Great service, not super busy when we went. Indoor and outside seating. Very clean atmosphere. Lots of great pastries to choose from -- sweet and savory. Latte art was beautiful. Really glad we stumbled into this place. Would definitely return!

Quick stop to try a matcha tonic for the first time. I personally did not enjoy the matcha tonic. I don't think the flavors balance well, so it was a one and done for me. It just wasn't my taste and reminded me a bit of a healthy green juice haha. I will definitely come back to try other drinks though. Loved the morning bun, it was so tasty. My partner enjoyed the black tonic.

I've always heard of their SF location but never had a chance to visit. I was pleasantly surprised to find a newer location in Mountain View in a pretty new apartment/retail complex. Small coffee shop sized with maybe seating for a dozen inside and a few small tables outside. I wasn't too familiar with their offerings, but I did know that it was chef driven and dedicated to quality. And in my short peek, I somewhat was able to confirm that. Drip Coffee (4*) Solid, bold and enough smoothness for me to want to savor it. Not as dark and roasty as Peets but good enough for me, especially to go with their delectable pastries. Kouign Amman (5*) I love B Patisserie's version that is flaky but saturated in buttery sugar, that I can only tolerate 1 of those at a time. Very rich and decadent. I have never seen a version quite like Craftmans and Wolves but that is what I found adoring. The exterior almost seems fried like a doughnut/cronut but totally not sure. It kinda had that bubbled exterior but not blatantly obvious. And there was just enough sugar cooked into it that it made it stealthy sweet, I'd say easily half the amount of sugar as B Pâtisserie's. Not that I would eat 2 of these in one sitting, but I easily could. Croissant Pudding (5*) They do these tiny mini bread puddings that can be heated up. We chose it as is, room temp and it was still fantastic. They use croissants as the 'bread' so it isn't as dense as a regular bread pudding. But their custard to bread ratio was masterful and this version (think they change the variations often) has burst of fresh raspberry and chunks of Dulce which is like a caramelized/browned white chocolate made by Valrhona. (I had to look that ingredient up as I never heard until now.) And to take alternate bites between the flaky and unique Kouign Amman and the creamy and slightly dense pudding with sips of quality black coffee, just initiated me an avid fan of Craftsman and Wolves. Seriously smacks!

I finally made it to try this cafe. Service was good. They had a good selection of sweet items but only one or two savory ones left when I visited. I tried the savory vegetarian cookie with a decaf cappuccino-- coffee was good and presentation was great. The savory cookie was okay, probably not something I'll order again.

Cute bakery and cafe! There is some seating inside and some nice relaxing seating outside although it can get a little windy. Their menu has a lot of sandwiches and coffee! I tried the decaf hot mocha and thought it was good! Not super sweet. I got the yuzu sando and thought it was not bad. They had a lot of celery bits in the egg mixture which I wasn't super crazy about but that's fine: I thought the sandwich could have used some salt so I asked for salt and they gave this cute plastic vial with some salt! The salt was a bit reddish and I think it was a little spicy which was interesting! It did make the sando pretty good. My spouse got this funny succulent dessert! It was interesting! Had some cake, jelly, pudding all in one! It was $18 though but it was basically eating a work of art! Staff was very friendly and welcoming! I would come back again and try other things!

What an amazing treat to find a patisserie with a modern vibe, warm professional staff, handspun coffee and the most exquisitely decadent pastries ever. The highlight of our visit was The Black Tonic, the perfect espresso tonic refresher with just a touch of sweetness, and The Uppercrust: prosciutto, confit agrodolce tomatoes, burrata, balsamic sunflower seeds, arugula, sunflower basil pesto, toasted baguette, house pickled vegetable medley. The prices were surprisingly reasonable for the taste and experience!

