I haven't been to a Cracker Barrel in ages. I was glad to see they still have it. Everything was just as good as I remember it to be. The service and food. I got uncle Hershey. I think that was what it was called. It was a good size meal that tasted delicious. That hashbrown casserole was so good. I wanted more lol. Everything was just as good as I remember. We went for brunch and we were sat on other side of establishment. My grandmother has difficulty walking which made it hard. The food was good and took a while but staff was great and attentive. I love the decor there cause it reminds you of what a country establishment would look like. Not impressed. Gift shop was cute if overpriced (as always). Menu was very disappointing: very little that isn't breaded, fried, greasy. Best choice (for me) was a salad with grilled chicken. I asked for chicken well done, even at the risk of it being a little dry and was told curtly that " chicken is done on a timer" and that she'd " never had any issues with it." as expected, it was slightly undercooked: when I mentioned it to the same waitress, she rather rudely continued her argument and made no effort to rectify the problem. It would've taken probably an extra 30 seconds on the grill. Also, all salad dressings available were heavy, and the restaurant offered no plain oil and vinegar at all. Never seen "Balsamic" dressing was thick and tasted commercially bottled. Sadly, CB is not the friendly spot with the eclectic menu it used to be. read more

Our waitress was nice but the length of time to get our food was quite long. I ordered the hash brown casserole. It has so many fried onions on it that the taste was overwhelming. I realized why they used so many onions, they did it to hide the hard, dried out cheese they had put on top of the casserole and let sit out at room temp then tried to get it to melt, which it did not melt, it was just crusty. It was gross. Some of the bacon was burned while on the sale strip, the bacon wasn't even done. The biscuits looked white, like they had been put in oven just long enough to cook them, but not brown them. I will say the white gravy did have a good taste and the water didn't taste like it had too much chlorine in it. There was a long line to pay and when I saw the QR code to pay on the bill, I did that so I could get outta there. This is my third visit at this location, it will probably be my last. read more

I am a disabled veteran who has a hard time going to crowded places, but went out of my comfort zone for Veteran's Day to have the meal they offer us. My waitress brought me a water and then proceeded to complain to the woman at the table next to me about how all the veterans are just coming in for free food and not even ordering something to drink and then leaving. Her name was Angelina and I was already on the verge of a panic attack before she complained about veterans. Well decided to give them one more try. Absolutely horrible. Ordered the grilled chicken tenderloin which I have ate probably 50 times at different locations. What an awful way to start our morning. We came in and were seated at 8:54Am. I've never felt so awkward and uncomfortable, my spouse and I sat and watched waitresses attend other tables even people who arrived after we did were getting greeted and their orders taken. My spouse, after 15 minutes of being ignored got up to speak to the host and find out what was going on. He was referred to the manager, who was to busy to talk with at the moment as she was have a conversation with other guests. While I waited at our table I couldn't help but notice we were the only non-white people in the restaurant (Staff included). We were also the only same sex couple here. A waitress rolled her eyes as she walked right past my table to attend a couple that just arrived. This gesture along with not being attended since being seated 20 minutes at this point, created a sense of awareness I haven't felt since I was a child. Were we being discriminated against? I started to feel a knot in my stomach and my hands tremble. I got up and suggested to my spouse that we should leave, my voice even cracked as I spoke. My husband was still standing behind the manager as he was going to ask her for an explanation. She looked at us and turned her head still ignoring us. With that, we walked out. This experience left a terrible impression on us and really has me concerned about Cracker Barrel's enforcement in the basic interactions staff has with their customers. read more

We waited a FULL HOUR from the time we were seated at our table to receive food. We had to ask for bread around 45 minutes. We never had our drinks refilled by our waitress; we had to call another over. We had to get our own silverware and napkins, as they were not delivered. We were told at check in that it could take an hour from the time we checked in to receive food, but it ended up being 1.5hrs from when we checked in. A manager saw us getting ready to leave when it hit 1hr from the time we were seated and looked us in the eye from an arm's length away and said absolutely nothing. I had to update my review. This Cracker Barrel is going downhill, especially with portion sizes. I used to get two thick slices of meatloaf but now they serve just one slice and it's thinner than before. Ask about portion sizes before you order. tonight my boyfriend and i were hungry and decided to eat cracker barrel. we walked in and immediately saw that the store was not busy at all so we would get our food fast(so we thought) the hostess was very nice and took us to our table. on the walk to our table there were a few empty tables that had not been cleaned off, some even still had the dishes on them) our table did not look like it had been wiped off properly. it took about 10 minutes for our waitress to ask us for our drink orders and another 20 for her to give them to us. a few minutes later she came back and asked if we were ready to order, i got chicken strips with mashed potatoes and macaroni, and he got a burger and fries, and then we got hasbrown tots as our appetizer. i kid you not, it took an HOUR AND A HALF for them to bring out our food, and then when we got it, i didn't receive my macaroni and cheese, or our appetizer. our waitress didn't come back to check on us for 30ish minutes for us to tell her, we had also priorly told the manager about our missing items due to the fact that he saw we had empty cups for the past 20 minutes because we never got a refill. the waitress came with my macaroni about 15 minutes after we informed her we were missing it, and then told us our appetizer wasn't going to be ready for another ten minutes, i'm sorry???? aren't appetizers supposed to come first?? 20 minutes later we get our appetizer and our check, it was $45 which is pretty good for the amount of food we got, but the service?, yeah no. we ended up tipping the girl $10 but it was a terrible experience. if you're looking to spend around 2 hours sipping on ice cubes.... this is the best cracker barrel for you. will not be returning!!! read more

My husband and I went for an early dinner after a day of deep sea fishing . We were seated right away , waited a few minutes and our drink order was taken . We ordered our meals when we got the drinks . We asked for corn muffins , but after 40 minutes we were given biscuits . People who had come in well after us were served their food , we still had only biscuits . We were talking about just leaving , and another 10 minutes passed before we got our meals. Mine was fine , but no sour cream for the tenders . My husband was given a wrong meal . His sides were correct , however , no vinegar , honey or ketchup . The chef saw that we were not happy , and asked if we needed anything . We said yes, my husband's meal . He went to the kitchen and came out later to say he could start the correct meal , but it would take 15 minutes and he would comp the meal for hubby . We were tired , hungry , but he wanted his meal . We used to stop to eat by following the Cracker Barrel map showing locations . This was a major disappointment . I was finished eating by the time hubby got his food , so we feel like we wasted a couple of hours of our vacation time . This was just an OK experience. There were some positives and negatives. Positives - Seating was very fast and the greeter was friendly. Neutral - Food was just ok. Tasted a little bland. It didn't have that Cracker Barrel taste I've grown accustomed to for all these years. I had the cornbread and it tasted way off. It tasted as though someone had poured bacon grease in the recipe. But, it didn't taste fresh as it had more of a spoiled bacon grease taste. Negative - My waitress dropped off the check with my food and promised to come back and check on me. She never spoke to me again. She lied and broke her promise, this isn't southern hospitality at all. The table in front of me was a "do not sit" table. Looks like it went a few days without getting a wipe down. I've included a pic.. That's more than a days worth of dust. Another table that was near me was also a "do not sit" table. It was spotless. She took a bit to get our drink order so by that time we also put our food orders in. Our drinks came back quickly but food did take a while to receive. Everything was warm and appetizing.
