I've tried several baked good from them and they're really not that great. The latest thing I tried was thier chocolate chip cookie. This was the WORST cookie I've ever eaten. I'd rather have a chips'ahoy or other packaged cookie over this. It was crumbly, flavorless and just plain not good. When you go to break a piece off, it falls apart like soft sand and feels sandy in your mouth. I tossed it in the bin.

Discovered Manresa Bread in Campbell, which always has a long line, so I was happy to see no line at this Palo Alto location. It probably varies by day of the week/time but stopped by early on Saturday ~10am and there was no wait. There's no seating indoors but there's a few tables directly outside or you can probably walk around the plaza and find a bench somewhere. Walked in and love how all the pastries are displayed. Everything look so tasty! Got the hot matcha latte with oat and it's one of the more tasty matcha I have had. Also got the avocado toast - whatever greens they have on top is yummy with that lemon zest! I know avocado toast is a bit different everywhere but I do wish the avocado was smashed but ofc there's utensils for that and I smashed it myself. The smoked salmon toast was also good. The toasted bread has the perfect crunch. Definitely a great place to stop by for a drink or toast/sandwich!

Got an order doordashed because parking is too crazy at Town&County. The food was very fresh. I got a sandwich, quiche and toast with smoked salmon. It was all very tasty. I wanted the olive oil cake with pistachios & lemon but it sold out fast. Next time I will order earlier in the day.

2 Stars for Underwhelming Pastries and Service We have picked up bread from Manresa a few times, and it's been decent. Since I've had their croissants at Verve Coffee, I figured maybe they just weren't fresh there - so I decided to try them straight from the source. Honestly, I was disappointed. The croissants had no crispness, no flakiness, and none of that buttery depth you expect from a really good one. The chocolate croissant was overbaked and tasted burnt and bitter, the blueberry coffee cake was way too sweet, and the monkey bread was decent but way too sweet for my taste. Overall, the pastries tasted more like something you find at a grocery store or a chain coffee shop, not an artisanal bakery with Manresa's reputation. The packaging didn't help either. The to-go pastries were carelessly packed, with the monkey bread stacked directly atop the croissant, crushing it in the process. And the service felt a bit careless. Despite repeating my name and spelling it it multiple times, the staff still managed to misspell and mispronounce it - a small detail, but emblematic of the overall indifference in service. So all of them combined made the whole visit feel kind of flat. Parking is available right in front, but it can be tough to find a spot when the plaza is busy. No interiors seating fyi.

I wonder why Manresa is getting such low stars! We've been to the one in Los Gatos and today we went to the one in Palo Alto and this one I love! It's a big store so there's space and you can see all the goodies and there were so many goodies! We got the Kouign Amann and a lemon shortbread cookie. Both were absolutely delicious. The service was good. The vibe was right and I really liked there were so many things you could buy in the store. Also, it just felt so much more spacious than the Los Gatos store I say check it out.

A grab and go bakery as there's no seating inside. There are some small tables outside around the plaza. Spinach Artichoke Escargot - this pastry was heavy as it was loaded with spinach, artichoke, and cheese. It was super flavorful and I always love a savory pastry. The pastry itself wasn't as crispy as I had hoped but it was still flakey.

I got the mocha latte/non fat milk! Pretty good! I was able to enjoy it even on a hot day like today :) Will come back again-yes for sure!

Ordered the jambon sandwich,(simple and delectable) which is served cold, and the turkey sandwich, which can be made hot or cold. Since it was everything to go, i got the turkey sandwich cold as well. My husband and I each had half of the jambon sandwich to start and were so full we decided to save the turkey for the next day. When we reheated it in the toaster the next day, it tasted just as fresh and delicious as if we had just picked it up from the store! The bread is what truly sets Manresa sandwiches apart--so fresh, so flavorful, it takes everything to the next level. Service was quick and friendly, and the space is clean and super convenient for pickup. We're big fans of their sandwiches and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I recently had an absurd interaction here. I ordered a turkey sandwich and I wanted to add onions to it. They have onions on another sandwich so I asked if it was possible. The person taking my order said yes, but it would have to be on the side. I said are the sandwiches premade? She said no. I asked why they couldn't just put the onions on the sandwich? The person at the register said it has to be on the side, since we don't know how much onion you want. I said I don't care how much, can't you just put it on the sandwich for me please? I was told no. . So I watched them make my sandwich, and take out a large togo container and put three rings of onion in it. I could see them making my sandwich. They could've just asked me how much onion I wanted. Instead, this establishment wasted a togo box with a tiny bit of onion in it and then made me add it to my own sandwich. Manresa, please reconsider this policy.

