OK, ladies and gentlemen this by far is my favorite place to go to when I can't think of any other place to go they have the best Customer Service ever the place is just amazing. They pay attention to every detail. They make sure you never run out of your drink, but they actually make you feel like they're happy to be there for you. The food is amazing always have to try something different every time I go there though but just to feel welcomed into a restaurant and busy as they are they still make you feel important you have to go and try this. The downside with this is that they're only open until 2 PM. That's it so go there and get the feeling of hey thanks for coming.
We come here every once in a while for breakfast. The service is great and the food is solid. My husband always gets the Jacob's Slammin platter which comes with one of each meat, 2 eggs, potatoes or orange slices, a bagel and pancakes. They do up charge if you get specialty pancakes. These ones weren't really worth it. I got the chicken chipotle wrap and was surprised at how good it was. I was a big fan and would definitely get it again. Chicken was thinly pounded with really good flavor. We'll definitely be back.
The food and service was amazing. Snow caps are a must to start while waiting for orders too.

FOOD MOOD: Sunrise Cafe! Memory lane of my go to back in the day breakfast cafe!! We randomly ended up back at Sunrise Cafe after not going for over 10+ years... and wow it brought back all the feels. My husband and I were in the area and decided to stop in, and I'm SO glad we did. The staff is honestly the sweetest -- you can tell they genuinely care. They were talking with customers like family, and we even watched them sing Happy Birthday to a lady today which was the cutest thing ever The food? So good and made with real, fresh ingredients -- you can just taste the difference. I got the steak & egg wrap with cottage cheese (only ate half because it was HUGE ), my husband got the classic breakfast with French toast (so good), and my daughter loved the pound cake French toast cinnamon swirl -- like obsessed Everything felt so warm, real, and welcoming. Places like this are hard to find these days. Definitely one of those spots that just feels like home. We'll 100% be coming back Ambiance is always welcoming and just like how a cafe should feel!
Definitely enjoyed dining here for the first time and definitely not our last! Our amazing server Nancy recommended what I believe was the spare rib benedict listed in the specials and I was torn between an omelette, Tuna melt, and ended with the chilaquiles! Both were so delicious and we had so much food we at least got to take it home. I was impressed with their hospitality, and I loved how some of the names of their dishes remind you of movie titles, what a nice touch. I appreciated how cozy the restaurant was, and their quotes were a nice addition to the walls. Will be back when we're on that side of town again.
Amazing food! Serve breakfast and lunch all day until closing. I had the pancakes with crispy bacon. The pancakes were just the right amount of of sweetness, with good texture from the crispy edges. I didn't even need syrup. The bacon was nice and crispy salty and crunchy! My mom had the Reuben served on ripe bread. She said it was phenomenal, plenty amount of pastrami.. our waiter was excellent
We had a wonderful breakfast at Sunrise Cafe. The restaurant was busy when we arrived, but we were seated quickly. Our server was friendly. The interior is bright and spacious. The menu has plenty of items to choose from . Our meals were fresh, tasty, and good portions. I definitely recommend and can't wait to try other items on future visits. The restaurant has a great vibe, attentive service, and solid brunch energy with the crowd. Easy, delicious, and reliable, exactly what you want for a weekend brunch.
The food I ordered was very good. I also tried the French toast sourdough and that was quite good. The staff is friendly. I tried the omelette and it lacked flavor so I would recommend getting the other items.
This was my third time to the Original Sunrise Cafe, and all three times were off the chain. From the decor, to the friendliness of the staff, to the quality of the food, this place hits on all cylinders! If you're planning on getting there on the weekends I would suggest getting there early, as this place is very popular... And with good reason! The good news is they have plenty of seating outside, as well as a very nice waiting area in case you do have to wait. Inside, the place has a warm and cozy welcoming atmosphere. Honestly, it reminds me of a small hometown Cafe that is next level. The decor is contemporary, bright, cheery and airy. With very cute wall decor. The staff there has been stellar from the first time we went there. Warm, welcoming, great suggestions, and just overall a joy to be with. We have had Alex as a server multiple times, and this guy is awesome! He must have graduated top of his class in waiter school, because he was funny, friendly, not overbearing, and constantly checking on our table. But the food is the real star! I had the OG breakfast sandwich with extra bacon and it was absolutely everything I would want and more! The hash browns on the side were cooked perfectly. Crispie on top soft in the middle, you really can't go wrong. It was such a good meal, and I always enjoy going there. Plus I have to say, they have some of the best merchandise. The t-shirts have very cute designs, and it would be stuff you would want to wear, not just like a souvenir while you were traveling. Bottom line? This is a must-go breakfast spot. If you are in the Las Vegas Henderson area. It's super easy to find off Eastern avenue, and you would do yourself a favor to go there for breakfast!
This place is so good! I wanted to try everything. I came here after a workout so we were pretty hungry we got seated right away. The waiter was attentive and once we started ordering the food came out pretty fast and it was fresh. You can see the steam from the heat of the food. I made my own veggie omelette! Omg soo bomb. And the French toast was so good! It looks sugar but didn't taste sugary at all. It was crazy. Then we ordered a breakfast sandwich so good as well. I never eat the hash browns , I just never like them , but these hash browns were so good! Ahh just a great little spot. Can't wait to go back and try new dishes.
It always warms my heart to support local businesses that do an amazing job. The Original Sunrise Cafe is one of them. From the moment we walked in the door, they wrapped us in warm blanket. The service was warm and welcoming and best of all, the food is fantastic and fairly priced. You can taste the high quality of the ingredients. And the ambiance is casual and relaxed. Also I love how they give a nod to nostalgia with a case of old timey soft drinks (including cream soda) and candy like Swedish Fish! Remember those?
Such a cute, cozy spot--definitely gives that classic neighborhood diner vibe. Service was super quick, which we loved. And our waiter was so sweet and friendly . The food was full of flavor--we ordered the ranchero breakfast wrap with chicken and it did not disappoint. The sin-o-man pancakes were delicious too, just a bit on the sweeter side.

