    Martini swap by Kenny
    Dana S.

Craft kitchen and everything was made fresh and to order. The food was amazing in an elegant atmosphere. Our server Kenny was personable and explained everything including the martini swap to keep our drinks cold.

Lively atmosphere - great fast and friendly service. Food tasted fresh and full of flavor - definitely a place we will return to very soon! I personally had the ahi tuna bowl and it was super yummy! Although the tuna portion was a little on the small size

Super cute outdoor area was having a party of sorts...it looks great as it's covered! On the inside there is a variety of booth and table seating plus the bar. We had a lovely waiter and he recommended the crab cake. We started with blue cheese and bacon crumbled over chip. Devine! I had fried cat fish and shrimp. Super delicious!!! The hubs had the crab cake and brussels sprouts. He said the crab cake was amazing! Service was great and food yum-o!!!

We came here around 2 pm on a weeked, and it was fairly empty. Our waitress was sweet and recommended the frozen "drink of the day", a piña colada. I took her up on it for a mere $7, and it was delicious, complete with a toasted coconut rim. It also made me pretty sleepy for the rest of the day, so it must have had more booze than I tasted. My husband was hungry and ordered the shrimp pasta. I went with the Reuben egg roll app, which could have used more corned beef. The strange part was the wait. We waited and waited for a very simple order, while two four tops who came in after us received their food about 15 minutes before we did. Eventually we asked our waitress about it, and she brought the food out right away. I was worried it had been sitting under the salamander in the kitchen, but it was piping hot. Everything was fine overall, but there is no real need for a repeat visit. There is a pretty nice outdoor seating area, but with Texas heat, it likely is only useable for 3 months outta the year.

Second visit to this location. This time with a party of ten. Restaurant was slamming busy. Our server Cassidy was great. The service was good but the food had a few problems. Our appetizer Coconut shrimp was very overcooked and rubbery. One entree with pork chops had one cooked and one half raw. The sauce with the steak fritte was over spiced. 6 entrees were great. Just in a rush I guess !!!

We finally broke rotation and tried CraftWay Kitchen in Southlake. The service by Aidan (and the food) were impeccable. We tried the calamari, crabcake, and redfish. Holy smokes! The carafe mimosas are on point! If you have not tried it, I highly recommend you do. If you have, it is certainly worth the visit. Mike Hutchinson, owner/chef, came to the table and really made us feel welcome. The service is top tier, just what you look for! PS. We would have included pictures but it was simply too late for photos....

Great experience for my first time visiting. The server Ibrahim was very attentive and helpful when asked about menu items. The drinks were great and I loved the fish and chips. Definitely can't wait to return.

Really solid spot. The whole menu hits, and the food tastes like quality fun without trying too hard. Comfortable, consistent, and always a safe bet. Great happy hour too.

Loved the ease of Open Table reservations. Kourtney was our server. She was friendly and attentive. We ordered they're blue cheese chips and fried calamari. Both tasty. Order the short ribs special over mashed potatoes. It was delicious. When she asked if we wanted dessert, we asked what they had. She brought the menu. We chose the croissant bread pudding and pumpkin special. So yummy. We ate everything. Six hrs later and I'm still stuffed! Dinner was fabulous, service was fantastic, the kitchen paced ourfood perfectly! Thank you so much. Oh, manager came by to check on us as well. Great touch!

Love this new spot in Southlake. Staff is amazing! Everyone is on point. Not sure how they found all the best but they seem to have Large patio in the front and on the side of the bar. They have a unique concept with frozen cocktails, and I have to say the frozen old fashion is delicious and packs a punch. They have a daily happy hour until 6 PM and it does include some frozen cocktails, but not the old-fashioned. We tried several things and everything was delicious made from scratch made to order . The portions are large and the sandwiches come with fries and you can swap at no charge! Add it to the love list!!

First time visiting this place for lunch with friends. The food was fantastic and so was the service. Adam was very friendly and his recommendations were right on. We sat outside and the weather cooperated so overall experience for our first time was excellent!

The Southlake location of Craftway Kitchen has been open for ~1 month and I'm so happy this one is so much closer to home! The service and food quality is similar to the Plano one - which is to say, consistently good. The new space is right off of Southlake Blvd and is very spacious, w a nice open bar area and a covered patio. Of the drinks, my wife loved the frozen Paloma and the Old Fashioned - made w Angels Envy bourbon () - is top notch IMO. The Brussels sprouts side dish is fantastic! Landry, our server, was outstanding. She split our entree for us and was always available for a water refill and to answer questions or just chat. This is a great venue for HH too!

