You have to try their Chicken Kabob, Iv been to all the Persian restaurants in westwood and their Chicken Kabob (Juicy Chicken) is the best in the surrounding area. Great quality and tender meat, it really puts shame to some of the Persian restaurants around where I have had dry chicken before. Hidden around the corner in the alley at the bottom floor of the building west of the iPic theater, this place might be a choice if you're locked away in the office and don't want to venture any farther than your own lobby. They serve breakfast and burgers but their main dishes are Mediterranean specials. With Trimana gone from my building, I opted to grab a quick lunch nearby. I ordered, the chicken shish kabob with basmati white rice and hummus. The white meat chunks of chicken were few and rubbery. Sadly, the hummus and rice were bland too. My soggy pita didn't help much either. With so many Mediterranean places around you've got better choices down the street. For the same price elsewhere, you'll get better portions with flavor. Ordered take out here with my coworkers. I ordered the ground sirloin kabobs and parts of it were raw or undercooked. It came with fries and they were cold (was the same for other people who ordered fries). One of my coworkers ordered the fish and chips and the fish looked processed, something u can probably buy frozen at the supermarket. read more

The sudden closing of Trimana in my building has left us scrambling for an alternative when we need a quick lunch. I seriously had no idea this cute little cafe has been only 1 block away from my office! On purpose, I didn't bring any food to my desk and walked over around 8am to have some breakfast at Cravings. I got the breakfast plate with wheat toast, scrambled eggs, bacon and breakfast potatoes. It's a pretty nice plate of food for only $7! The menu is pretty large, too. They also have a few off-menu things on a chalkboard, such as hot dogs & quesadillas. However, what I really want to try is the kabob style good because the sudden closing of Panini Cafe has left me with no really good alternatives whenever I want kabobs, hummus, that sort of thing. SUPER friendly service and really clean. The owner was greeting all of his regulars, and seemed to know their favorite things to order. I'll be back for sure! read more

The cashier/owner is very rude and disrespectful. I ordered a taco salad with no beans or salsa and she took it upon herself to put no lettuce also and when I asked for dressing she said 'only for salads'. When I received the bowl it was stale and had no crunch to it and the meat tasted as if it was fake and very rubbery. So when I told her I wanted my money back she got upset and told me that I didn't like it because I was pregnant and I explained to her that I wanted lettuce, ground beef, and cheese with ranch dressing. She started yelling and said 'no this is what you ordered and we just made all this food fresh and said that if I wasn't pregnant I wouldn't have a problem with it.' She then stated 'she would never make any special orders for me because I complain too much.' I told her I would never again order from there so she didn't have to worry about me complaining because her food was nasty and it was fake. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone EVER her food is nasty, she has bad customer service, she tells you what you will order, she hates to give out condiments, and no one in her restaurant speaks or understands English. It's okay. I had the gyro wrap and a side a fries with water that came up to a little over $10. It was a filling meal so that's a plus. The French fries were cooked and seasoned very well. The gyro itself was okay. The flavor of the meat was good. Their gyro meat comes in strips that you can tell are fries on the grill. No tziki sauce, but a yogurt sauce that doesn't have much flavor. Large raw onions and a lot of lettuces are included. It wasn't anything special or spectacular. I would come back if I wanted something in a crunch, but it wouldn't be my first choice. read more

I love this place. I used to order lunch from here almost every day because they offer free delivery but I'm trying to cut back to save a few bucks. The beef lule kabob plate was like any other Persian plate in the area: 1 (generous sized) kabob, lots of rice, and a grilled tomato. It comes with 2 sides, so my 2nd side was hummus. The kabob was juicy and had decent flavor. The wait took a while with no other customers, but they said they were cooking the meat from scratch and that it wasn't pre-cooked. They're in the lobby of the building just west of the Avco theater, with a door inside and one facing the side of the Avco There are 5-6 tables outside, but those are always full. The tables inside are pushed together, community style. It's also kind of hot inside because of the grill, so eat quick or take it to go. The selection is decent too. There were over 30 things on the menu, sandwiches, items from the grill, even a burrito or two. Service is quick and friendly, even during lunch.
