Service was overall good. Attentive and friendly. Food was okay. I got the breakfast burger - asked for it medium...it came out well done. I'm not big on sending food back so just finished half of it. Got the grandpa's country breakfast platter and the gravy was bland...hashbrown casserole was salty. Server asked us what kind of cheese on the eggs and we assumed it came with the platter but we were charged an additional $1.49 for a slice of American cheese. I would understand .49 charge but 1.49 is steep for one slice of cheese. The steak and grilled chicken platter was good for the most part...steak was also overcooked...we asked for medium...should've asked for medium rare... The weekend daily platter was fried chicken and it was just okay...sad to say but popeyes is better.

I've been to Cracker Barrel in NJ, PA, & FL. Their PA locations are always the best! Very kind waitress & quick service. Food was great. Mac & cheese was cold & burnt, but they replaced it (see second photo).

Still one of my fave places to stop and have a decent meal when on a road trip away from NYC. They still have a lot of their signature meal items but love how they've revamped their pot roast but their version of Shepard's pie was really weird... Loved the battered and fried pickle chips though! Always feels like a holiday when you walk through their general store area even when it's not an holiday season.

Stopped by here before heading to the airport, which is 7 minutes away. Ordered my usual chicken fried steak, with carrots, potato casserol and fried apples. Chicken fried steak was just ok -- a little small and was not as crispy as it looked. Service was great, but food under-delivered. I did pick up 3 boxes of pancake mix to bring home, so overall the trip was a win!

Sometimes you're just in the mood for unpretentious dining... Today was that day for me. After running errands, it was close to 4pm and I hadn't eaten. Cracker Barrell in Ridley Park was 4 mins away and the decision was made! I always love their country store and the nostalgic items they carry. Since it was a Monday, I practically had the run of the place. I was promptly greeted and seated. My waitress Kim immediately approached my table and was very friendly and attentive. She remained that way throughout the entire experience. Great service is paramount and Kim hit all the bars! I ordered the Momma's Breakfast with French Toast and coffee. My food arrived quickly and was fresh. I recommend a trip there!

The wait was only 25 minutes on a Saturday around noon. Cameron, a "general sales and services" employee, was so friendly and professional. During the wait time, I window shopped through the fun store front. I bought nothing but took photos of potential gifts. Nene was my server. After she brought me my order, she walked away without giving me some utensils and napkins. I had to wait several minutes until I saw her again to ask for some, and on one occasion, when she was attending to a few customers at another table, she turned around and gave me a dirty look. The tasty roast beef, fried okra and grits made up for her poor service. The biscuits were okay plain but tasted better when smeared with some blackberry preserves. Be sure to get a seat by the wood burning fireplace. Hearing and seeing the wood crackle on a cold winter day provides the right element for a romantic meal even if you are seated by yourself. Personally, I would not come back here because of Nene. I left her no tip. She deserved nothing. I tipped Cameron instead.

    Beef Campfire......very good!

Beef Campfire was very good, the Pot Pie was just ok.....wouldn't recommend. Fried Pickle app was a little disappointing.

I've been to many a Cracker Barrel's in several states. Negatives: This one - service was so slow. Took forever to get a refill. It was cold in there and the fans above us were on high. We asked if they could be turned down or off. Our server said it needed to stay on per corporate. On the other side of the restaurant there were fans off. Tables sat full of dishes long after people left. Long line for checkout & only one person helping checkout. The positive : Food was good, per usual. We got the fried pickles, so yummy! Very crispy & hot.

I stopped in at Cracker Barrel for brunch, there was no wait to be seated, but to my surprise there is a new menu which several items have been taken off due to supply and demand. So if you're looking for turkey products including turkey bacon & sausage or catfish they don't have it at this particular location anymore. There's only a select few Cracker Barrel's in the south that have these items in stock, but they do offer a spicy chicken sausage and the impossible sausage an option. The restaurant was very clean and the coffee was hot (a little weak for my taste, but it was hot). Our waitress Dejonna was great, she knew the menu well and she suggested suitable alternatives for discontinued items; she was personable and definitely good at her job. Kudos Dejonna!

My friends and I came here because it was right next to our hotel and was a quick grab to eat. We walked in around 2PM and were seated right away. Our server, Neicy was great to us. Very attentive, helpful and had a great personality. The business gives off a country breakfast diner type of vibe. I ordered the grandma's sampler which was 50/50. The pancakes that came with it were AMAZING and so was the country hash. All of my proteins sucked! The eggs, the bacon and the sausage were Terrible! It didn't taste authentic (but more like very artificial meat and tasteless undercooked eggs). They also served us biscuits before our meals which were also very good with both the jelly and the butter. My friend ordered the fried shrimp basket with steak fries and her meal tasted wayyy better than mine So i would probably get that if I ever came back again next time. The food portions are enormous, and the price is very affordable so you definitely get your bang for your buck. We definitely needed somewhere quick to eat our food and Cracker Barrel definitely did the job.

Since there were no available tables outside, we were placed inside in a corner table with no air circulation. The humidity felt unbearable and really played a major impact on my experience. I'm sure if I came during a mid spring day I would've had a better experience. Food: the food is the only reason I would come here again. I got a crab cake that was very robust with a fair amount of filler but had a good amount of real crabmeat. My son got the quesadilla, and it wasn't anything special. The salmon was small and flavorful. Service: also was not anything special or bad. Our waitress came by twice during our stay. It was a busy afternoon and she was working. It would've been good if they had more staff so that someone could refill our water more frequently. Like I said, the humidity had taken away from our experience. Overall, I wouldn't come here throughout the hot, humid summer months, but I may give it a second try in the winter or spring... maybe.

