We left our nephews cross country meet starving. Saw Crawdaddys on the way in and decided to give it a try. Had fried pickles and boudin balls. Amazing. I had a catfish po boy. Fish was perfect and the bread was nice and chewy, but it was huge. My husband got the alligator po boy which was amazing also. Son throughly enjoyed his chicken sandwich and my girls got cheeseburgers. The fries are some of the best I have had. My husband also got gumbo which my son described as not as as good as mom's but pretty freaking good. That's a major compliment. Mine is pretty amazing because I add a ton of seafood. 10 out of 10 will drive the hour drive from Pooler to try again. Took a ton of leftovers home because as my mama would say, "our eyes were bigger than our stomachs." Airfried later was still amazing. read more

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! about $80 down the drain, they gave us two small UNSEASONED clusters of crab legs, and 2 pounds of UNSEASONED shrimp, with 3 SMALL pieces of sausage, 2 HALF pieces of corn, and 2 potatoes and just called it a day. Honestly if I could go back in time, I would never had gone. To whoever is reading this review and considering to buy food and this place, please reconsider. read more

In town visiting family and decided to stop here. Let me start off saying I have had alot of Po boys in my life and I can't quite describe what made this one so delicious. Maybe the atmosphere or the friendly staff. Could be the delicately crafted breading and seasoning of the shrimp. Better yet the perfect ratio of the shrimp, toppings, sauce and perfectly flaky bread. Whatever it was let me say it was delicious. I highly reccomend giving this wonderful establishment a try. My husband and I visited while in the area. We had the catfish platter, 1/2 pound fried shrimp and fried pickles..the food was so good, seasoned well,hot and fresh. The homemade sweet tea and tarter sauce was also good. We did sit and talk a little with the owner and her daughter they was very nice.. must try if you're in the area read more

There are many options for seafood in the radius that i live in, and i myself can say I've only gotten around to a few of them. Dubbed as "the shack by the tracks" located in ludowici, GA is a yellow shack.. by the tracks, sorry i had too. Now this review is based only on a pick up. I ordered the low country boil, there are many other options on the menu provided by the website on yelp. Exceptional customer service, the establishment had a familiar, unique southern feel.. but at the same time truly hard work and comfort went into this business and you can tell. I would love to dine in on a nice warm day next time and meet the owners if i could! Enough jibber jab! On to the low country boil. Local Georgia shrimp, sausage, corn on cob, red potatoes and your choice in mild or spicy seasoning, i went with the spicy seasoning. Now I've tried enough low country boils to know a good one, and this one is excellent. Huge, wholesome and quality shrimp takes the dish a long way, the seasoning spices it up and shows you the origin of the dish. Potatoes and corn are cooked the right way the way it should, not just thrown in the steamer and added to the dish because it should. It's a culmination of the establishment. Soul and home cooked is what i was left with when i finished my meal, that and a full stomach. Can't wait to explore the rest of the menu! read more

This place is phenomenal, if you love seafood, if you love the taste of Louisiana food, you must stop by this restaurant. It's small in Size but Big in quality and the owners are the most amazing people you can encounter, they know family and family style cooking! The prices are great and the food is excellent! HOLY YUMMM I can NOT stop smiling because it is THAT good y'all. Uncomfortably full because I couldn't stop eating. Everything was SO good! They were so warm and welcome too, which makes the experience that much better! This place is outstanding. By far one of the best places I've been to around here including Savannah and Pooler. This quaint restaurant is the BEST in town, it is veteran owned and family ran, their food is delicious!! The fish and shrimp baskets are a must try, the chicken wings are great!!! Their sea food is always fresh!! Honestly everything on the menu is delicious. One of the things I love the most about this establishment as a parent and youth development supporter is how the owners bring their children during the summer to work with them teaching them life skills and to work for what they want. Absolutely amazing food. We came to visit my son who just moved here and is stationed at Fort Stewart. Everything we ordered was extraordinary. Fried shrimp, fillet fish, shrimp boil, burgers and my younger son had wings!! All of it was amazing and we would repeat same food any day! We ate the food before we got any good pics!! Superb!!! I had the fried shrimp plate. It was literally the best friend shrimp I've ever eaten. Well seasoned but not too salty or hot. I substituted potato salad instead of fries. The potato salad and Cole slaw both had great Louisiana seasonings. Very happy day!!! read more
