Our family of six showed up for dinner on a Saturday night at 6:24 PM. We waited about an hour and ten minutes for a table. We saw folks that were finished with their meal just sitting and talking. Seriously, take yourselves to a pub for a chat; don't just sit there when people are waiting for a table to open. The food was hot and good. The waitress was attentive and kept our glasses filled--typical Cracker Barrel.

Portion sizes are half usual size but the same price. Food tastes great as normal and service was good. Good ambiance.

We were in a hurry and knew that Cracker Barrel has a good variety of options for breakfast and are usually quick and always reasonably priced. This location did not disappoint. While we did have to wait a few extra minutes to be seated (staff is stretched to cover everywhere) once we were seated, our hostess became our server and took our drink orders and immediately returned for our food orders. Our granddaughter had "Eggs in a Basket" which was sourdough toast with an egg in the middle of the bread, not on it but IN it. It came with the hash browns casserole, bacon, one biscuit with gravy and grits. She finished both eggs so she really liked the Eggs in a Basket and it looked so good that my wife wants to order it the next time. Her friend picked the Wild Blueberry Pancakes which came with its own Blueberry Syrup. I had not seen flavored syrup before. My wife ordered the Biscuits n Gravy with Bacon. Of course I had to try one. Great gravy! I got Scrambled Eggs, Sausage Patties, the Hashbrown Casserole and Sour Dough Toast. Although I would prefer just plain hash browns, the casserole was okay. My eggs were great. Everyone enjoyed their food. We all left with full tummies for the long trip to Florida ahead. It is nice to know that Cracker Barrel is open for full service and the food is always good and service is always friendly and quick.

12/26/20 I came here with my friend for breakfast before we went on our after holiday shopping spree. I ordered the sunrise sampler and coffee. Our waitress, Aureille took such great care of us. She made sure we always had full coffee cups, and checked on us a lot. Just absolutely great service all around. My friend ordered the same meal minus eggs due to food allergies and she enjoyed her dish as well. The food was delicious and didn't disappoint. I would most definitely recommend this location, as I had a great experience.

It's a Cracker Barrel and was acceptable. The wait was a bit long, and the food was fine. It wasn't really remarkable in a good or bad way.

They've even been recommended and runner up by Best Of Lexington for best breakfast in town 2023 & 2025 (it's noted by emblems on the entry door). I love that if you have a problem with your food the management will make it right. You just have to let them know. No one's perfect but they really try to make it right. I love the ambiance inside and the outdoor seating in spring and summer. Good place to bring the family. I'm thrilled there are still local places like this one in Lexington that really work hard to give its' best and work hard to keep their doors open in this economy now days. It's not easy as we all know. We need to support our local businesses and cheer them on like this little gem. Thanks, Tack House for hanging in there through thick and thin and still giving us delicious food and great service for so many years!

Nice weather is perfect for the patio area, especially because you still get shade from the trees when it's hot. Lots of food and drink options, and they have some fun specials at times, it really just depends. Bourbon roll was delicious, blueberry muffins were nice. Their sausage gravy is pretty good, but it seemed to be missing something flavor wise. I ended up trying the Pharoah, which was deliciously baked potatoes and eggs, rye toast, and guzzling my coffee. Food was pretty good!

Josie's was our only stop in Lexington, but a pleasant one. My top-tier chum who literally went to…read morethe school of hospitality and I came by here to meet up with a colleague for brunch last Thursday morning. He's from this general area and recommended this spot, among a few others. I picked it because I liked the vibe, which I stand by in hindsight. Last Thursday was an atrocious weather day, raining for most of the time including the entire morning as we drove up to Lexington from Irvine. Since we'd never been over here, Josie's wasn't necessarily easy to spot apart from the other nearby businesses. It WAS very obviously in this larger strip mall situation (which doesn't seem like exactly the right term, but it's definitely in a building with a bunch of other stores), though we had to walk around almost the entire perimeter from our parking spot on Euclid to find it. Once we did, smooth sailing. Despite the fact that it was a weekday, Josie's was pretty busy when we walked in around 10ish. We WERE heading toward MDW, which could have been a factor, but this seems to be a pretty popular establishment regardless. It feels pretty new - this isn't like an old school greasy spoon diner type of situation - with some interesting artwork on the walls, and booths, regular tables and counter stools potentially available. Our colleague was already there and had secured a booth towards the back closer to the bathrooms, which allowed for some fun viewpoints of most of the restaurant. We were already a few days into our debauchery of a road trip, so I kept it pretty well-behaved - I opted for waffles with strawberries. That's it. The food came very quickly, as did the requested coffee, which might have ultimately been more important than the aforementioned waffles in the grand scheme of things. I honestly don't have a lot to say about them other than that they were perfectly fine waffles. The strawberries were fresh, the waffles themselves were cooked through but not too crispy, and that was that. I think it's a little hard to mess up something this basic, and thankfully all was well. The service was excellent throughout and even though I didn't foot any part of the bill (a thank you to our Kentucky colleague), the prices seemed very reasonable to me - though I also have a completely distorted perspective given that most of my consumerism takes place in the NYC area. No issues here; didn't see a ton of reasons to wander back into Lexington unless somehow Coach Cal comes back to coach the Cats and I miraculously score tickets to something at Rupp, but this was a nice little spot.