Having just arrived from out of town for an event, I looked for a nice farm-to-table type original destination and I was pleased to find Craft Way. Not only that, the weather was so nice & traffic not too noisy that sitting outside was the better choice, an ambience of perfection for a perfect meal. Too bad I was solo, I would bring everyone here next time. CW's menu had plentiful delicious options, even for a currently gluten-free diner such as myself. Sara was such a hospitable & professional waitress that made me want to return. Spacing and seating were comfortable & just right. Too bad I live 2 hours away or I would frequent CW more often. The only con is I thought my salmon entree would've been the thicker variety instead of thin like trout. However Sara explained that if notified of that preference the chef would've obliged my request. Communicate anything you need & looks like they will bend over backwards to win your business as the lovely food & service was lacking absolutely nothing. Craft Way is a winner! Don't miss this gem if you're in the area.

The restaurant is large with a nice bar area and the service was very friendly and efficient! Apps: Chili Momos (Veg) and Gobi Manchurian - the momos were super crispy and the sauce was very spicy in a good way! The Manchurian was so saucy and packed with flavor. Recommend both! Mains: Himalayan Thukpa, Palak Paneer, Malai Kofta - the Thukpa was the highlight! The broth was perfectly salty with a great umami taste. The Malai Kofta was rich and I enjoyed the cheesy koftas. The Palak Paneer was tasty, but I enjoyed the malai and thukpa more! Dessert: Pistachio Cheesecake - delicious! More like a pistachio ice cream cake, but it was so good and not too sweet! Overall, we really enjoyed our meal! Will absolutely be back!

The chowmein with lamb and chicken had that smoky stir-fry kick, and the momos were a joy to try. The butter tikka momos were creamy and rich, while the choila momos with the chef's sauce brought a spicy spark that stayed with me. The drinks matched the season perfectly. The Gurkhas Old Fashioned was smooth with a twist, and the hot rum punch felt like warmth in a glass just right for winter. The place itself was cozy, with a vibe that made me want to linger. Even during busy hours the staff stayed friendly, though the food took a little longer to arrive. Still, the service felt welcoming. Both the Tavern and Tycoon are in Flower Mound, and I have not visited, but I have made stops at both Jane and now Volstead. And I have to say, I wanted to be impressed, and I just wasn't. When I went to Jane, the cocktails were not up to snuff. My visit to Volstead, the cocktail was fantastic but the ambiance and food disappointed. I came into Volstead to check out the happy hour. They have a discount on wine, and half off their signature cocktails and martinis. They make craft cocktails, which were impressive, but only have one bartender. It takes time, but they could use another. I ordered a Volstead Vesper. It is a bold martini. Josh made it well. It was well balanced. Boozy yet balanced. And I love a lemon curl. A garnish can really elevate a cocktail. Five stars for the drink. I will come back and order another one. I also ordered their spicy tuna crispy rice. It was rather a disappointment. The serving size was generous, the crunch on the rice was there, and then it fell short. The texture of the rice was on the mushier side. The tuna was NOT spicy. It had been dressed in something, but it brought absolutely NO flavor or anything to the tuna. There was a wasabi cream and a sauce (maybe eel sauce) that dressed the plate, but the tuna was bland. A little soy, citrus, yuzu, sriracha or SOMETHING to elevate and brighten the tuna would have been EVERYTHING. So it just ended up being bland tuna, on undressed avocado, on fried mushy rice with some tasty sauces. It absolutely was not spicy. And with a little something something it could have been rather tasty. Even with mushy rice. When I walked in and sat down, there was no music playing so you were just hearing conversations bouncing off the walls. After about a half hour someone decided they needed some tunes, but then it was too loud and it was hard to hear the bar tenders. I loved the decor, and again, my cocktail was really rather good. The overall feel just felt kind of sloppy. It could have been awesome, and fell short. They claim to have Southlakes best burger, and maybe that is a better choice than the tuna. I may give it a shot. It got rather popular as I was leaving, the crowd a bit more mature. And maybe that is their bag. They have great reviews and high stars, I just didn't feel it.
