This is one of my parent's favorite places to visit and after this last visit I can see why. I've always enjoyed their breakfast but never had their dinner selection. Food: I had the cod fish and it was so good! They really put the southern cooking into this meal. I may have been indeed hungry, but everything came out fresh and hot. Enjoyed the vegetables and the unexpected biscuit that usually set for breakfast. The strawberry lemonade was really refreshing and had real strawberry chucks inside. Service: Izzy my waiter was wonderful. She provided great customer service from the minute I sat down to the minute I had to leave. She made wonderful suggestions, made sure to refill my drink without asking, and presented everything with a smile. I also noticed that other staff was assisting each other and noticed that staff was cleaning areas when there were moments of downtime. Overall: I would truly recommend visiting this location. They have a great staff for dinner hours and they work well with each other. The entrance to this location can be a little tricky to find but it will well worth it. Always a satisfying meal here! One thing I can say about CB is that they have mastered the art of consistency. I've been to several different locations and the food quality and quantity is always consistent. It's easy to get lost in the shopping abyss upon arrival or whilst trying to vacate the premises, but the items in the shop are both interesting and unique so you can't help but browse. Stay too long and you've purchased a gift or two, though! Ideally, stay away or prepare to wait Saturday and Sunday mornings / mid-days. Everyone else wants to be here too at those times. read more

It's been years since I've been to Cracker Barrel and never have I been for a meal other than breakfast. Getting to this location is a bit odd as you do have to navigate through some parking lots/side streets to find it, despite the high visibility off of I-4. Getting a table on a weeknight was pretty simple as it wasn't too busy. The hostess and waitress were friendly and had drink and food orders in pretty quickly. I ended up trying out the Country Dinner Platter which includes a smaller portion of a main entrée and two sides. Overall the food was good quality and pretty inexpensive. We have ordered to go meals the last two days from this restaurant being convenient to where we are staying. Our Motor home is being worked on at Lazy Days RV next door so we are staying at Country Inn for a few days. The food has been quite good and ready for pickup when we arrive. The staff here is super nice, and the food variety is amazing. Our croutons were stale but other than that the meals were great both days. When we are traveling and it's time for lunch the first place we look for is a Cracker Barrel. We stopped here and were seated right away. Our server came to take our order right away. She even brought us some biscuits to get started. I chose the fresh Haddock plate with 3 sides and biscuits. The Cheese grits, turnip greens and fried okra sides were delicious and the haddock was fresh, hot and also delicious. My wife got the Catfish with beans, greens and cornbread. Who doesn't love this southern staple? So good. Arrived around 645pm on a Tuesday. Not busy at all. My only complaint was the hostess who slammed our silverware down onto the table before we sat. She was rude but maybe she was having a bad day. The store is cluttered with cute stuff and classic yummies. The menu is exactly what you'd expect. Fried this and fried that but yummy stuff. The sides are amazing. I had the greens tonight and they were good. Love their biscuits and gravy. All I can say is that Cracker Barrel is exactly what you'd expect. It was pretty clean and the service was good. I don't think the hostess should be hosting at all. Maybe she should work less with the public. read more

