We love going to Cracker Barrel. We love the homestyle meals and also the shopping in their little gift shop. I hope the gift shop never goes away. We went on a very busy Saturday afternoon and all the tables were taken, but there was not much of a wait. I had the chicken and dumplings, which are always really good but no matter how many times I have this there's always either a lot of chicken and no dumplings or a lot of dumplings and no chicken. The ratios are never on. Service was great even though they were really busy.

Okay.... It's been more than 10 years since I've dined at a Cracker Barrel. I believe I was with my Mom in Georgia last time I went. I was curious so I brought it up to my Mr. since we were in the area. We dined on a Friday night and it was super busy, however we were seated right away. Our server was down to earth and got our drink orders right away. The pricing went up a little but that's everywhere due to inflation. They did expand their menu and added more lunch and dinner items. I ordered the Country Fried Steak and opted to pick two sides. Their hash brown casserole, steamed broccoli and chose corn muffins as my starch. My Mr ordered the Chicken and Dumplings with side of mashed potatoes and turnip greens. Opted for biscuits as his starch. While we were waiting we played their famous peg game and I did pretty good. We received our food less than 15 minutes. Honestly, I was expecting the food to be decent but it was actually really delicious. My Mr had so much that he had to get a to go box. After we ate, we looked around in the store and we purchased two Christmas ornaments and added it to our bill. This place is definitely laid back and has so much to offer. Still had the same taste and quality 10 years ago. I can see us coming back.

The service was not great. Took a while to get drinks and refills and the salad came out after the meal. All of the food was bland with little flavor. The only good thing was the value for how much food you got. The order was also wrong as well. The atmosphere was dead as well. Not good at all, won't be back!

I've never been to a cracker barrel until I moved to Ohio. They don't have a cracker barrel in Southern California but I've always heard of it. This was the second time I went to a cracker barrel in Ohio but first time at this Milford location. My friend was in town from California and she wanted to try it so here we were. I like this establishment, even though I'm not a breakfast person, because the food is pretty good and actually pretty affordable. My husband really enjoyed the food and he ordered - I think he ordered the old timers. I ordered the two biscuits with bacon and that was good. My friend ordered the grandma's special which had a lot of items. She enjoyed her breakfast although she thought the country ham was salty - I tried it and I thought it was good! At least for me. It must be her taste buds lol. Overall the food was really good and I really enjoyed the pancakes - there was a nice crisp to them and I should have ordered more. Even though the food was good, I'm giving this only three stars because our service was just okay. Our server didn't seem like she wanted to be there lol and when my friend ordered coffee - the server cut her off and said that their coffee machine was broken. But then we saw other servers and including our server provide coffee to other tables. I'm not sure if she misheard my friend but she clearly told us that the coffee machine was broken... So I don't know what's up with that.

My lady and I usually aren't big on chain restaurants, but we were going to be in the area of this Cracker Barrel location, so we thought we'd stop by for dinner. Overall, it was a better than I'd expected. I'd been to a different location years ago and was a bit underwhelmed by the food especially. This time, I can honestly say I liked it. We rolled in on a Friday evening around 6pm. They were already pretty busy, but still, we were seated right away. Of course, we had to traverse their country store before getting to the dining area, which can be a challenge during busy times. Still, it's hard not to pause to check out all their offerings as well as the nostalgic decor all around. Our server was super friendly and very attentive. She took our drink order almost as soon as we sat down. Their menu is much bigger than I recall and loaded with classic southern cooked goodness. After some perusing, my lady decided on the country fried steak with broccoli and hash brown casserole, and I went with the chicken and dumplings with mashed potatoes and turnip greens. Even though they were busy, we didn't wait long as all before everything was ready, and it was all good too. Even the biscuits and corn bread muffins were tasty. My lady really enjoyed her chicken fried steak and hash brown casserole. My chicken and dumplings was excellent as well. Plus the price was very nice because it's tough to get a truly good meal for two for under $25 these days. Even for fast food sometimes. After our dinner, we had to look around more at the country store, and ended up getting two cool Christmas ornaments (a mini Atari 2600 one for me and a pizza one for my lady). I have to say that this experience was much more enjoyable than the one I had years ago. I can see why so many people frequent Cracker Barrel now. I could see myself possibly coming back to this one especially since there are so many more options to try.

It's been years since we stopped at a Cracker Barrel. Apparently they serve alcohol now ‍ our food was ok, nothing special. Everything was very bland (eggs, biscuits, pancakes). The "gift shop" was full of overpriced, glitter filled tackiness. I think we'll skip stopping here in the future.

This was my first time at a Cracker Barrel and I was pretty impressed. Loved the old country vibe inside, got seated pretty quickly for it being Saturday brunch time. I got the Grandma's sampler meal. The eggs were fine, the hash brown casserole was pretty good, the meats were all too salty for my taste (my friend said it tasted fine to her so it was probably just me) and the bacon was good. What I was most impressed with though, were the pancakes! Super delicious, was going to save some but just couldn't stop cutting off another bite, and another, and another. Only disappointment was they were out of coffee and it was strange because I'm sure I kept seeing other tables have coffee served, both seated before and after us.

One friend got the buffalo mac, the other got the teriyaki chicken with rice and broccoli. Both were very happy with their orders!! I ordered the teriyaki salmon with a side house salad with raspberry vinaigrette and mac n cheese. I'm not a big vinaigrette girly, so I'm not sure what came over me to order it, but it was DELICIOUS. 0% bitter and the slightest hint of sweetness - I was in love. The salmon was cooked wonderfully and the glaze had a sweet hint of something that I couldn't fully pinpoint (pineapple chunks, perhaps?) The mac n cheese was the low point of my meal and not even because it was bad...just because it wasn't anything to write home about. I totally will go back and it was very much worth the visit!! **can't remember how allergy friendly conditions were for the meals. Double check their menu before you go!

Every dish was unique and packed with flavor. The lobster may be the best in town--buttery, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The short rib mac and cheese was pure comfort food elevated to another level, with rich, melted cheese and a side of homemade tomato sauce that added an unexpected burst of flavor. The real surprise of the night was the potato cake. Whether it's a secret menu item or not, it deserves a permanent spot on the menu. The combination of crispy potato cake, creamy goat cheese, and sweet apple butter was absolutely incredible and unlike anything we've had before. This restaurant continues to impress us with its creativity, quality, and outstanding service. We can't wait for our next visit.

I was with a friend that I hadn't seen in a while, and chose to sit outside. This is a perfect place to have a long lunch as they don't care if you stay and visit (we were there for over 2 hours). Our service was good and very friendly. We ordered the fish sandwich with mixed vegetables, and the chicken Caesar sandwich with fries. They were able to blacken my chicken instead of fried chicken, which I appreciated. I also wanted to have my side be onion rings, but they said they couldn't make a side of those, so I ordered the appetizer of onion rings. Holy smokes the serving was HUGE! They were also some of the best onion rings I have had. The sandwiches were cooked perfectly, and the side of broccoli, cauliflower, and asparagus was fantastic. We also ordered iced tea, and it comes in a very large Mason jar and was brewed fresh. Yum.
