I chose to combine the avocado toast and substitute the toast for an everything bagel. They asked if I'd like chili flakes on that and... of course! The cappuccino was excellent, with dense, stiff foam, deep flavor, and perfectly portioned. The avocado bagel was phenomenal, with good, chunky avocado, spread thick on a buttered and toasted bagel. Plenty enough to spread along both sides and have a bit left over. The flow of customers was steady and they worked through all of the orders quickly and efficiently... really could not ask for a better quick coffee breakfast experience.

The ambiance, drinks, and service were all great! There is an entrance to Lola Coffee from Roosevelt and another from the back near parking spaces. There is a restroom near the back entrance, and the start to the line to place an order is right near the front entrance. I saw in one of the comfy chairs while I waited for my former student to arrive. At that point, we moved to a regular table and then went and ordered drinks. She ordered a coffee, and I ordered a lemonade. We both enjoyed our drinks which were ready very quickly. There were smaller and larger tables, and there were also countertops along with business cards and marketing items at the back of the room on a thin table. Lola Coffee began with humble beginnings going back to 1992 with a cart, then Lux Coffee, and eventually Lola Coffee downtown. Now, there is even a second Lola Coffee location in Arcadia near 40th Street and Indian School. Today, they serve coffee, pastries, and breakfast. The Downtown Phoenix location hours are weekdays from 6:30 AM to 7 PM and weekends from 7 AM to 7 PM.
