This was our second time at First Watch. We were here in Dec 2024. It was ok. i recall it being better. We came here on a Tuesday morning,a little before 9. Server was friendly I ordered the Salmon Benedict.The salmon was just ok. The eggs seemed boiled, not poached They were cooked too hard and did not have a runny yolk. I thought it would come with a salad, but there was hardly any greens. I ordered fruit and some pieces were a little off. The coffee was nothing special. My husband enjoyed his pancake. His chicken sausage patty was very good. I did not complain. We had a flight to catch in Denver, so we needed to go. Maybe I expected too much. Wife N. and I are in town for a quick 5-day getaway, just to hang out here in Fort Collins, one of our favorite towns. And one of our favorite breakfast eateries: First Watch. 7am on a Thursday we hopped in for an early breakfast. I ordered the Works Omelette, and she ordered the Lemon Ricotta pancakes with some poached eggs on the side. Started with breakfast juices: I got the green Kale one and she their new Watermelon drink. Both were excellent. The omelette was great. The crimini mushrooms in it just gave the whole thing a lovely earthy flavor, and nicely complemented the other innards of sausage, onions and cheese. Perfectly cooked, zero brown. Her pancakes were great, fluffy, and the lemon ricotta was super tasty. Side eggs were poached perfectly, yolks plenty gooey, and a nice dusting of chives on top. Service was great (the place was mostly empty at the time). In and out in 45 minutes and we left stuffed. On with our day! read more

We went to the South College location for breakfast. We arrived around 9:30am on a Saturday morning and were seated right away. This place is so cozy, clean, and has a great vibe! The service was great; our waitress was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The food was delicious! The last 2 x I've been here, food was mediocre, and the prices are outrageous for the bland taste of the food.

The place wasn't full, that means no rush for the waiters, our waiter ( long ponytail) drop coffee when he was serving and I asked for some napkins to clean I explained why I need it, but he didn't apologize o clean it, he just dropped the napkins at the table and left ( again the place it wasn't full why the rush!), the food it was plain of flavor plus no cheese or cream at top of my chilaquiles bowl, no meat ( we went to the Loveland location the day before and asked for the same dish, big difference!!!, ) The ambiance was little tense because the waiter actitud. Today we went in here with our toddler and our baby for breakfast, which was absolutely delicious. But while we were there our baby had a blow out. His little onesie was a hot mess so I just threw it away. (There was a dedicated garbage can so I felt okay doing that). On my way out a waitress saw him and said she had an 11 month old and she felt my pain. I laughed and told her his onesie was now in the trash. She laughed too, but a few minutes later she stopped by our table and GAVE US A NEW ONESIE! I was shocked! It was such a kind gesture! Best service I think I've ever had. read more

Ordered breakfast to be delivered via Uber Eats. Knowing that First Watch never puts much cheese on anything that states that it comes with cheese, I paid almost $2 more for EXTRA CHEESE. Do you think Forst Watch took their tight grip off of their bag of cheese, even though I paid extra? Nope. Same dry cheese deprived dish. I think I've learned my lesson with them now. Ate at First Watch on Lamay in Fort Collins. I was much appreciative to server Mattie for helping me choose a yummy meal. It was delicious except for the side of potatoes that was burnt. This was my first time in since first watch bought out egg and I. Egg and I used to be my husband and my breakfast spot for Sunday morning any time he was in town that is what we did. we were both incredibly sad when it was no longer egg and I. their menu changed a lot. My husband went one time after the change over and he didn't enjoy it so we never went together. This morning i was trying to go to breakfast at urban egg with my son. He finally had a couple of hours off. We were really sad that urban egg was not open but was happy this place was open. I called to see if we could make a reservation. They said it was slow at that point but i could make a reservation by going to their website and making one that way. I didn't want to do that. If I could have made one on yelp i would have. But its okay. we got there and we were seated right away. The service was friendly. out waitress was very peppy and happy. They have a few gluten free options, but if you are vegan its a little tougher. i ordered a "kale cooler" juice. you can either get with ice or no ice, not light ice like i used to order. Then i put together a breakfast for myself. I ordered the vegetables that they have sauteed - mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, and a few other things that i can't remember. Had them mixed with their potoatoes. It is similar to what I used to order all the time at egg and I. But back in those days the staff knew us and they knew what i wanted. The food was good however and came up in a decent amount of time. You can't send your payment with the waitress. You have to go and stand in line to pay at the front desk. The line to pay was a little long today and took awhile to get through. not sure if somone was having a problem on payment? training? or if it just usually takes awhile to check out. read more

Brian Sword was AMAZING. He is the GM at the Oakridge First Watch location. We were having major trouble with the online ordering platform and so I had to call the restaurant. He was the one who answered. He was KIND, understanding, did not get defensive about the problem and in the end was over the top generous. A great place for breakfast. I'm sure lunch is good as well. Clean dining room. Great service ever FW I've been to and we have been to at least 5 different locations. All have been top notch I love the million $ bacon. I Love the lemon ricotta pancakes, I love the juices. Well I love everything and the COFFEE is good. Has taste and flavor. I hate restaurants coffee that is colored water/ no flavor but that's one thing I know about FW. Good coffee. Good coffee is important to me. read more

Needed some grub so my niece brought us here. I was debating on lunch or breakfast but the chorizo green Chile omelette caught my attention. It was good but basically all green Chile and onions. No cheese. Not sure I saw any chorizo in it. Lots of avocado inside. The toast was delicious but the side of greens was just that. Just greens, no dressing. My son got the barbacoa Benedict quesadilla and it was fabulous. I think a crispy tortilla taco shell would have been better than a quesadilla but it was still yummy. The sauce had amazing flavor. My niece enjoyed her bowl and enjoyed every last bite. read more

