I had to update my review. I came here as usual for the live music outdoors but Instead the cut off the live music for a fight. Most people outside couldn't care less about the fight unlike the people indoors who were there to watch it. When a friend tried to complain, the bartenders were rude and no manager available. Went there tonight for a fun dinner with my family. We had a good time. The meal was really great. Service was great too. Solid pub menu with a twist. We were a large party, so we ordered a bunch of apps and everyone got an entree. Nice size portions for you money. We had the big pretzel, craft tater tot nachos, mac and cheese bites and the really good wings. I suggest the stuffed knish. We left stuffed and happy! read more

Went for a quick dinner with my wife and son to check out this new pub/restaurant. Menu looked good with many app selections, burgers, salads etc. We had the sausage sampler which included 3 types of sausage and a big hot pretzel. This app was very good and was more than enough for 3 to share! Two of us tried the burgers which were fairly priced. Unfortunately the burgers were too over done and dry and not medium as ordered,additionally the fresh cut french fries were luke warm and soggy. My sons special hot dog looked good and appetizing Service was good and the drinks were mixed well There is also a large selection of many craft beers. The new decor was very nice including the bar and many TVs to watch sporting events. I know that they have only been open 2 weeks so I know there are many kinks to work out. I will be back for a second chance however the food still needs some work and I hope they can improve on it because there is potential for this place to work! read more

Went to Craft with girlfriends for a birthday celebration on a Friday night. I have not walked into this place since it was Gibsons. What a surprise !! A beautiful interior and fun exterior. We sat at a pub height table for six and our waiter could not have been nicer. He walked us patiently through the beer menu answering all of our questions, handing out tastings and giving us great recommendations. We shared the giant pretzel and an order of the Philly steak rolls that were fantastic. The menu has quite a selections of tapas, salads. The Sandwiches, eclectic gastro pub dishes and different kinds of grilled cheese looked yummy . One of my friends got a grilled cheese and it looked fantastic. I had the fish tacos , others had the wedge salad and someone had a steak. we all agreed the food was great! At the and they brought over a slice of chocolate cake with a giant sparkler in it for my friend. She was thrilled. Outside was live music and lively bar but on Saturday nights I understand they have a larger band. Will definitely go back with my husband and other friends. I'm a huge NFL fan so probably will go to watch games as well. The only complaint we had is that the music coming from the speaker we sat under was very loud and it made it difficult to talk. I really love the atmosphere and the food isn't terrible. I love their beer selection also. Inside and outside is pretty chill. Can't stand the music though, it makes me feel like I'm in an old persons bar. The bartender was sort of snobby and my boyfriend saw her talking shit about me when I went to smoke to her boyfriend that she talked to the whole time and ignored others. I ordered a strawberry margarita and when I got it it tasted just like ice. I'm a bartender and I know what a margarita should and shouldn't taste like. The first time I went there my margarita was amazing. She gave me a beer instead and didn't give me back the difference from the beer and the margarita. Why should I pay $10 for my beer because you couldn't make me a margarita. So anyway she doesn't know my boyfriend was there and was pretty much bragging that she did that. Good one. I took the $3 out of your tip. Have always been nice to her and tipped very well that was really snobbish and if me and my friends ever come back it won't be outside. Place is fantastic, plenty of drinks to select from with a knowledgeable staff on what goes good with each meal. Went there last weekend and got the pretzel and wings which I highly recommend on both.. plenty of tv's and the manager Tommy was extremely helpful will definitely be back. read more

I can tell from the reviews who came to drink and who came to eat. Apparently the drinkers love the place while those who came just to eat have mediocre to poor reviews. I never judge any restaurant by one visit because anyone can have an off night or day....so this review is about my first visit. I stopped by for lunch one day and ordered essentially a bacon cheeseburger. The food itself was outstanding and as mentioned in other reviews the fries were fresh and delicious. the waitress was very attentive but the one problem I did have - should have been resolved by her. I ordered a glass of soda and drank less than half of it. As it had been sitting around for awhile the ice melted and created a watery head. I asked the waitress if she could dump it out and refresh the soda for me which she did. When I got the bill, I had been charged for two sodas even though she poured more than half of one out. When I questioned the charge on my bill I was told her boss said that everyone had to be charged for each glass. 10 or 15 cents cost for the soda may cost you guys a local foodie....we'll see on the rebound. read more

Stopped in to meet a friend for a few drinks and ended up staying for dinner. I wasn't sure what to expect considering the place just opened but I was pleasantly surprised. The place looked great, the beer selection was phenomenal and the Bartender made sure we didn't hit the bottom of the glass. As for dinner, the place was very busy, the waiter was both pleasant and attentive, the food was on point and got to the table quick considering how busy it was. They have a number of specialty burgers but I just wanted mine simple with a few basic toppings and it came out perfect! Wings were great too, had a basket at the Bar and liked them so much had another at the table!! I'll definitely be back.... read more

