Had breakfast here 2 days in a row this weekend! The menu had so many great things I want to try so I will definitely be back. This place was very busy both days so definitely popular. They told us it gets a lot busier as the day progresses so good to get there early or do the Yelp waitlist and then check in when you arrive to get bumped to the top. We got lucky and didn't have to wait either day. I had the chicken and waffles on the first day because "chicken and waffles"! Every place I've ordered this dish from has their own twist on it whether it's bone-in versus boneless chicken, the type of sauce (spicy or sweet), etc. I have to say this may be my favorite chicken and waffles to date, definitely at the top. The chicken to waffle ratio was perfect. It's boneless chicken making it much easier to consume. I was given the option of sweet or spicy and our waitress was kind enough to give me the sweet but a little spicy on the side to try out. Both were tasty but I'll likely stick with sweet. On day two I noticed the KFC Korean Chicken Sammy which sounded delicious so decided to try something new. It did not disappoint. Lots of flavor down to the very fresh Ube bun. I also had the garlic Parmesan fries which were very good. This is place is clean, modern and the food tastes made with clean ingredients. They offer a good amount of gluten free items, which is great since my boyfriend is sensitive to gluten. My boyfriend really liked their gluten free ube scone. I really enjoyed their ube bread pudding! So good! I warmed it up and poured the icing on top. Definitely recommend. There was an issue with my dish, and when we brought it to the server, they were very apologetic. Not a single restaurant is perfect and mistakes are going to happen, what matters is the effort to correct. We are very happy with the way they handled the mistake. I also ordered a carajillo and ube bread pudding. The carajillo was perfect. The bread pudding was big enough to share between 4 people. This is my second time going so I feel I can give a fair review. I don't often review after one visit unless it was absolutely horrible or over the top world class experience. On both occasions the food was good. All four dishes we tried were neither bad nor memorable. The service on both occasions felt like it was a tic off. We visited with few guests on one occasion and jammed packed on the second and the ambiance was different on both occasions. Whether I go a 3rd time is up in the air. This restaurant is great for smaller parties as their tables are small like 4-5 ppl. They do have a private room for hosting larger parties which I've almost booked for department team building. Staff are always nice and friendly here. The food menu is quite large with many vegetarian options. I love that there is a seasonal menu to get new items that we haven't tried before. On this visit I got their seasonal brown sugar oat latte which was way better than sbux. I didn't really enjoy the regular menu item of veggie goat cheese frittata since there was a weird flavor so pass on that, and I usually love that kind of stuff.
