pm. Not many customers but still enough to keep 3 servers busy. We ordered and then waited for about 30 to 40 minutes. Paisley, our server came by and apologized for the wait. She finally came by and said she would prepare our food herself and apologized for the slow kitchen. Within 10 to 15 minutes we had piping hot food that was prepared perfectly. So this review is less about Cracker Barrel and all about Paisley. This place has always been a solid choice for me. First off, the staff was very friendly, and so was my server. I got my drink promptly and the biscuits that went with my order. As for my order, it was the bacon and hashbrown casserole, which was quite tasty. As for the restaurant, it is like any other cracker barrel, except this one is always well-kept. And, of course, country music is playing. The music is nice and quiet but will not drown out conversation, which is a plus for anyone who brings along friends and family. If you want good food and a relatively peaceful place to eat, I recommend this cracker barrel for Breakfast. read more

Very disappointed on out visit on Sunday afternoon. No bussers, manager did nothing to help two poor waitresses covering the entire area. Hostess sat at her station doing nothing to help situation. We had no utensils, water or our drinks, bread nothing for 15 minutes. Waitress was sweet and trying her best. Food took 30 minutes and finally utensils. The management needs to learn efficiency is in all employees doing jobs that need doing. Two hostesses but none picked up slack by distributing utensils, napkins, water or even bussing tables! Had a very good meal on Easter. I had chicken tenders, carrots, and loaded mashed potatoes. I also tried the new cherry lemonade. All were very good. We came in Easter Sunday after a terrible shift at work. Barbara was our waitress and she was absolutely AMAZING. She was so sweet and helpful. She really hooked us up with early morning mimosas. The strawberry mimosa is *makes French smooching noise and does the hand gesture*. Seriously, don't even waste your time with the traditional orange juice mimosas (Barbara tried to tell us that the strawberry was best, but we had to try both). I will say, that the orange juice in the mimosa was fresh squeezed, which was nice, but it was also why it wasn't as sweet a mimosa made with the super sugary orange juice you can get from the grocery store. We did not have to wait long to be seated or for our food and drinks to be served. It was a little crowded that morning with it being Easter so we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly everything came out. Words cannot adequately describe how delicious and fresh the food was. We each got a Country Boy Breakfast and had multiple substitutions and upgrades. Barbara could have been irritated with us (heck, I would have been), but she was delightful. Everything came out perfect. The steak was cooked to an exact medium rare. Everything we ordered with extra cheese (yes, we're nurses and still eat like we don't know the risks of a high fat diet) actually had cheese on it! The hashbrown casserole was loaded all the way and delicious (I would pay some serious cash for that recipe, Barbara...). I believe this will be our new after work breakfast spot as long as we can sit in Barbara's section. She really made the experience great. She kept our glasses filled and swiftly removed the empty plates/glasses from our table without interrupting our breakfast date. She was personable and knowledgeable about the menu (she knew the exact up charge prices for adding cheese to grits and getting loaded hashbrown casserole vs standard, etc.). It was impressive. Grabbed this breakfast on my way home. It was cheesecake pancakes with strawberry syrup and strawberries, scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, biscuit beignets, and orange juice. It was delicious! I have had the pancakes from this location before, but I decided to try the chicken sausage and beignets for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised by both! They were delicious. I gave four stars because the eggs were okay, but could have been better. I also think is ridiculous to charge extra for cheese in the eggs. We arrived at the Glendale, AL Cracker barrel after driving 8.5 hours at 9 PM. We went and waited at the host stand for 10 minutes and no one came to seat us, several waitress looked at us and continued on their way. I asked the cashier if we were to late for dine in and she said no and talked to someone on her radio but no one ever came to seat us after 15 minutes we left to find somewhere else to eat. I tend to travel down to Montgomery for work quite a bit, and I have always passed this Cracker Barrel on the way down. So, on my way down here I decided to pull off and give it a shot. Parking lot wasn't packed, and the wait time for getting seated was a quick five minutes. Great start for the evening, unfortunately that's about the hight of it. When I got seated I was surrounded by other patrons that I know where there a lot longer than me, saying that they were out of tea, however they have been waiting for 25 minutes just for someone to take their order etc. This was the omen if I saw it, so I started my watch just for fun and began the wait. Multiple servers came around and delivered biscuits, finally took drink orders, and slightly mingled with the table next to me. Not to my surprise I was avoided like the plague, which at this point I had only been sitting for around five minutes. So nothing major right now compared to the other players I had just joined in the waiting game. Fast forward about 20 more minutes and I'm a bit bored and also been passed by staff multiple times. Even after I built my slightly