We've been coming to C&V since they opened. It's a great place to eat, visit, and enjoy happy hour. We've eaten from their brunch, lunch and dinner menus on a number of occasions with friends and on date nights. Some of our favorite things to order are the Nashville hot chicken sliders, short ribs, burgers, flatbreads, salads, and charcuterie boards. They have fun drinks, a beautiful bar, romantic dining room seating and fun outdoor-ish seating in the sunroom. There's always a stunning sunset to catch in the evenings. For Sunday Brunch, the staff is usually in the weeds due to employees not showing up. It's still not that slow though. Weekend nights are busy. Come early to find a place to park. Enjoy! read more

Always have a good time here! Stopped by before the Christmas parade and enjoyed amazing meals and brews/wine. The standout was really the service. Our food took slightly longer than expected, which we hardly noticed, but our server insisted on comping a dessert for us. It was such a sweet gesture and really solidified why we enjoy coming here. This is a restaurant that is going to become a regular for my wife and I. Love the upstairs location looking down at all of the foot traffic below. But of course the start here is the food and the drinks. Began with the Crab Cakes and the Low Country Shrimp Toast. Some of the best crab cakes we have had and the Shrimp Toast was absolutely amazing. Perfectly cooked, perfectly toasted and a sauce unlike any I have ever tasted. While we enjoyed these starters we also tried creative martini drinks. My wife had the Key Lime Pie Martini and I had the Fiery Mango - again, both were creative flavor mixes that really worked well. For the main courses we had the Hazelnut Crusted Goat Cheese Salad and a special Redfish offered that evening. My fish was perfectly done and a great gulf flavoring on dirty rice. Extremely disappointed in the service here. We just moved here and were looking for dinner, and saw a special on their website for $10 burgers for today only (picture attached). We only decided to go to the restaurant for this special. When ordering, we mentioned this to the waitress and she seemed confused but said she would double check for us. She didn't, but we figured she just hadn't heard about the deal - so when the manager came by to check on our meal we showed him the website and mentioned the deal. First he said "oh that was just on the 27th. Today is the 27th! "Oh that must be old from last year". Last year June 27th wasn't a Thursday. Finally he said that they're changing website domains and it's just wrong. We won't be coming back. False advertising that could have been fixed simply by honoring what their WEBSITE SAYS. Friday December 22, 2023 Company Christmas dinner. Decided Craft & Vine was the place to go. Loved it !! We sat out on their beautiful balcony. Weather was perfect and the view was excellent. Service was wonderful. Young lady took great care of us. We ordered 1 of each of their appetizers and they were great. Many different entrees were ordered and they all got great reviews. Except for the Ribeye !!! Myself, my business partner and his son got the Ribeye and all 3 of us were very very disappointed. None of us could finish the steak. Personally it was the worst piece of meat I have ever been served. All fat and gristle. We didn't want to change the great vibe of the celebration so we did not send back our steaks. We will go back and try again because of the Ambiance, Service and other food choices. MORAL OF THE STORY: DON"T EVER GET THE RIBEYE at Craft & Vine. we were in the area for the annual 4th of july firework and wanted to get something to eat before the city shot off fireworks. This place is located on the third floor of the building and you can take the stairs or the elevator to get up. We didn't make reservations, but there were plenty of seats. We opted to sit at the bar. The selection of wine and beer at this place is comprehensive. they'll have something for everyone. I opted for some sour beers. We ended up getting goat cheese and mushroom flatbread, grits, watermelon salad and a side order of spatzle. Out of all the items, i really enjoyed the grits and the flatbread. Simple, but very delicious. The watermelon salad was refreshing on a hot day. Service was fairly quick and prompt. The views from the third floor was decent, you can see quite a bit. Great atmosphere, solid service, an interesting (though small) menu, strong beer, wine, and cocktail selection and we are fans of Craft & Vine! We picked Craft & Vine primarily because of it's location between us and some friends who live in Flower Mound. I noticed it was in Roanoke, along with a cluster of little red dots on my Yelp map. "What's going on in Roanoke? What's even there?" I thought. Turns out, it's a cool, new, very corporate, designed downtown area with several restaurants that looked like they'd be fun to try. No hole-in-the-wall homegrown finds, I don't think. But, I'd venture a bet that Craft & Vine stands out in originality. The restaurant is on the third floor. Entering, we were struck by the large and nicely trimmed out space with a variety of seating at pistro tables, long tables, couches, a fireplace, some window-side, and what appeared to be a closed off patio converted into indoor space. Along one wall is a row of taps with a row of screens in front displaying the beers and wines available with per/ounce pricing. We ordered The Roanoke Sunset sushi roll and an Aurugula Salad with Portobello mushrooms. Both were very good. I went with the Shannon Irish Red, a solid beer from a local Keller brewery. Our friends ordered a steak and Smoked Beef Brisket Lumpia app that was too strong on barbecue sauce for me. Paired with a different sauce it would have been more interesting. Our favorite aspect of Craft & Vine was the atmosphere and the sence of isolation we felt from the city by being on the third floor. We had a really hard weekend with a memorial service and a lot of grief. Craft & Vine provided a nice bubble where we stopped noticing the passing of time for a while. For the diners however , at least on any special event day like Valentine's Day or Father's Day , you will experience room temp and sub par food from a bland very limited menu or buffet while being charged a pretty heavy price per meal with an automatic gratuity added at 20% for a table of 4 . And remember we served ourselves , buffet style . Today we paid 45 per person with a 42$ tip added We ate a combo of a breakfast omelet , badly cooked gummy salmon , decent prime rib , room temp salads with warm bowls , sliders , chicken tenders and French fries and one of us had a stir fry but even it was pretty generic and not especially tasty . We visited Craft & Vine on a Saturday evening with a group of 12 people. Not normally the scenario for getting the best first impression of a restaurant. But, the team at C&V pulled it off! My first impression of a place with a bar is always based on the bar--and specifically their bourbon selection and ability to make a classic Old Fashioned. C&V has a nice bar, a great bourbon selection (including Angel's Envy, Basil Hayden and Buffalo Trace) and at least the night we were there--a bartender who knew how to make the classic Old Fashioned. Home-run for me right from the start. Once our group was seated, the service was great. The appetizers they brought for the table were unique and good (deep fried deviled eggs were a big hit). My wife enjoyed the pork loin and I liked the short ribs. We'll be back! read more