This Cracker Barrel just recently is temporally closed for live roaches around the cooking area this would leave a sour taste in your mouth. My family has eaten here in previous year and the smell of this place is nasty. It smells horrid once walking in to the establishment like what the other person has claimed and stated. Food was okay nothing special drink orders was filled in a timely manner. The restrooms needs attention to it smells horrid like they haven't been deep cleaned in a awhile I feel sorry for the customers have illnesses and low immunity who come here to eat and have to use the restroom and they have to use this restroom cause they have no where else to go. Another excellent meal at Cracker Barrel! My family stopped here to meet up with more family members for a late lunch. This is a great location just off the highway with lots of parking. There were ten of us in the party and we had about a 30 minute wait before we were called. This is an easy place for my family to come to because there's always plenty on the menu we'll eat and the portions are just right. We were introduced to two servers, one was training and rightfully so. She was having a very difficult time so we were thankful for the trainer that was with her. The trainer did an excellent job at keeping our orders straight and our glasses filled. She was very kind and even took the time to show us some cheats for the games set on the table. For lunch I finally had something other than the cornbread dusted haddock; I had the pot roast. It was amazing! So tender, I didn't even need a knife to cut it. As with most of their meals, you can pick 3 sides. I got mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and steamed broccoli. I've had these sides before so I knew what I was getting would be good. The location is a bit hidden, and it is spooky to go there at night. But with that being said, as a tourist in the area, this place has everything. You can buy suveniers, sauces, clothes, greeting cards, rocking chairs, and oh yeah, there is food too. The food portions are big. I got the meat loaf, and that with 3 sides was a lot of food. I could not decide on biscuits or corn bread so our server got us both. The service was good and I experienced Southern Hospitality here. Don't place your order via a food delivery service because the food always arrives cold - it doesn't matter which food delivery service as this is a failure on the restaurant's part to keep food and coffee warm while waiting for delivery person to pick up. Cracker Barrel, you need to up your game and figure out a way to keep food warm. it took the delivery driver less than 10 minutes from pick up to delivery so you can't blame it on the delivery service. So today stopped in for quick breakfast and as always had a good meal. Arrived about 9:30 so breakfast crowd had come and gone so lots of seating and attentive service. I had single blueberry pancake which was just enough. Although bacon is good I don't see the "thick sliced" description fitting the bacon. I have had thicker sliced bacon purchased at grocery store. My husband got Uncle Crackers breakfast and chose for his meat side grilled catfish. I would never order fish with breakfast but I wasn't eating it. His breakfast came out and since I love fish but never tasted catfish I thought I would try a bite. It was delicious. I would definitely order that for lunch or dinner. Beautifully seasoned and flaky Had to ask for water when breakfast cane which is a pet peeve of mine as I think water should at least be offered at all restaurants especially in the heat of the summer with high dehydration risks. I wish I could give this location Zero Stars!! Heed this warning and AVOID this location at all cost. Otherwise, you'll leave sadly disappointed and probably as hungry as we did! First, Michelle our server told us they had no small plates left when she brought us biscuits to the table and handed us extra napkins. After waiting 20 minutes for our food, I got the manager, Steve's attention. After explaining that we had been waiting 20 minutes for the food, he insincerely walked away saying, well I'll go see. Upon his return, another server.. (not Michelle who we hadn't seen but once other time since sitting down) brought our food to the table. As soon as he began sitting items on the table, I could tell that our food was cold. The cheese on top of the grits was hardened and the gravy on top of the chicken fried chicken didn't move at all as the plates were set down. The kids Mac and cheese we ordered had big black chunks in it... and my eggs which were supposed to be over medium were already running on the plate. As Steve, the manager approached the table again, I informed him of all of these things. Requesting a Mac and cheese without black chunks in it. He informed us that the black chunks are a part of the dish!!! (Seriously, KID's Mac and cheese is noodles and cheese.... so what part of the dish is black and chunky... unless it's burnt!!!) so we request a kids burger and fries... plain. My friend had also taken a bite of her chicken fried chicken and it was cold as well. So we requested new food, 10 minutes later we, all are sitting at our table sti hungry and waiting for our food. Michelle appears and asks how's our food!? Wow!!! What food?? The food we are sitting waiting on from the kitchen, I ask. She then begins blaming the kitchen for all the problems saying they are backed up and getting tired!!! But that she would go and see she where the food was. Five minutes later Steve appears with new chicken fried chicken and over medium eggs...( see picture) it clearly is still wrong. And with the manager delivering the food wrong, the lack of care for their customers and pride in the work and service they provide is clearly evident!! Five minutes later, he return with a kids burger NO Fries!!!! At this point, I'm beyond furious! I explain to him that his level of service and lack of care for getting our food right, had completely turned me off from ordering food to go as well as dessert. Steve then offers the FIRST apology since this debacle began. Walks away and brings back fries and then disappears. At this point, none of us really wanted to eat... but we tried anyway. After waiting another 10 minutes, I asked another server to see if he can find Michelle. We simply wanted to pay the bill and leave. She again appears from the back, and says oh well the manager took care of it. As I began to say ok, the child in our party asked if he could have another chocolate milk and a box for his burger and fries. So I politely ask Michelle for a box and another chocolate milk. She has the Audacity to say, Well you know you'll have to PAY for that right??? Her tone clearly implying that she believed we complained just to get free food!!!! After assuring her, we had no problem paying for any of our food, she walked off returning with a box and the chocolate milk and a BILL for $1.92. (The cost of a kids chocolate milk) As she walked away, she said I hope it gets better for you. It's a SAD shame that this is the second time that I have been to this Cracker Barrel and been treated disrespectful by not only the staff but management!! I will never return to Cracker Barrel again... and sincerely hope that if you won't hot food cooked the way you ask, that you avoid this Cracker Barrel as well. I am such a fan of Cracker Barrel that I even have one of their rocking chairs on my front porch! I travel for work and have never had a bad experience at CB until tonight. My wife and I stopped in for dinner tonight. 4/11/19 at 8:30 pm after traveling and it was no where near what we expected. Cleanliness: There were 5 empty tables that I could see from where we were sitting that had only partially been bussed. There were chairs everywhere with napkins and debris on the floor, and the tables which are usually in straight lines, were a complete mess. Every time the hostess brought someone back, she would walk through the tables looking for the cleanest one to sit someone at. Service: Our server would not make eye contact with us and kept looking around at another table while we were trying to order. So much so that I stopped talking and looked in the direction that she was looking until she looked at me. We asked 3 times for biscuits and didn't get them until our food came. I ordered decaf coffee, she brought my cup and a pocket full of cream and said "I forgot the coffee". Once I did get the cup filled I had it empty before our food came without ever getting a top off or refill (I've never had an empty cup at CB). I wasn't going to ask for a refill as I had water also and wanted to see if the server was even going to see if the coffee cup, which i had moved to the edge of the table needed topped off. My wife eventually mentioned it when the server brought the bill and she ended up coming back with the pot. We were also given no small plates for the biscuits when they did come and had wait quite a while after asking for butter. By the time we got the butter the biscuits were cold. Food: Our food came out cold, and we waited almost 10 minutes for her to come back so we could tell her it was cold. We were also missing part of my order which turned out to be a blessing because it cane to the table hot. Manager: I was totally surprised when the manager walked up to our table while my wife and I were talking and literally reached between us to the other end of our 4 top table to switch out the salt and pepper shakers, which were full so we never did figure out why she changed them. The surprising part is she didn't say a word, literally leaned across and stretched to reach them. No excuse me, how is everything, etc. and the crazy part, we were at a table in the middle of the restaurant so she had access to the other end of the table by just walking around the table. Lastly, there was a man by himself that got sat at a table across from us. He literally sat for 15 minutes without a single server ever stopping at his table. He even at one point tried to stop one of the servers to order a drink and she just kept walking. He finally got up and walked out while shaking his head in disbelief. When he walked out, the table behind us asked if he just left. I stated, "I think so", and the couple said "we don't blame him." I will continue to look for that wonderful sign while on the road, knowing there's a rocking chair on the porch and some hot biscuits with my name on them. But if I find myself back at this exit, I'll keep driving, looking for the next CB sign. read more