Wonderful bakery and brunch location offering a good coffee menu. Located near Stanford, it's in a busy center with many shops and retailers. The menu looks great. I didn't order anything as I was really full but the selection will bring me back. Casual. Please come and create your own adventure.

manresa is a bay area staple! i had the ham & gruyere croissant today, but i've previously also had the lemon pistachio cake. both are incredibly delicious. the service is very friendly and ambiance is casual. note that there is no interior seating. overall, highly recommend manresa!

Gotta say, the quiche is really good here. Ordered the Quiche Lorraine and the Potato Leek and Truffle Gouda Quiche. The potato leek and truffle quiche tasted creamy, smooth, and rich as expected. The cappuccino was also well-done with great foam. The service was responsive. And the ambiance was simple and clean. The only thing about this place is that seating is very limited and outside only

I was in the area and craving a coffee and baked good. There are so many options at Town & Country but I haven't been here for a while so I just decided to give it a go. The young woman working behind the counter was friendly, respectful, and professional. She tried to connect with each customer while also being very efficient. It was a little disappointing to see the guy who was making the coffee interact with her as he appeared a bit rude or dismissive when she came to share the orders. Unfortunately, all the drinks are presented in takeout containers. While it's not the best way to enjoy an espresso it hit the spot and at least the container is compostable. The pistachio and lemon bread really caught my eye, but I had a slice of lemon loaf earlier in the week so I opted for the chocolate banana bread. The aforementioned woman working at the counter was quick to point out that it contained coconut, checking to see if I had allergies. The coconut was one of the things that pulled me in... the cake itself definitely balanced the banana and chocolate flavors. It add some moist to it, I personally would've liked a bit more. While there are no tables indoors, there are plenty of spaces to sit outside including the bakeries own tables as well as lots of public seating around the shopping center.

Highly recommend going early because the parking fills up fast, therefore, the seating in the coffee shop fills up fast as well. Our go-tos are usually an Iced Hojicha Einspanner and a pour over, Iced Americano, or an Espresso Tonic. We've tried their matcha as well, which is also solid! Every single time we have gone (which is usually when they open), there is already a line forming outside the door. Depending on how busy it is, we have waited between 12-18 minutes for our drinks (on the high end), but the drinks are always so yummy! They also have an amazing selection of pastries including an everything croissant, cookies, mochi, pistachio raspberry croissant, spinach and feta croissant, and a mushroom croissant to name a few! Their Hojicha Einspanner is sooo good. The Einspanner is so creamy and their Hojicha is the perfect, balanced amount of nutty flavors. Whenever I have ordered this drink, people are always eyeing to see what it is because the presentation is also that good! The Espresso Tonic is also a perfect summer drink and the shot was pulled perfectly. If you want to get some work done here, I'd highly recommend coming early so you can grab a table and to also bring your headphones because it does get busy and loud. They also have WiFi and one single bathroom. Thanks Covour Coffee!

At that price, you expect good service and at least basic amenities. Instead, there were no tissues in the coffee shop, and even the bathroom had no tissues. The machines making the coffee may be the novelty, but that does not excuse poor service, ridiculous wait times, and a lack of basic cleanliness and customer amenities. $9 for a coffee + 30-minute wait + rude staff + no tissues + no diaper-changing station = absolutely not worth it. Ordering is done with the cashier or on a kiosk, both having the same line, and orders are made fairly quickly once placed. The seasonal drinks rotate every few months so it is best to try them before they're gone. While in the area on a Friday night after having dinner nearby, I noticed the poster in the window for their seasonal Hawaiian ube & matcha latte so I decided to try it out. I ordered mine iced with regular sweetness. The drink looked very good with the contrast of the green, white, and purple. The ube mashed puree was tasty with strong ube flavor, however it was only lined around the inside bottom of the cup and there wasn't much at the bottom to actually consume. After mixing the drink, the ube flavor was very minimal and there was quite a bit of ice that made the matcha taste watered down, though I did taste the matcha before mixing. I also did finish the drink rather quickly since there was so much ice in the cup. I'm usually a fan of Maruwu Seicha's offerings, especially their seasonal drinks, but unfortunately the execution of this drink didn't quite hit it for me. The ingredients individually were very good but the combination was not executed well since my drink tasted watered down. Hopefully I had a one off with this drink and this is not the new standard. That being said, I still would come back to try their newest menu items but will make sure to request little to no ice.
