I owe a huge thanks to Grant, the manager; and the entire staff. My dining experience was absolutely 5 Star! The food was Amazing! I have tried calamari repeatedly and never been happy, until I had it there. It was perfect. Crunchy tender and absolutely the best I've ever had. The other appetizers were excellent as well. My cousins loved their cocktails and the iced tea was exactly the way I like it. The ambience was relaxed and fun, we were laughing and having a great time; as were the other guests. Not impressed at all. Empty at 630 pm. Glass on front doors is filthy. Served warm food and sent back and food was just rewarmed under broiler so basically served leftovers. Went on a Sunday for lunch, only four tables with guests, one waitress, one cook. Service was very slow. Took forever to get our salad and of course the main course came quickly after the salad. Had the steak, chicken, ravioli combination with an upgrade to an 8 oz filet. Food was good. Ordered the $10 spaghetti meal to take home, picture shows 3 meatballs, we only got 2. Ordered a chicken Caesar salad and my partner ordered a house salad to go with his meal. Both salads were served at room temperature. The chicken on my salad was pink in the middle and the romaine lettuce was of extremely poor quality and there was no shredded parm on top. Only lettuce, croutons, and warm dressing on the side. We used to love this place. Not now. The bread was not good and very dry. Tonight I ordered the NEW! Filet and Shrimp Toscano and it was terrible. The huge amount of pasta on the plate was cold and looked like it had been on the plate way before I ordered. It was dry and in a clump. The cream sauce was not tossed with the pasta. It was just poured on the side of the plate and also cold. The 4 shrimp were almost cooked. The 5 little slices of steak were the best part of the plate. The steak was hot and seemed cooked as ordered. I told the server that I could take this entire plate home and make it better. I paid $25.00 for this. I pretty sure I will never go back. My husband ordered a rib eye. He said it was good, but the broccoli was under cooked and the pasta side dish was cold and overcooked. Please do better Carrabba's. We love Carrabbas. We love their food. But once again, they only have one waiter who is seating people, doing take out orders, bringing drinks and bread/oil, serving food and bringing the check. I say once again because another person left this same review 3 months ago. I noticed the business manager apologizes for every low review but obviously they haven't done anything to fix this. Hadn't been here before, but got a gift card, so we went to check it out. This location was a bit old and could use a good cleaning, but nice enough. Our booth was so tight, I wasn't sure I was going to make it out after I ate. Waiter was prompt and a little manic, but attentive and had good recommendations. We went with a couple of the combo options, the classic and one offering steak Marsala. Salads were good, just a little different dressings, so make sure to ask about ingredients, so you end up with something you like. The fresh bread is amazing, so definitely ask for more and enjoy. Our meals were quite good, with more of a grill vibe than the traditional Italian home cooking other places offer. The prices are a bit more, but we felt the food quality and flavors merited the cost. Overall, a good experience, flavorful food and solid service. read more

We used to order pick up all the time, and over the last year the quality and service has plummeted to absolutely unacceptable levels. Tonight we ordered Chicken Parmesan and Lasagne, and a mozzarella stick appetizer. We drove to pick up the food at the time per our text confirmation, and waited over 20 minutes in the pick-up spot but ultimately had to go in. They forgot the mozzarella and when we noticed, they claimed they were out, but charged us anyway until we refused to pay for the appetizer that was not received. What we did get was burned, yet cold. Obviously reheated over and over. Cost? $65 for a pick up order BEFORE the 18% tip they automatically add to equal $80+. We will never be Carrabas customers again, and it's their loss--time for this outdated, overpriced, poorly managed restaurant to close their doors. So, after MANY years of not going to Carrabba's my wife and I decided to try their happy hour tonight. We have seen a lot of advertising $5 drinks and apps. We arrived to a very empty restaurant at around 4:30 PM. My first impression was that they have not ever done any renovations over the last 20 years. It was very dated. My son and his girlfriend also joined us. We ordered drinks. The Happy Hour drink menu featured a Blood Orange Margarita which the waiter said was excellent. Three of us ordered that drink. After waiting 15-20 minutes our waiter came back and told us that they were out of the Blood Orange mix and could not make that drink. We asked if we could have a regular