I have been coming here for years and love it more each time I come! It is very affordable compared to most other breakfast spots, but you still get the same quality and portion sizes. The service is always great as well. The only thing I will point out is that I had to wait until my full party arrived before I was seated, so there were a lot of groups that went ahead of us. But that's not a huge issue, since most establishments operate the same way. Just a heads up for anyone riding in different cars or meeting up together! read more
The original sunrise cafe located on S Eastern by 215. There is a private parking lot with a lot of spaces as there are many businesses. The interior is clean and the staff is always delightful. Came in today for a quick bite before flying to Greece. Ordered up an Eggs Benedict on Texas toast and a black cherry chocolate coffee. The eggs were cooked perfectly with a delicious runny yolk. The potato's were crisp and delicious and the coffee was a pleasant surprise with its flavor profile. The eggs Benedict comes on Texas toast, a bagel, or a Kaiser roll. I chose Texas toast. The Original sunrise cafe is always spotless clean and impeccably kept (they were polishing and cleaning the chairs while we were there.) This is a great Christian family owned business. The food is great, the staff is awesome and the ambience is wonderful. read more
Big big big fan of Sunrise Café and all the lovely friends and faces that work here and make it feel like home. I don't think there is one bad thing on the menu..it has a plethora of sweet breakfast treats, savory breakfast items and even a whole selection of lunch staples - like sandwiches, salads, wraps and burgers. If you are ever stumped on what to order, just take a look around the walls inside and see all the amazing photos of their dishes hung up for display. Some of my favorites over the years are the S.O.B burger (pretzel bun, tasty sauce, crispy jalapeno bacon, yum!), the snow caps (such a fun take on eating a traditional bagel - lightly dusted with powdered sugar on top), a grilled blueberry muffin (ever had a blueberry muffin melt in your mouth? well order this and then you can say yes), the crunchberry French toast (sweet and filling, mainly to share with a friend or few) and the Tijuana turkey (but as a wrap!). Aside from those, another standout item - if you're a benedict fan - is the brisket burnt ends benedict. It is perfect and every bite makes you love it even more. If you're an OC and been visiting Sunrise for some time, they've been offering a featured menu of dishes they used to carry way back in the day for all your flavorful memories. For our most recent brunch visit, we decided it was an omelette day! I ordered a build your own omelette and my lunchmates got a Greek Omelette and the Turkey Taco Omelette. All were so tasty and fresh and with forkfuls of potatoes in between each bite, they really hit the spot. They have outdoor seating if you'd like to enjoy the weather and bring a furry friend with you (and water bowls for them too!), indoor seating at tables and a handful of higher chairs at a small breakfast bar. Keep in mind, though there is a decent sized interior for dining, most tables are set to probably seat groups of 4-6 though they may be able to accommodate larger parties. They are open every day of the week, with exception of some holidays, usually from 7:30a to about 2:00p and usually very packed on the weekends. With over 1.5k reviews on google and thousands on Yelp just under five stars, Sunrise has been around and in town for the past 20+ years for many good reasons. If you haven't visited Sunrise, met Angie and Andrew or any of the other lovely faces like Troy, Kelli, Carlos, Matt, and all the others, you absolutely need to. I hope it becomes your new favorite breakfast spot as it is for myself and many locals in town! read more