You didn't have link sausage so I got the paddy and that was very hard you could tell that it was sitting for awhile. I'm a big fan of Cracker Barrel breakfast, but this is a review of the lunch situation. I'll start with the building and staff. This CB looks like all the others I have ever been in, so aesthetics-wise, they stick to the brand. My waitress was apparently emotional as it was her last day working there, so her sister warned us she may be aloof and kept checking up on our table to make sure she was okay. It was kind of weird truth be told. As for the food, I order the CB Lunch Sampler. As such, I tasted meatloaf, sweet ham, mac and cheese, hash brown casserole, chicken and dumplings, a biscuit, a cornbread muffin, and French fries. The two things that did not disappoint (and are also standard breakfast items) were the biscuit and the hash brown casserole. Lunch-wise, I found that I enjoyed the chicken and dumplings, Mac and cheese, and ham. I was not particularly pleased with the meat loaf which was a greasy heart burny mess. And I absolutely hated the corn muffin. It tasted like nothing. Overall, I'd probably go back, but it wouldn't be my first choice for dining. read more

Did an online catering order for delivery yesterday for 8:45 am today. Called at 9:15 am to be put "on hold" transferred to different people to be hung up on. Called back at 9:20 am and luckily wasn't hung up on again. Manager finally came on and then proceeded to tell me that my order was still there. By the time the food got there, it was an hour late, and food containers were crushed. Sausage gravy was spilling out. No customer service in contacting me to say order would be late and don't think I'll be risking it again especially for an order that was about $280. UPDATE... We were sat so close/tight (in a majority empty restaurant) in between two full tables that my husband could not even shimmy through to get to his seat. We asked to switch to a table with a little more room and a little farther away from others and the hostess was very bothered. I'm really impressed with Cracker Barrel! We chose to have Thanksgiving dinner here this year, we we had just the four of us, and I didn't want leftovers tempting me to get off track with my macros in the days following Thanksgiving. The employees would have been there with, or without me, so why not? We went at 2. The line was huge, but we checked in and they told us it would be about 15 minutes. While we waited, we wandered around the store part and we decided which treats we were going to pick out before we left. The employees were really nice and helpful, and one even helped my child find all of the different giant candy items that were spread around. Our party was called about ten minutes after we arrived, and our server was very prompt and polite. We ordered and didn't wait long at all for our food. The traditional Thanksgiving meal was pretty great! The sweet potato casserole was kind of strange, but that stuffing was ridiculous. I generally don't like stuffing that much, but damn. Anyways, we had a nice family meal, and I tipped like 80% because that's kind of what needs to happen on holidays. These guys are there to get PAID. On my way out I got some maple fudge- I can confirm that I gained 5lbs on thanksgiving. It was well worth it. We will be coming back! read more

Absolute worst Cracker Barrel I have ever been to! Completely disorganized with no one around to help. It was impossible. I placed a lunch order by phone, drove to pick it up, went over my lunch order several times with the cashier and once with a waitress, waited 20 minutes AT the restaurant and was told they didn't have what I ordered. I left with no lunch. How could you not have known 35 minutes before hand when I placed my order you were out or 20 minutes before when you replaced my order at the counter? SMH read more