Came here on a Sunday morning around 10am and it was quite busy! There's a lot of outdoor seating, some indoor seating, but it was pretty full by the time we got there. We were able to snag a table right as someone was leaving, but we definitely saw people walking around looking for a table. ~the food~ - Fritatta sando ($13.5): Very fluffy bread with an egg frittata + mushrooms inside. Not bad, I really liked the bread as it was very fluffy and had that nice milk flavor, but I think the egg frittata inside was a bit underwhelming. It seems like it was potentially microwaved, but not sure. Not worth the price imo, but not bad! - Black sesame kouign amann ($6): the kouign amann had nice layers, and the caramelized sugar crystals on the outside was super nice! It was surprisingly not too sweet imo! Could've potentially used a stronger black sesame flavor, but that's my opinion! - Croissant : The plain croissant was very nicely layers and was very crispy, but it felt a bit dry? I wished they had warmed it up, but it was pretty good! ~overall~ The staff were very friendly, and the vibes of the shop was very nice! It's a perfect spot for a quick coffee/brunch! I think their pastries are pretty good, but a little pricey!

Tried Craftsman and Wolves for the first time last week and it was very good! Their array of baked goods made it hard to decide but I knew I wanted to try the Rebel Within since it seemed like a pastry thats right up my alley. The salt added to the Rebel Within really makes the dish explode with flavor! We got some seating outside (it's very busy during the weekend mornings). It was a very relaxing morning with a great meal to start our day with!

Solid brunch, coffee, and pastries! This spot is popular and for good reason. Now we don't have to travel all the way to sf!! We tried their sandwich, frittata toast, and a bunch of their cakes and pastries. Everything was so good, fresh, and the cakes had really unique flavors. We will definitely be back!

Many collections of these cakes. So glad the bakery finally expended to Peninsula / South Bay!! A few indoor seating with underground parking spot in a busy and vibrant area!

    Liz Y.

this has easily become one of my favorite coffee shops on the peninsula. I've ordered both their latte and dulce de leche latte, especially when I'm in the mood for something a little sweet. their pastries and cakes are also very delicious. it's a solid spot whether you're stopping by for breakfast or just grabbing a sweet treat. tip: they have guest parking available at the dean apartment, which makes visits convenient!

Got an iced latte after my pilates class! Tasted good and there were a lot of people. Would come back to try their baked goods.

Highly recommend going early because the parking fills up fast, therefore, the seating in the coffee shop fills up fast as well. Our go-tos are usually an Iced Hojicha Einspanner and a pour over, Iced Americano, or an Espresso Tonic. We've tried their matcha as well, which is also solid! Every single time we have gone (which is usually when they open), there is already a line forming outside the door. Depending on how busy it is, we have waited between 12-18 minutes for our drinks (on the high end), but the drinks are always so yummy! They also have an amazing selection of pastries including an everything croissant, cookies, mochi, pistachio raspberry croissant, spinach and feta croissant, and a mushroom croissant to name a few! Their Hojicha Einspanner is sooo good. The Einspanner is so creamy and their Hojicha is the perfect, balanced amount of nutty flavors. Whenever I have ordered this drink, people are always eyeing to see what it is because the presentation is also that good! The Espresso Tonic is also a perfect summer drink and the shot was pulled perfectly. If you want to get some work done here, I'd highly recommend coming early so you can grab a table and to also bring your headphones because it does get busy and loud. It took less time to make this time (roughly about five minutes after ordering), and when it came out, I marveled at how it looked like a work of art! Just beautiful! Each piece of herbed formage blanc flatbread had a nice, crunchy bottom (but not blackened) and a slightly tanginess, with a a good amount of "hen-of-the-wood" mushrooms, sweet roasted garlic and a bed of arugula. My, oh, my! My first bite was a multi-level extravaganza! The crunch of the bread, followed by the aroma of the herbs and arugula, then the saltiness of the cheese, the sweetness of the roasted garlic, the earthiness of the mushrooms - all came together as just a wonderful work of culinary art! This being my first time eating today, my saliva glands just fired off at first bite, causing a bit of intense pain from too much saliva shooting out. But, seriously, this was a very delicious entree, that I enjoyed from start to finish! Bravo for this second joyous experience!
