Once you have the right address, you'll find a huge shop with plenty of bays and two Dyno bays . Everyone is super friendly. I enjoyed talking to everyone there. I took my 69' Charger there because I was lacking power, having troubles hitting 70MPH, and had oil and transmission leaks. They recommended new intake manifold, new carburetor, and I requested a new ignition system, specifically the MSD ignition system. They told me my oil leak was from my valve cover gaskets. When I got the car back, I felt I had more power and was happy with the way the engine bay looked. Even though they replaced my gaskets, my oil leak was not only still there, but now worse than before. I also started noticing issues with my lights afterwards. After I got the car back, the voltage meter would go from 13 volts down to 6 when I turned my lights on. This was not happening before they worked on my car, but when I called and asked, they said they didn't touch anything electrical. I ended up getting referred to a different shop. I asked them to do a bumper to bumper, top to bottom inspection. My oil leak ( which is now worse ) was from my newly installed valve cover gaskets. Another thing they noticed was my throttle cable was connected to the wrong part of my new carburetor. I don't have a picture now because my car is still in the shop , but will get one of the proper placement. Where they put it, at full throttle, I was maybe getting half-throttle. In fairness, I didn't have them fix the valve cover gaskets because it was already at a new shop and honestly, I didn't get a warm fuzzy when they discarded any responsibility on the lights issue after they worked on it. I also called several times to take my car back and had no follow up on their part. That's when I really decided to try the other shop.

Stay Away from Performance Automotive - Worst Experience Ever!…read more I brought my car to Performance Automotive to replace the brake pads, rotors, and calipers -- basic work that any competent shop should handle. Instead, I got one of the most frustrating and unsafe experiences of my life. They took two days to complete thats totally fine as i don't have any appointment. When I finally picked up the car, I immediately noticed loud noises from all four wheels, and even worse -- the brakes were not working properly. That's right -- the brakes were worse AFTER the repair. Absolutely unacceptable and extremely dangerous. When I returned to address the issue, instead of taking responsibility, the mechanic started blaming "duplicate parts" and claiming it was a different issue -- even though THEY were the ones who installed everything. He became argumentative, rude, and completely unprofessional. The situation got so out of control that I had to involve the police to settle the dispute. Unbelievable. This shop is not just a waste of time and money -- it's a threat to your safety. If your car is important to your daily commute, work, and family -- avoid this place at all costs. What was supposed to be routine maintenance turned into a disaster that left my car in worse shape than before. Do yourself a favor -- don't risk your vehicle or your life here. I had to go find them again to scan the system to cancel the lights. And they said the "lights were on when they got the car." I told them that's why I reached out and offered business. Wasn't it their job to wrap it up before saying the car is ready? Service - I chose them because they said they offer the service to send the car back to me without me having to show up there. And it was communicated that they could have the car fixed within the day. It was discounted after they got the car, saying they didn't even have the parts ready by the end of the day and that they had to wait one more day. Plus, they told me they could only Uber me to their plant to pick up the car instead of sending it back to me. They should not OVERPROMISE on such supporting services as the customer chose them for the sake of time. It turned out I had to cancel lots of errands, which would have been totally avoidable if they had been upfront and decent from the beginning and throughout the service. I gave them two stars instead of one only because the manager showed a good attitude and admitted that they should have done a better job. Anyway, the experience was NOT pleasant.