Our drinks were empty for most of the meal, and we had to ask another server just to find her. One of our drinks was made wrong, and when we finally got her attention, she seemed annoyed she needed to come to our table and actually walked away while we were still talking, which felt really dismissive. What makes it more frustrating is that there's an automatic 18% gratuity even for small tables. I ended up having to tipping $22 total, and for only seeing her a handful of times, it definitely didn't feel deserved. To top it off, when I mentioned to the head bartender (who was acting as the manager) that I wouldn't be coming back, he pulled $40 cash out of his own wallet and offered it to me to "give them another chance." It honestly made me feel so uncomfortable and was not an appropriate way to handle the situation. The food was fine, but the service and overall experience were not. For the prices and the built-in tip, I expected much better. I will not be returning.

I suppose a restaurant almost has a disadvantage when one has heard endlessly about how fantastic…read moreit is, thus setting one's expectations quite high when making one's reservation. A friend and I came by for a quiet supper to catch up and hopefully have an enjoyable dining experience. To start off, the Caesar salad and focaccia were indeed quite tasty. After being talked into trying the tasting menu, I was disheartened upon taking my first bite of the chicken Parmigiana and accompanying pasta. Both seemed as if they had been sitting for a while and then were unevenly reheated. The pasta, in particular, was lackluster and worse than anything I might have hurriedly boiled at eleven at night upon arriving home after a long trip and finding only packaged pasta and canned tomato sauce in the cupboard. But I could have lived with all of this had it not been for the service. Clearly my friend and I were the afterthought of all afterthoughts to our disinterested waitress. After hounding us to order before we had properly reviewed the menu, she promptly put us on the pay-no-mind list, as dirty dish after dirty dish accumulated at the table from the tasting menu she had so strongly urged me to try. I also abhor cheapness on the part of restaurants. Would it have killed Rosemary to offer us a second piece of focaccia, given that there were two of us and the portion was a better fit for just one? Lest anyone accuse me of having expected the waitstaff to read my mind, I indeed asked. It's not like we weren't spending a pretty penny there. The business could have well afforded to allow each of us a reasonable portion of its much-touted starter. After we finally managed to flag down our waitress amid the plethora of dirty dishes still sporting some of the mediocre food, I paid in cash on account of the restaurant informing me on the bill that a surcharge would be applied to a credit card transaction. Another joy! When the waitress took the note, she said, "Thank you," and that was that. I decided against calling after her to request change since it was one of those borderline instances where the note was close enough to twenty percent that it is a bit awkward to request someone return with change. So she walked off with a 26% or so tip after having left us on the dining equivalent of "read" the entire night. And then there's the issue of price: While not outrageous, everything is 15-20% more expensive than it should be, and after one pauses to think about it, the tasting menu offers barely any deal at all. If one orders the chicken like I did, it is no cheaper than ordering the starter, entrée, and dessert à la carte. If Rosemary had also offered, say, a soup, then it would be a deal. But clearly generosity is not in its owner's purview. The tiramisu, I will say, was excellent, and my friend and I enjoyed every morsel, and for that reason, along with the Caesar salad, I can muster three stars. Had I not walked through the door having heard so many people rave about Rosemary, perhaps I would have found it to be a restaurant with a pleasant ambiance, a good appetizer, and fine dessert despite a thoroughly middling entrée. But a Delco gem it is not.

This was a really great spot. My coworker and I were over in North Jersey for work but flew in and out of PHL rather than facing Newark. In order to beat the crazy construction traffic outside of Philly and to have a buffer for whatever TSA nightmare we were going to face, we got back near the airport early... like 4 1/2 hours before our flight kind of early. I wanted breakfast outside of the airport so I found this spot while he was refilling the rental car. I got the French toast with homefries. The french toast was perfect, with just a tiny bit of crisp in spot from the griddle. Same with the homefries. I would have liked a bit more seasoning while they were cooking, but a bit of salt and pepper and I was good to go. My coworker got the big breakfast but subbed out the homefries for corned beef hash. While I'm not a fan of corned beef hash, it looked exactly like how my mom and grandfather like it, with a little bit of crisp to it. The pancake was huge and he said his over medium eggs were cooked exactly like he hoped they would be. Today was no exception. Their grilled chicken sandwich was not what I hoped for. On the plus side, it was a generous portion of chicken, most of which I took home. As a negative -- at least for me -- I like a flat filet, with grill marks. This was "chunky," rendering it clumsy to eat. It simply didn't taste grilled at all. And the chicken was dry. T ordered a country omelet that was filled with breakfast meats, cheddar and peppers. Though not my thing, I agreed it was pretty good. His grits were creamy, buttery and delicious. Coffee is strong and served in the old-fashioned heavy mugs that I favor. Our server was friendly. ("Where are you from?" she asked, picking up on my Brooklyn accent.) I asked if Greek lemon soup is ever on the menu. She said that the owners are Turkish, then gave me a rundown of their specialties, all of which sound delish. (Alas, no avgolemono.) I wouldn't hesitate to return to Folcroft. The menu is diverse, the restaurant is clean -- as pointed out by another Yelper AND our waitress. If you order the right thing, you'll no doubt be pleased.
