Excellent food for Battle Creek area. I'm from the big city so I was spoiled when I had many options. This will be my go to spot for sure. I enjoyed the ramen and the Thai tea. 10/10 for mine. I gave four stars because the only other thing I would say is The fresh sides that came with the pho could have been fresh. It was slightly discolored and wilted. It a hole in the wall... don't expect a great atmosphere and it's not the cleanest. They serve sushi but no wasabi... make sure you order spicy if you're looking for something that is usually spicy... the general tsaos chicken was bland but the tariyaki chicken was good. It seems like the other couple were friends of sorts. Either way I'm taking time from work to eat lunch here. Help me feel valued please. Service may loose a star for this plus the fact that the billing is confusing and seems almost sketchy. The prices on the menu have been hand modified several times plus there is a random 4% "surcharge"?? Food is very good. I enjoyed the Malaysian Chicken Noodle Stir Fry and mini egg rolls. Highly recommend! This place has great prices with huge portions and their food is great! I got the Malaysian noodles which are labeled spicy but really aren't too spicy if you're not completely spice intolerant. The food had a ton of flavor and very fresh toppings. You walk in to a very open floor plan. There are pictures of the food on the wall that are labeled so you know what it is if you want to order it. There are a lot of good drinks offered, they are quite sugary so just be aware of that. I got the Crab Rangoon- they are sweet and fried to order with about 6. The kimchee fried rice had nice flavor and comes with a fried egg on the top! It has a pretty muted flavor though. Pineapple fried rice- the pineapple tastes amazing! We got vegetables instead of protein in it and it was pretty. The beef ball pho was the main reason for coming. The broth did not disappoint! It was delicious. The soup comes with noodles, and all the fixings inside ( jalapeños, bean sprouts, spring onion, onion, Thai basil) The portions are very healthy! So be sure to save room for it all! I and my family have eaten at NAT at least a dozen times. Food and service are always very good. It is by no means a fancy place, but it is clean and the variety of asian dishes is impressive. I can only imagine what this place could be if they invested a little money on improvements to the dining room and updated their menus. Some of my personal favorites they offer are the Pad Thai, Malaysian Fried noodles and crab rangoons. We've eaten here once and have gotten take out a handful of times. My go-to order is the Shrimp Tom Yum Soup and the Kimchi fried rice. Both are amazing. Sooooooo good! New Asian Taste has a huge variety of flavors on their menu and every single thing I have had is great. Tried the ginger stir fry today which was delicious, a ton of ginger goodness. I had the Malaysian chicken curry the first time I came here and it was delicious also, and my favorite menu item is the peanut curry. The portions are good, the price is good, and the service is fast and friendly. My food for takeout was ready within 15 minutes today. They also have dine-in if you want that. We went there on a thursday evening, around 7:30, not realizing that the restaurant closes at 8:00 PM. We were greeted very nicely and the staff came right over to take our orders. I had Kung Pao with pork where my wife had the Malaysian Curry. The Kung Pao was indicated as being spicy but it wasn't really spicy at all. However, the roasted chili paste on the table took care of that quickly. That chili paste is absolutely excellent! Wonderful flavor. My wife loved the curry, fragrant, tasty, with a large portion of white rice. The portions were large, my wife took half of her meal home, I powered through mine because I had a long evening ahead for work. The restaurant was simply decorated, certainly nothing over the top. The thing that made me instantly comfortable is that there were two other families, I guess also Malaysian, that were having their dinner there... so, the locals eat there? It's GOT to be good. Wow, second time here tried their beef pho soup this time. Taste of broth was wonderful along with the veggies and beef it was great.

Service was nice, area was clean, and the food was authentic and SO GOOD!!! My 2 year old was devouring her miso ramen and side noodles. I loved my Tom yum soup! We've gone back multiple times to try other dishes! the only thing we didn't care for was the teriyaki bowl, but that's fine, our friend enjoyed hers (she got the spicy version) so I guess it's just preference. read more

I just ordered delivery from here. The menu does NOT say that chicken is in their soup. And when you select it, there is an OPTION to add chicken, shrimp, etc. So as a normal person would assume, they would not put chicken in my soup unless I clicked the chicken option. I did not. So when the delivery person asked them to refund the soup, they refused. So I called and she told me it was my fault that I didn't specifically state "no chicken" even though I did not select the chicken option. I told her just make it right because they made a mistake, but she still refused and told me several times it was my fault. So apparently at this place you need to "opt out of chicken" anytime you order something or they might surprise add it to your food. How do they think this is a good business practice? And why on earth could she not admit she made a mistake. The menu is now updated to opt out of chicken go figure. I'm really upset. To add something to a dish that was not listed as a default and then refuse a refund!? I can't eat chicken, so why should I have to pay for THEIR mistake? This place is horrible. Terrible customer service. Stubborn. Also, I got the spring rolls which literally dripped with grease, and the pad Thai which honestly isn't that good and now I'm questioning it bc I could only take a couple bites and I felt like I was going to get sick.
