My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time to celebrate our 47 th wedding anniversary. We went for an early dinner around 4:30pm on a Tuesday night. It was pleasantly quiet. The atmosphere was very pleasant. We had a very sweet waitress serve us. She was very efficient and we lacked for nothing. Our steaks and shrimp were perfectly cooked to our request. We even had enough food to take home for a second meal for home. Our waitress surprised us with a margarita glass filled with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and drizzled chocolate sauce, with a strawberry on the side. We definitely will be going back to this Longhorn location.

Website photo of Kenosha store bar area. It was a nice place. Just not great food.

Review of Kenosha Wisconsin Location on Highway 50 We arrived late on a busy Saturday night at the Kenosha, Wisconsin location on Highway 50. After sitting at the bar, we eventually received service, although the place was very crowded. The place seemed really nice & pretty clean for a busy night and fairly new location. Our server/bartender was fantastic and running the entire time we were there, which we appreciated. I have been to many other Long Horn Steakhouses in other states and was looking forward to a simple, relaxing 'mid-scale', 'casual' steak house dinner, after a long trip in a car. We ordered rib eye dinners. The salads were great, but unfortunately, the ribeye steaks were excessively salty (and extremely thin, with a lot of tenderizer). The steaks tasted as if the cook opened a salt box and doused the steaks. We couldn't and didn't eat our dinners. Two customers sitting next to me stated the same about their chicken and large steak which also tasted overly salty. We brought our concerns to the manager, who was professional but insisted, "I eat here every day, and the steaks are great." While we were quietly discussing the issue, an unknown server, whom we had seen behind the bar and had no prior interaction with, interrupted the manager to comment to us that the seasoning was a Texas rub and that "you aren't use to Texas-style steak seasoning"! . Frankly, the unknown server should have just stayed out of it. I'm in Texas often and this was no "Texas rub". This was poor cooking with tenderizer and salt on a bad cut of meat. Since we couldn't/didn't eat our dinners, the manager wiped our bill. However, when we got home, let's just say, I can eat a nail and not be effected, but we both had to spend a couple of hours in the bathrooms.

Waitress Joya is so sweet and helpful! Her recommendation of the spinach dip was on point! Would come again just to be served by her.

Today honestly hurt…read more My family and I went to Texas Roadhouse #126 expecting a normal lunch, but instead we sat there watching family after family get seated before us even though we had arrived first. I could not help but wonder if being HISPANIC had something to do with it. What hurt the most was having to remind them that we were there before everyone else, just to finally be acknowledged. The food was average, but the service was cold and disrespectful. Even the woman who brought us the food had a terrible attitude. Nobody should feel invisible while simply trying to enjoy a meal with their family. Texas Roadhouse should be better than this.

As far as the bread and butter that they are famous for, my husband liked it but I didn't. ( starting your meal with sweet doesn't seem like a good idea to me) Fried pickles were good and crunchy ( although a bit salty) Ribs were tender but seemed to have too much condiment My husband's steak was good and perfectly cooked We had trouble with the sides as they were honestly not good The creamy corn was just watery The Caesar sals flavorless and the only seven thing was just the baked potato. We could come back but only if there are literally no other options around. Prices were good too

Even on a busy day (Saturday morning), the wait was only about 10 minutes, and the hostesses were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Our server, Joey, was excellent! Polite, attentive, and impressively accurate with our entire table's order. With a party of five, that's no small feat! Every meal came out exactly as ordered, and the food was outstanding. Everything was cooked perfectly, seasoned just right, and absolutely delicious. The fresh fruit bowl was sweet and flavorful, our omelette portions were huge, the lemonade was refreshing, and the iced coffees were the perfect complement to brunch. What really stood out was the value. Feeding a group of five can add up quickly, but The Mad Rooster delivered high-quality food, great service, and generous portions at a very reasonable price. We know there's also a Milwaukee location, but we're crossing our fingers for a third location somewhere in Ozaukee or Sheboygan County someday. We'd love to have one a little closer to home because this is definitely a restaurant we'd happily visit again and again. Highly recommend!
