I needed a headlight bulb replaced on my 2017 Hyundai Veloster. I know a lot about a lot of things, but cars aren't one of them. Brittney G. at the Rockwall TX Autozone greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. When I wasn't sure of the exact model of my car but I gave her my best guess she checked the other options in the system to make sure they all used the same bulbs. Then before ringing me up, since there were 2 options she pulled the old bulb and made sure it was the right option for that light. She helped me install the dang thing, and she was so friendly and never made me feel bad because I don't know my own car. She was matter of fact, professional, and I was in and out of there in just a few minutes. All for the price of the part! If I'd gone to the dealership I'd have had to wait forever, and you now it would have cost an arm and a leg. Highly recommend this location, excellent experience every time I've been. read more

Not only were they super nice and friendly and helped me find exactly what I needed, but "Jim", the manager, graciously offered to replace the bulb for me! What a breath of fresh air! The employees in this store offer service that is almost impossible to come by today! I can only think of a couple of places in Rockwall where the people have been so genuinely kind and thoughtful. I simply needed to replace a tail light and a brake light on my daughter's 12 year old car. I walked in, was greeted with a kind word and an offer to go ahead and replace the lights for me! No charge! I couldn't believe my ears. And I asked several times if he was sure he didn't mind. He was truly happy to help! Wow! And if that wasn't enough, because the car is older, he had to go back into the store twice to get a special tool to get the old light out. Apparently, it was the original light. I was so impressed and bewildered! Again, I can't remember the last time an employee at any establishment was so genuinely helpful, without being asked or told that it was part of their job description. Thank you Autozone! It's a'ight. I've only been to this location once and we were able to solve the hose problem that O'Reilly couldn't (we just gave up and got a flexible hose). The nice dude that helped us was really nice and super cool but the manager dude who told us (you know, two grown ass adults) that we could look through the hoses but don't make a mess and be sure to put any we move back where we found it was pretty rude, like we were a couple of teenagers. Mr. White Haired manager dude, maybe you talk to your employees that way (and we heard the condescending way you talked to the cool dude that was helping us), but we are customers and hearing how you treat people (customers included) put me off. I'd give this place 3 stars... but will give 4 for the following: -1 for rude manager dude +1 for cool ass dude that helped us +1 for having in stock a 1 1/2inch 26" flexible radiator hose. I came in to buy some parts for my car and he didn't blink an eye when I told him I was going to do this myself he gave me all of the information and advice I needed and I did change my spark plugs, and filters and corrected a problem I had on my car. Jim Davis is awesome! I ordered a part from the year of the auto and when it came in it was incorrect. Jim ordered the correct part from the vin # and it was in the next day. Although it was not anyone's fault, they gave me the new part at what they quoted for the far lesser expensive part! They ate quite a few dollars and Jim did not bat an eye about it!