If I could give them more stars, I would click away all night! Craft & Vine was the best dining experience that I have had in my 3 years living in North Texas. Everything about this restaurant makes for the perfect night. It is tucked away on the 3rd floor in a downtown Roanoke building. The view at night is so pretty! We had a table next to a large window AND the fireplace. The decor, the music, the lighting...it was all perfect! I would highly recommend Craft & Vine for a much needed, intimate date night or anniversary dinner. The food menu wasn't huge, but the beverage menu seemed endless! I had the Forever Summer Martini and it was so juicy and flavorful! I would highly recommend it! For dinner, I chose the Brussels sprouts and the smoked brisket eggrolls. Both were delicious. I just wish that the eggrolls came with some type of slaw to pair with it. The brisket has such a Smokey flavor - it was perfect! For dessert, I had the chocolate raspberry decadence. YUM! Great place to go if you're looking for something trendy. The charcuterie board was average nothing was bad but it wasn't spectacular either. The fried green tomatoes were not tart like I'd expect green tomatoes to taste. The ribeye had great flavor but wasn't cooked to the right temp the first time. My husband had to send his back because they cooked it medium instead of medium rare. The mushrooms were amazing with great umami flavor. They have mixed drinks, wine on tap, and tons of craft beers available. The hostess and sever were very friendly and accommodating. While they don't have a private space for parties it is a separate space and it's nice to be on the patio with a great view and opening of the windows if the weather is appropriate. We had heard great things about this place. But wow, what a disappointment!! The drinks were great. Really good old fashions, the service was terrible! If you get Jeremy as your server, ask to be moved. He was slow to bring drinks and water to the table. Constantly left empty plates and glasses the I tire dinner. The bone in pork chop was unbelievably dry and over cooked. My wife was also disappointed with the salmon. It took forever to order the food, and took forever to serve the table. This is the most unbelievable part. We order dessert... 3 cheesecakes and a slice of chocolate cake. He serves 2 of the cheesecakes with 2 spoons and 2 of some strange utensil... he then tells us that those were the last 2 cheesecakes, and they were out of chocolate cake. So we split the cheesecakes and ask for 2 more spoons... he tells us they have no more spoons and the strange unnamed utensils was "all that he could find"‍‍... the dinner ended up being $340 for 4 people before tip. Pretty pricey for that level of service. Won't go back to this place other than to have a drink at the bar. read more

We really enjoyed the food and service. Beautifully prepared, unique menu that I would like to try more of. My complaints: parking was a beast and it was a wednesday night, it's LOUD, I can't imagine a full house on friday or Saturday night and trivial as it seems, I had noodles and they gave us a round handled fork. I could not twirl my fork without dropping it in order to get the noodles on. It required two hands to hold the fork. It was frustrating and my wife had the same problem. Trivial yes, but it's all about the details that make the experience. I might also add, in the rafter above is an air freshener that squirts every few minutes, it made both our eyes burn. I came here yesterday evening for a friends birthday and we had a waitress named Michelle or something along those lines. the waitress was older and blonde and she did not seem to want to be at work. Anytime someone ordered a drink it took over 20 minutes to receive and mind you, the place was not packed at all. there was maybe 3-5 other tables there and if you've been to craft and vine you know how HUGE the restaurant is. I really wanted to like this place but it's TOO expensive for the quality of the food and service you get is just not worth it honestly. I'd rather go to downtown Fort Worth or Dallas for prices they have. Our waitress was very unprofessional, when ordering drinks on the menu she waited to tell one of the people in our group that the beer she ordered was out only after everyone else had gotten thier drink and had probably already gotten down to half. Our waitress was extremely rude as well and was trying to rush us out the door at the end of the evening and even went as far as telling someone at our table they were "cut off" when she ordered another drink after we asked for the checks (checks had not arrived yet and took 20 minutes or more to get which is why she ordered another drink) and when the group didn't respond that's when she said "I'm joking, I've never said that to anyone before" so I am not sure why she felt so much courage that night to say it to one of our friends and say that to someone who did not look or act like they needed to be cut off. She tried a joke and it didn't land, she got the right table at the WRONG time. dont waste your money on this place. The view (I mean, it is what it is) is decent. The brunch menu is fun. Probably the healthiest menu I've seen on my little trip to Texas. I'm not super sure of the concept of CVTE, because the menu has an Asian flare to it. I was expecting farm to table gastropub style - so the Asian fusion was a little...not necessarily offputting, but it was a little confusing. Wine and beer list seemed legit. I was drinking mimosas, because brunch. Here's where they lost the 1/2 star. Our server was very cute, but not a good listener. We received wrong items twice.
