Felix and his crew are amazing. They certified our septic system. Thank you! Our septic tank needed 2 24" covers and 2 4" clean outs. Our septic tank was not right until they came and were able to fix it. The septic tank had to be cleaned out and videoed. What was their discovery? Our septic tank had only one 24"cover . This cover was not heavy duty either. The 4" clean outs were only 3"clean outs. Nothing was right. Also discovered was that our sewage pit had collapsed! We had to drill, hand dig and put in a new sewage pit and connect it up to our septic tank. Now our septic system is complete and certified. This represents a ton of hard work to be accomplished during very hot weather. It took almost 7 days to complete our job. This was hard and very tedious work. But Felix and his crew are always up for the task. They do work very hard. I can tell you that Craftsman Sewers are honest, they communicate to you well and they do not leave you in the dark. You will know about your septic system with them. They do keep things as clean as they can. This is not easy to do. They even hand watered areas to keep the dust down for us. Chris (technician) was able to diagnose the problem, easily explained the process to fix the issue and the job was done in efficient time. Craftsman was asked to clear a blockage in the sewer pipes feeding a septic tank as well as pump the tank after clearing the blockage. I contacted Felix after I had another company do a sewer line inspection on my newly purchased home and they had discovered a break in the sewer line under the city owned alley, but they, along with some other plumbers I contacted, didn't seem like they felt confident in doing the job due to the hassle of dealing with the city. Felix came pretty much right after I gave him a call, did a camera inspection free of charge (unlike the other guys!) and confirmed what the previous plumbers had told me and gave me a ballpark quote on the spot(which, again was more than the other guys did, and was in line with the scope of the job) in addition to confirming that he could do the job, as he does just sewers! While it took a bit of time to get the ball rolling due to needing to, indeed, the permits, once the job started Felix was in and out of my property in good time. He kept me updated about things like discovering that SoCalGas didn't mark that there were lines underneath the alley even though he had done a proper DigAlert request, which slowed his team down a bit, and answered any questions in general that I had! I know the owner Felix from a previous bid at my residence. His professionalism and follow up stood out, so I kept his contact info from over a year ago and contacted him for another project. I'm in the design process of renovating the exterior from wood to stucco and re - landscaping my 69 year old residence. I had a sizeable wood deck removed so this was perfect timing to replace 50 feet of the root infested clay piping. The piping ran under the pavers patio and connected to my main line which is 200 feet long. I had several plumbers bid trenchless pipe (pipe bursting) or risk the chance that the pavers wouldn't look the same or level. In addition, some plumbing companies wouldn't reinstall existing pavers! I cannot say enough about this company. We had a main line sewer back up. I called two plumbers, nobody answered and the second one couldn't come out until the following week. Next call to Craftsman Sewers. Felix (owner) answered and told me his tech was nearby. They came out, put a camera down the pipe, showed us the broken clay pipes and tree roots. They had to bust up concrete, remove a fence, and dig another hole 15 ft away. It sounds so messy but it was so professionally done, you can't tell there was ever a problem! Called and they responded immediately. I thought this was a good sign. So many contractors promise the world, but then don't even do the bare minimum. Made an appointment for them to perform the pumping service the following morning, and they didn't show up. Called, and they said they'd be here before noon, but they were a no show. Called and left a message. No response. Called and left another message. Still no response. This lacks basic courtesy. Most people are pretty understanding if you keep them in the loop. If you're delayed, or there's an issue, then COMMUNICATE that with me, don't leave me hanging. Especially since I had to take off work and rearrange my ENTIRE schedule for the day. All I wanted was a phone call or a text, but they didn't provide either. That's so unprofessional. Completely changed my perception of them. Since I was stuck without plumbing, I had to contact another vendor. These guys turned out to be just another scamming contractor.