I would give 5 stars but one thing bothered me particularly that should not have happened which occurred with the hostess. We walked in at 5pm and were asked if we wanted to order from the special menu that I "think" the prices were half off or $5 or $10, I forget specifically. We said yes, so we were seated in the bar area because that is the area you must be in to order from the specials, not the dining room area. So we decide on some of the specials and then the waiter comes over and tells us that this menu is for after 8pm. Well, then why the heck did the hostess ask us if we were ordering from the special menu where we had to sit at high top tables in the bar area when we could have sat comfortably at a regular table in the dining room? Did she actually expect us to wait to order for three hours from the special menu? If you ask me, someone should have given an okay for us to order from the special menu being it was not us that misunderstood, it was your hostess that doesn't know what she is doing. Anyway, we end up with this amazing waiter named James. What a GREAT waiter. First we order the Mediterranean Platter as an appetizer. This was absolutely delicious. For our main entrees we ordered the Thai lettuce wraps and the Tuna Tartar. Lettuce wraps were delicious, but the Tuna Tartar tasted funny. It was like eating soap with a metallic taste. James took it back and gave me a menu to order something else. I end up ordering The Brook Burger which was amazingly delicious. Ends up the Chef/Cook realized the ginger in the Tuna Tartar may be what I may have thought tasted soapy and James was sweet enough to come to the table to tell us that they think it may have been the ginger in the Tuna Tartar that I thought tasted like soap. They were absolutely right in thinking that because I personally think ginger tastes like soap. I just thought it was real nice for them to want to figure out why I tasted soap. James, you rock dude. I hope next time we eat here, you are our server and a different hostess seats us, LOL. read more

I hope this place makes it. A great place place for some good food and drink. Came here for dinner on a Thursday night, just the wife and i. Got greeted and seated immediately. Nice tall table against the wall opposite the long bar. Lots of room in this place if you are not wanting to sit. They are also building an outside patio. OK, the food, we shared the Buffalo chicken egg rolls. Tasty filling, a little too much wrapper detracted from the delicious filling. Oh btw, the waitress was cheerful, helpful, and patient. I ordered one of their grill cheese sandwiches, "the piglet", it was cheese with pulled pork. Tasty enough, the pork was tender and tasty, not a fan of the bbq sauce they used. The toasted buttered bread it was on was huge like Texas toast, the fries were crispy outside and creamy inside. The wife had a burger with ham , cheese, and a fried egg. Very tasty burger, brisket and short rib ground beef makes a great burger. It was cooked perfectly. I was the only one who sampled one of the many beers they have on tap. I tried the great south bay blood orange, went really well with the pulled pork and cheese sandwich. Give this place a shot, I think you'll enjoy it. Happy to see new places popping up in Lynbrook. Atmosphere is great as is the food. The beer selection is okay, but from a place called Craft you would expect more craft beers. The menu is okay...the pretzel and hummus appetizers were tasty and the burgers were all really good. One thing that annoyed me was that I was charged $5 for two seltzers. It's carbonated water and they charged me for a refill. It's very annoying when places do this. Free refills should be included especially when they are included at most other places like Craft. I do hope they change this minor flaw. I would return but will drink my water without bubbles next time. read more

Wanted to visit this new place with the hubby. The bar area is big and inviting and bartenders helped us with ale choices...great beers on tap! The decor is warm and cozy and lots of TV's all over. I had been here a few times before. And was never let down. So I decided to throw a party here. It was my daughter's 1st birthday. There were about 60 adults and 27 children under the age of 5. The entire process was smooth. Tom, who booked my party is a gem! They are very accommodating and will help with anything needed. Their party package pricing was GREAT!!!! The party turned out amazing. Every guest made mention of how great this place is and even has already planned a meet up for Sunday football next week here. The food? Amazing!!!!! I didn't expect much as most restaurant party food is pretty much the same. Nope! This was not the same. The eggplant rollatini?! And the penne with vodka sauce (which I usually don't care for). Amazing! Everything was great. Every guest was ranting about the food. The staff was attentive and very pleasant. I was able to just have fun at my party and not worry about a thing. They seem like they have been throwing parties for 100 years! I love the design of the place as well! It's a feel good atmosphere. And large enough. So the children were able to freely move about. Can't wait for Sunday football day and for more future parties! I wish I had the option to give them 10 stars!!!! read more

This pub is excellent. The Craft Tater Tots were delicious . The Wings were excellent. The Pig in the Blanket hotdog was very good. The place was very nicely decorated for Halloween. I've tried this place three times... Each time has had it's flaws I think I've had enough giving them a shot. I will only go to this place for drinks now, if even. The place itself is nice the way it was designed is welcoming. The first time I came here, It took thirty minutes to get my drink. I came with a friend and his took the same amount of time for a glass of bourbon. Then after we ordered our food it took about an hour to receive our food but we were too busy drinking to even notice and they tried to comp us with hummus... After all that when the bill came they claimed my card was declined and couldn't process it even though there was sufficient funds and called the bank to verify. I had them speak with the I'm going to say it was the manager/owner and nothing. They made me take the money out of their ATM not to mention there was fee... The service out of ten I'll give it a four, they were overstaffed that night. The last time I was there, the TVs were extremely loud. There was a couple also complaining about the volume they lowered it for a second then raised it back up... The food itself could be a lot better in the sense that the choices are very limited. Very basic nothing special about it. Like I said I'd go for drinks that's about it and their warm pretzels. They are pretty good that's why they get 2 stars, if not they'd get 1. read more