With the proliferation of breakfast/lunch restaurants a bit closer to my home, it has been quite a while since I made it back to The Original Sunrise Cafe. We met friends for brunch midweek - the place was packed at 11 AM. OSC will win no awards for decorating. About 20 tables inside, another half dozen seats at the bar, and a few more outside. Jade, our server, was at our table with a smile and a warm welcome almost as soon as we sat down. Service remained excellent despite the crowd. Both my wife and I opted for the make your own omelet with a side of potatoes and an everything bagel ($16). The omelet is HUGE and loaded with the goodies we requested packed inside (except for the avocado which was sliced on top). Absolutely delish!!! And way more than we could finish at one sitting - breakfast for tomorrow! There is a reason the OSC has had staying power despite the number of newer competing restaurants in the area. The Original Sunrise Cafe was EGGCELLENT! Solid five stars. My brother and I both ordered the brisket burnt ends benedict and my dad had the chilaquiles. Talk about flavor! Our breakfast was very delicious and well portioned. The vibes and customer service also escalated the experience to a level that will make you leave with a smile and a full happy stomach. What a great find! We are visiting from out of town and found this place. Then came back again because it was so good! We met the owner, Andrew. He is super cool and spent time sharing his story. I recommend asking his back story! Our waitress, Gracie was awesome! She was so friendly and attentive. You can tell she is a kind and good person just by meeting her. If we come again I'll ask to sit in her section! The food was amazing. We both had the classic breakfast. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and the potatoes are incredible! I also loved the sausage - really really good! The place is cute and welcoming. If you get there and there is a wait...don't leave! It's worth it! (That's why so many come here!) if I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Great job, Andrew, for creating a warm and friendly place for others to gather. What a blessing! read more
Great service, check! Great food! Check. Cute and comfy cafe. Check. Conveniently located near 215 fwy in Henderson. Check. I shared the prime rib Beni with my hubby. He ordered an extra side of protein and it came like to separate orders. Wow! Yum! So good. We ordered the strawberry snow caps to share, So delish. With coffee. It was perf. It's a lot of food. I'm not gonna lie. We took some home. Our server was amazing. Poor guy kept coming by to check to see if we were ready to order. I was having a day so I was sharing with my hubby and it took us a long time to actually read the menu but after that we de use what to share pretty quick. Great service. Super clean and stocked bathrooms. Parking is easy. It's a good sized lot and the parking does go around the side and back if needed. I am driving a big truck so it's easier to park out back. This place is easy to find next to the Starbucks. It is super. Lose to my church so I know I will be back again soon. Check it out! read more