leaning tower of "Pleeeasa notice me". Got a few comments from the kids, but still no luck from the wait staff. Thankfully on par with everyone else, I got waited on by a shy but friendly waiter who confirmed that I was ready to order. Which was great and to the point. After taking my order, he kindly asked if I wanted him to take down my tower or leave at is. I told him he could do as he felt, and thus the tower disappeared. While I was waiting, it had occurred to me that my waiter hadn't even asked me if I wanted cornbread or biscuits. Which was fine as I just took it to heart that they were out. Which was another disappointment. Finally after waiting another 30 minutes my food and drink arrived, unfortunately for me. Everything was incorrect about my order, the sweet and Smokey chicken which I had asked for extra sauce on the side for, was just basically chicken with no bacon. However to confirm this, I needed to try the sauce as I could have been wrong. This was an issue, as I hadn't even been given any utensils to actually eat my food with. I made a joke to break the tension from individuals sitting across from me who hadn't received their food yet that I would trade one chicken strip for a utensil. Of course they didn't accept my offer. After another ten minutes of waiting I finally got my utensils after asking for them. I tested the sauce that he brought out, and mentioned that this definitely didn't taste like the sauce that was on it. To which he stated it was multiple times after casting doubt, I decided it genuinely wasn't worth arguing and let the waiter on his way. Not before asking why my my hot chocolate didn't come with the whipped cream. He then questioned "You want whipped cream on that?" And I was a bit set back, as it always came with it. In fact it comes with the chocolate flavored whipped cream per the menu. This explained why he didn't know what sauce I wanted (which he relented and brought me out regular BBQ sauce to make up for the white stuff, still not correct but appreciated), he didn't know the menu all too well. Either way, I released him to go wait on other tables. The chicken itself was very good I will say, but that's just it. It wasn't what I ordered. Wonderfully though, another lady that worked there came by and I inquired to her if I could have some of the sauce I was after, to which she immediately identified the correct sauce and noticed that my order was made incorrectly. She quickly brought me back the missing bacon and the correct sauce. I finished my meal and waited for the bill for approx 20 minutes before I HAD to get up and go straight to the cashier. Leaving others that once again had been waiting for their check far before I started eating, in the dust. Talked with the cashier and let her know the situation. She then asked me where I sat and I shared that with her. I couldn't remember the waiters name so I described it to her, to her astonishment she asked "I thought you were sitting right here." As she pointed to my area. I told her in a confused looked that I indeed had sat there, only to learn that the waiter that was waiting on me, wasn't even supposed to be doing my table. Which explained why I didn't receive any utensils or biscuits, as the lady who had brought me the correct sauce was supposed to be waiting on me due to that being her group, not his. Either way, it seemed like a good sport to try and help out his team members, although you could tell that he was completely overloaded and stressed out of his mind. I didn't bother asking for a manager as it would have been fruitless as now that I look at the reviews, nothing has changed and I had places to be. Sad to say, I won't be back. I came in by myself on New Year's Eve morning. My server was Halie and she was AMAZING! They were pretty busy and I could tell a few of her customers had extra requests just from how much she was going back and forth. Despite this, she was attentive, very quick, and super nice. This is one of the best experiences I have ever had at Cracker Barrel and I hope Halie receives the recognition she deserves for all of her hard work. Hard workers are hard to find! I ordered the Old Timer's Breakfast and it was delicious, per usual. Everything was cooked the way I ordered and I have no complaints. This is a sad excuse of a restaurant. My family and I have sat for over 30 minutes waiting for our food to come out, meanwhile the place isn't even busy. The staff can be seen just standing around while they could be checking on customers, our waiter has only come by the table three times (once to take out order mind you we had been sitting there for ten to fifteen minute, the second time was to give the drinks, and the third was to give the basket of bread and re pour coffee). read more

I love coming to Cracker Barrel for their pancakes, they are just so delicious. Every visit which may be once or twice a year has its ups or downs either with the seasoning on the food, the slowness or the server. My go to all the time is pancakes with hash brown casserole and sausage patties if not bacon. This location is always crowded so we try to go around there peak time. I have not really tried other meals, but may try it and update my review if I do. I will always recommend CB breakfast pancakes. read more

I understand that due to COVID and lack of workers things aren't always as clean as normal. The ladies restroom was unclean paper all over the floor, the floor was wet (looked like someone had urinated) and without toilet paper in a couple of the stalls. I did mention it and was told someone had already reported the issue. I did not go back to check. This restaurant still had the game on the table and it was very dirty with food on the pieces (picture attached).