Eat at First Watch 4-26-2025. Had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated. Food was okay, server time about normal. Place was packed. If you want a quiet place to eat on a Saturday or Sunday morning, forget this place. My only real disappointment was the loud annoying pop music. I mentioned the music to the manager and he said that he could not shut the music off as it piped in from corporate. Lame excuse! This restaurant is on south college. read more

Great brunch place. Service was fantastic. Plenty of parking. We tried a few things. The breakfast tacos were fresh and tasty. The chickichanga was fabulous. The Cobb salad was simple and the club sandwich had some cold turkey in it. The morning meditation juice was the bomb. We'll be back for more. When I first tried this place it seemed great, but overtime they've become rather the same, the consistent million dollar label for food/drink items is becoming to much all over the menu, my biggest complaint though is how quickly the customer service has dwindled, my co worker and I no longer feel compelled to visit after the last visit we had it was a rather unpleasant visit. I hope you change up that million dollar nonsense while also making sure customers aren't waiting forever to get a drink and be acknowledged. Good luck! read more

I had The Works omelette and as noted by others the cheese was very sparse, but also the diced ham, chorizo and bacon were very lightly present. There were plenty of grilled onions and mushrooms inside and a small dollop of sour cream on top with a spoonful of flavorless diced tomato . The diced, seasoned breakfast potatoes were good and a reasonable serving size. The buttered toast was quite good and came with a very small amount of strawberry jam. A pot of coffee was the first to come out and there were International Delight single serve creamers on the table. The coffee was good and hot and the pot held 3 mugs worth so no need to track a server for refills which was good given the server took my order and I didn't have contact with him again until I was nearly finished and he left my bill. Coffee was apparently gratis. There are better breakfast places than this establishment on S. College taking into account the food, service and atmosphere. Given no charge for plenty of coffee I guess it comes about even on value for the money, but the music was a bit loud and didn't fit a breakfast place. read more

The menu here is incredible, delicious and health-minded. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the service was slow, but I am planning on recommending this restaurant to my friends. Everything tasted very fresh, and the portions were satisfying. I've never seen so much avocado heaped onto avocado toast, and i usually hate scrambled eggs at restaurants. Overall good experience. Took about 10 minutes to be greeted by someone, I could hear the servers ask other servers, "who's got 23." I tried to stay mindful of business and restaurant etiquette, but then 10 minutes went by and I was never greeted. Got coffee, and took another 10 minutes to get oat milk for my coffee. I ordered everything at once hoping that then I could get the check without waiting. When the check arrived there was no area to tip I was kinda mind blown by that. Servers make almost nothing, and they deserve tips. I hope that First Watch pays their servers a livable wage since they don't offer the tip option. read more

I really liked this place a lot. I was looking for something that wasn't downtown fort collins and we came across this place. First watch was so beautiful and clean on the inside the server was really nice and the food was so good! I had a skillet with veggies and goat cheese! I like that they use real eggs for the scrambled eggs instead of that liquid egg stuff that places usually use. This place is a must try if your in for collins! read more

Normally love this place but hasn't lived up to expectations of late. Went in on a weekday at 11, not a busy time, as more than half the restaurant was empty. Service in general was slow, slow for drinks and slow for order taking. Food came out 30 minutes after ordering, for avocado toast and eggs. When we questioned why the service was slow on a half empty restaurant we were told because there were just a lot of orders. Prices have gone up as well and the quality has gone down. read more

I never complain about the price I pay for food and service, for I am a firm believer of you get what you pay for.... but this place is over priced for what you get. I understand that you get a great quality ingredients but it needs to be greatly prepared as well... or else might as well go to a farmers market and buy $50 worth of groceries. A great new breakfast -brunch -lunch place! My mom & i tried it while out shopping a couple weekends ago. We were so happy with our experience, that we suggested it as a mother's day destination to our family. My sis-in-law is gluten and dairy free. There were plenty of fresh gluten free dishes for her to chose from. However, the only choice of dairy free coffee creamer was flavored vanilla. Speaking of coffee, we had carafes of the hot brew and cold water, too on our table. my brother remarked that the coffee was really "European," his word for strong and flavorful. This place is so not worth it. There were lipstick stains on the coffee cups and water glasses. I ordered scrambled eggs and potatoes on my breakfast sandwich and got an egg over easy and fruit. When I asked the waitress for the potatoes she slammed the plate on the table. She never checked back to make sure all was well until we were done eating. I never write reviews unless they are good ones but this was too much to let it go by. Save your money and go somewhere else for breakfast. read more

It seems that the difficulties of soaring prices and hiring are hitting First Watch this year. The last two times I've been there the staff was amicable but forgetful. Possibly they had too many tables to serve. The food was good but where the portions used to be too much, they are quite skimpy now. I think children and seniors will leave satisfied. Many in between will leave not quite satisfied. The restaurant is comfortable, well lit. read more

I was blown away! In fact, my husband and all 3 kids asked when we could go again. The menu is diverse and has many healthy options. You know you're eating real food and not chemicals. We ordered a lot, because we couldn't resist trying things like million dollar bacon, lemon ricotta pancakes and coconut milk chia pudding. We devoured it all. My husband and I both got food poisoning after eating here. My husband's coffee cup had red lipstick all over it.

Great breakfast. Everything was very fresh. Pomegranate Sunrise and Mimosa were amazing. Quick service. We will definitely be back.