Always happy to be able to go dine at The Original Sunrise Cafe. This family owned and operated restaurant never disappoints in my book. As soon as you walk in you're welcomed in unless you have to wait to check in for seating as this place can be humming with an eager to dine crowd. There's t-shirts available for purchase, specialty sodas and retro-candies too. It's hard for me to choose new items to try when I absolutely love my old standby favorites like the garden of eden omelette or the about thyme plate. They will modify dishes as much as able to accommodate food allergies. They have specialty bacon choices on the menu and the newest one didn't disappoint. Thicker slabs of a "battle borne bacon" seasoned with espresso, Cajun seasoning, brown sugar and honey with syrup to either dip or pour on to the slices. Reminded me of a good pork belly slice. My pickier eater didn't detect the espresso and helped me finish it up! Nice selection of brewed tea, coffee and specialty brewed coffee flavors. The most recent flavor I tried was churro. They do have a dairy alternative oat milk available upon request. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant! We have family that can't wait to go eat here whenever they visit due to the fantastic food quality, choices offered and fair price. Not only that service is incomparable! If you're local and go often enough they really remember you and your favorite choices or food modifications. It's definitely comparably priced and is average cost for the area breakfast and lunch venues. read more

Forget to come here sometimes. The service is always pretty good and everyone is cheery! Coffee is good and the food is consistently pretty good. They missed the Chicken in my salad but rectified that and I think they missed my sunflower seeds too but I didn't notice till I was done. This is a great spot for a breakfast or lunch, clean cozy and bright. read more

What a great place! Angela runs a wonderful place. Tasty food, great prices, excellent service and courteous staff. Stop in. Relax. Get the Crunchberry Snow Caps and coffee. From the moment we stepped through the door of this charming, spotless café to the moment we reluctantly departed, the experience was nothing short of delightful. Andrew and Angela clearly run a well-oiled (and very welcoming) ship. The food is truly superb, with generous portions that deserve a hearty round of applause--bravo to the kitchen team. Service was polished yet warm, efficient without ever feeling rushed--thank you, Jesse, Savannah, Kelly, and Gracie. The back waitstaff were equally gracious and tireless - well done Carlos! And then--my favorite moment. A first for me. As we were leaving, the host looked at us with genuine warmth and said, "I'm glad you were here." Simple words, delivered with sincerity and heart. Well done, Joseph--you made a lasting impression. We were sharing a final meal with dear friends before their departure from Las Vegas for a new chapter - and thanks to the remarkable team at Original Sunrise Café, it became a treasured memory! read more

Finally tried this classic spot! We were seated pretty quickly. We ordered a coffee and were suggested the house made vanilla creamer and it was so good with the coffee! The chesters way was pretty good. Perfectly griddle cornbeef hash. The french toast was also not overly sweet. read more

I absolutely love this place. This is my go to spot for the avocado toast. I tried it with and without an egg and there was no extra charge. The service is always amazing and the restaurant has a cozy vibe. You can dine inside or if you choose to eat in the open air then there are tables outside. We had just landed and were looking for a quick breakfast spot and found Sunrise. We were quickly seated outside on a beautiful Friday morning. Quickly ordered the classic breakfast along with a cold brew. Kathy was a sweetheart serving us and made sure to check up on us. When we got our breakfast I could tell my eyes were bigger than my stomach. Great portions! Alfredo potatoes were so good along with the eggs and meats. I wish I had room for the pancakes luckily my brother did. Local and fresh ingredients too which is in my wheelhouse. Highly recommend stopping in for a quick bite or a long casual breakfast! read more

I disagree with Darcy's answer. The tables were definitely spaced apart and I only saw people wearing masks when walking around. They also offer outdoor seating if you are too uncomfortable dining in.
