Stopped by KOS Waffle on Robson and it was such a sweet surprise! They have so many fun waffle combinations -- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly paired with creamy gelato and toppings. I tried one of their signature waffles and it was honestly picture-perfect and tasted even better. The shop is bright and welcoming, with super friendly staff who helped explain the different flavour options. Everything felt freshly made and you can really taste the quality. Perfect spot for a dessert date, an after-dinner treat, or just something cute for your feed. Highly recommend if you're around downtown Vancouver!

So good we went here twice in our short visit to Vancouver! Plain waffle with whip cream or create your own waffle with ice cream and chocolate were our repeat order. It's a cute & quaint spot with fun Norwegian words to learn. Order at a kiosk, one person making the waffles, and maybe two chairs inside to sit, and smell sweet cinnamony toasty waffles in the making.

Came here with a group of friends, and we were so glad we did. It's not every day you find a place dedicated entirely to Norwegian waffles. What a unique concept and such a cozy, welcoming spot! I had the Old Faithful waffle sandwich (strawberry, banana, Nutella, almond slices), and it was absolutely delicious. Perfectly crisp yet soft waffles, fresh ingredients, and that perfect balance of sweetness. Everyone in our group loved what they ordered. Prices vary depending on what you get. They can be on the higher side, but everything feels worth it for the quality. Make sure you bring patience if you do come here, though, and I don't recommend coming here if in a rush. Each waffle is made fresh to order, and you can really taste the care and time that goes into it. Totally worth the wait. Can't wait to come back and try more if in the Vancouver area again anytime soon!

    I Scream (?)

I forgot what the specific thing we ordered was called but it was something related to 'ice cream' in the name. (Like the "I Scream"? idk) Anyways... The waffle itself tasted like the frozen eggo waffles from the supermarket (like not very thick or fluffy - it tasted reheated even though I literally saw them make it... so that was strange). The ice cream sandwich was also meh - also, I'm pretty sure the menu said ice cream, which is why I thought there was going to be actual ice cream :( Overall, not a great dessert. It wasn't the most expensive (around $10 or so?), so maybe I'd consider trying a different option if I ever came again? But I won't been keen to do so any time soon :/

Delicious hole in the wall in downtown Vancouver. Great selection of sweet and savory waffle sandwiches. Good service too.

Was looking for a sweet treat to end the night and thankfully came across this cute place on the walk. We were quickly greeted and ordered up front (optional kiosk ordering). We got the Pebbles Reese, Chocolate Dream, and I-Scream sweet waffles. DELICIOUS! And very big sizes. I would definitely recommend this place for any sweet tooth. They also have savory waffles, which I will have to come back to try one day!

    Grilled chicken club

KOS Waffles is a small shop with a few seating options available. I ended up deciding to get the grilled chicken club waffle (with the ranch dressing on the side) and thought it was okay. I quite enjoyed the bacon and cheese but found the chicken a bit dry. I think I enjoyed the original Waffleland a bit more but found KOS an interesting concept.

Best thing that I ate in Vancouver! Their waffles are shaped like hearts, very iconic of Norway, and they are folded like a taco. Then they placed caramelized cinnamon, powdered sugar, and whipped cream in it. Delicious! It was flavorful without being too sweet or too heavy.

Great waffle sandwiches - had the chicken club a blend of sweetness from the waffle with a great sandwich tucked inside. Glad we stopped.

They chose a charity for the quarter and it's $10/person. I really wish more places did this. The service you get is top notch. Service was good, friendly. The restaurant is the same as I recall, clean enough. A little cramped and the seating isnt too comfortable. Its really not a good place to hang out for a long time, but rather sit down, eat, and get out type of place. I had the lavender latte and the Tagine this time. Ive had it before and at least its pretty consistent. Ive tried several other things on their menu in the past too, all pretty solid 4/5. Nothing standout as so amazing to deserve 5 stars, but consistent and tasty. I did have a reservation which they charge $10/person for, purely for donation to a charity and does not contribute to your meal at all, and also nonrefundable. While I find this somewhat annoying, I dont blame them for doing this from a business standpoint. They always have a lineup so there is no shortage of customers for them. There is no reason they need to deal with the headache of a ton of reservations. On the flip side, they honoured my reservation in a very timely fashion and I bypassed the line, so props to them for doing that part right. If you have to park, then you may find street metered parking or use one of the nearby paid lots.

I'm not sure if I kept walking by on a Monday but it was my first time being able to go in during operating hours. I had a bacon and cheddar waffle warmed up to eat and it was perfectly filled with bits of cheddar and bacon and very balanced! Not greasy and a great light bite to eat. I also ordered a dark chocolate covered and matcha covered waffle to go. They had the perfect texture, a tad chewy (just how we like it) with a light coating of the matcha and chocolate. There are a few tables to grab a seat in their bright shop to eat and I saw they have a nice waffle menu for breakfast/brunch/lunch plus an assortment of other goodies to order like quiches, tarts, croissants and sandwiches. It was a calm environment and you can grab a seat by the window to read a book or work on your laptop a bit if you're coming solo. Of course you can also grab your standard coffee shop drinks as well to accompany your treats. Staff were friendly in answering my questions and it was a great first experience. I'll be back!