Margarita at the same price and were promptly told that there were no deviations from the Happy Hour menu. The waiter was very curt on that point. Strike 1.... We ordered different drinks and after another 20-minute wait we were informed that the bartender was having a "bad" night and our drinks would be awhile longer. There were literally 10 people in the restaurant. Strike 2. When our apps arrived, they were underwhelming to say the least. Calamari was tiny and all batter and over fried. The Shimp Scampi app was floating in butter with little taste other than the butter. The Carrabba's ad for Happy Hour indicated a lot of drinks and apps for $5. There were none...Strike 3. needless to say, there will be no return visits to Carrabba's and I wish them luck staying in business...... read more

Review update: Today is Sunday, August 11th at 12:10pm. Decided to check out Carrabba's in Fort Collins again for lunch and give it a second chance. The first time we ate here, it wasn't a good experience for my wife, daughter and I. I only gave it a 2 star review. The managing partner name Bobby reached out to me about my first experience at Carrabba's. He was very apologetic and gave me $60 dollars credit coupon and asked me to give Carrabba's a second chance. So, here we are again..... We arrived during lunch time at 12:10pm. Again, the restaurant was dead. This time, our wait staff is Rafaella. She greeted us as soon as we arrived and walked us to our table. Rafaella was very friendly, smiley, polite and very professional. She was very attentive and made sure everything was okay with us. Great customer service from Rafaella. 5 star service. This time, my daughter and I ordered the Carrabba's classic Trio. The cost of this dish is $27.00. It comes with Chicken Parmesan, Meat Lasagna and Fettuccine Alfredo pasta. See pictures attached. Both my daughter and I agreed that it was very tasty and delicious. We both enjoyed our food this time. The only disappointment was the portion size of the food. The meat lasagna is a very small bite size portion. The chicken Parmesan is very thin(chicken breast sliced in half) and the fettuccine Alfredo pasta is just a small scoop portion. For the amount of portion, this dish was over priced for $27.00. But like I said, they were very tasty and delicious. Will we come back to this restaurant for the 3rd time? Probably! With that being said, i will give this one a 4 star. I would have given it a 5 star review but we were disappointed with the amount of portion of the food. The food came out with a horible odor. The rigatoni pasta I ordered smelled identical to vomit. This is not an exaggeration. When we brought the issue up to our server they responded promptly and went to the manager. The server then returned to the table to let us know that it smelled that way because "that's just what fennel seeds smell like". This is from the perspective of a door dash pick up. Never been to carrabas and was not sure where to enter at. You do enter the door that says delivery and then look to see if your order there. However that space is extremely small and the staff seemed slightly annoyed by my prescence. I get they were busy but i had not been in there before. Just was wondering if I was in the right spot. They told me i had to go wait outside and they would bring it to me. It was a good 10 minutes or so until the food was ready to go. That was a bit of a bummer since i had other obligations, needed to pick up my daughter. Thought it would be a in and out like most restaurants when doing pick up. Now i now. Upon arriving we were sat in a back corner by a flashing ceiling light, nothing a nice adult beverage can't solve, right ? Wrong. I don't often write reviews, so if I do then you've done something extraordinary or extraordinarily bad. In this case it was the latter. We went tonight and should have probably just left as it was so empty on a Friday night. Never a good sign for a restaurant. But it was close to our hotel so we got seated and ordered. This was a mistake. For somewhere so empty, it took OVER AN HOUR to get our food. Two of those food items were a kids' spaghetti and a pizza, which should take about 5 minutes to make at an Italian restaurant. My wife had salmon, which was undercooked and inedible. I had ravioli, which was passable. The "cooks" seemed more interested in talking to each other than cooking anything. Or waitress had to ask them several times about our meal and they seemed to think it was funny more than anything. How you can take so incredibly long to make a meal and still not cook it enough I don't know. We weren't even offered a credit for the undercooked salmon. They did offer to remake it, but we didn't have another hour to waste as we needed to get our kids to bed. This was one of the most horrible places I've ever eaten at. I still tipped the waitress normally as I don't think it was her fault, but I really hope she doesn't have to share it with the cooks.
