Effing delicious. Had 1 lb snow crab, butter and garlic sauce, medium spicy. Came with corn on the cob, potatoes, and sausage. Got a side of Cajun fries. Plenty for the two of us to share. Reminiscent of a perfect mix between LA's 2-hour wait Boiling Crab and popular NOLA crawfish houses, but humbler. Paper on the tables, nutcrackers, loads of sauce, reasonable prices, tons of napkins... everything. The customer service was on point too, and we got great recommendations. I'm honestly not going to make this long because I still can't get over what happened, this was my first and LAST experience at this restaurant. A couple of friends and I stopped here around 11PM on our way home from playing games. All was well; our server was nice, food was quick to be made (15 maybe 20 minutes), food was delicious! We were the last group in the restaurant before closing so the staff around us was tidying up before closing shop, which I totally didn't mind but I was a little bothered by the fact that they were sweeping and mopping by our table while we were eating.. One of my friends got up to use the bathroom and when she got back, she screamed because she said she saw something by our other friend's foot - we all looked down and saw nothing so we thought it was a mistake or something. A server comes with our receipts and we give her our cards for her to run, while we waited we were talking about what she saw because she was hysterical. Maybe TWO minutes later, we see a huge RAT (yes, a damn RAT) run across the floor, climb up the plant display near the front door, and dart into the plants for cover. My two friends and I were bewildered and when I looked at the staff, they were sitting there like "what're you talking about? We don't see anything?" Another lady approaches us in a rushing manner and says "Hi can you guys pay so that we can kill the rat after you guys leave?" My friends and I look at her a bit funny and say "the other lady already took our cards", then she says "oh, yeah" and walks away. The server who took our cards finally brought them back for our signatures and we're a bit shocked. All of the staff, including the owner, see the fiasco that went about and NOTHING. No apology, no compensation for the interaction, nothing. We leave the restaurant and head back to my car (which was parked right in front of the establishment, leaving full view of everything that's going on inside), the employees were just sitting there, talking, doing nothing about the rat issue. No sense of urgency to catch the rat or to find it, the only urgency seen was trying to get us out of there. The only reason we paid for dinner was because everything was going superb until the rat interaction but also because we were so bewildered at what had happened that we weren't processing things fast enough to DEMAND compensation. With how the employees were acting, it's hard to believe that this was their first interaction with this kind of issue. Save your time, save your money. read more

So if you want a kick or something spicy go for either hot or extra spicy because medium spice was not medium spice at all. lol. But other than that the food was good. I felt that they skimped on the shrimp because normally shrimp with heads on (at the other boiled in a bag places) are about 20 pieces and they are large. These were smaller and each of us got 4 pieces. Not cool. It was cooked nicely, but I'm a bit skeptical of their weights. Don't make me bring a calibrated cooking scale from home next time. I had move to Texas and Atlanta in 2015 and 2016, respectively, for work and had awesome, crawfish, shrimp, clams and snow crab, southern style and boy, do I miss it. I moved back here about 2017 and found this joint near my house and I've been here quite a bit since 2018. The food is always amazing and on busy days, pack your patience. The wait staff is always good to me. I normally sit at the bar and do a mixture of clams, snow crab and shrimp and sometimes crawfish. I recommend the house sauce, which is all three of their different sauces tied into one. I also did their fried shrimp basket and is amazing, the breading is not too much and not too little, just right. The food is awesome and so is the service. read more

Such good food, just outrageous. We ordered #6 which turned out to be a huge bowl of crab legs, mussels, extra large shrimp, sausage, corn on the cob and a few small potatoes. This comes steaming hot with plenty of the house sauce at the bottom. They give you a bib, gloves and a crab cracker. All the shells land on the butcher paper tablecloth. The sauce runs up your arms. It's kind of satisfying. To say this was all delicious is an understatement. Lots of garlic, I mean a lot. You probably don't want to go to an important meeting after this. They were careful to give us exactly the level of spiciness we asked for (3 stars.)We finished the bowl but just barely and we came in hungry. This would be a fun date if you know each other pretty well and don' t mind eating with juicy hands. It is a lot of fun if you are a foodie and it isn't the first date. This is an unassuming restaurant in a strip mall but it is quite large. The service was very good and they could not have been friendlier. Everything was clean and new looking - they have only been open 3 months. I sure hope they meet great success, they deserve it. Went here yesterday to try the place out. I went to a similar restaurant in Orlando and was in awe of fresh and good their seafoods are so I had high expectations. Crawfish is good, I can tell right away that it's not fully fresh but the taste is good and meat is still very soft. I had their house sauce for it. Lobster was fresh and it was really good. Although I didn't really liked the sauce I picked for it (Cajun) it turned out to be okay after adding some lime in it. The foundation (soda) machine was broken but the offered me and my partner 2 additional cans of soda for free which was very nice of them. By the way, the lady that was serving us was very friendly. Definitely recommend it to people and will go back. Maybe next time I'll try the Garlic and Butter sauce. read more

The decorations inside seemed like a Pho restaurant to me. Not like typical crawfish ones that I've been to. I ordered 1lb green mussels in house sauce and seafood fried rice. The mussels were ok, the sauce was terrible. They should've used fresh chopped garlic, or at least good canned garlic. I didn't enjoy the thick paste of powder garlic at all. Now the rice. It was way too wet for me. The server said it was how they made it. I wouldn't suggest anyone try their fried rice. The only good thing in the rice was the shrimp. My stomach was upset right after that. I rated it 2 stars because of the nice server. Overall I didn't have good experience here. Would less likely to come back. read more

I've been here months ago.. went recently got a to go order not so good was not like I ordered when I dined in had a weird lingering smell nor did it even look like it did (1 lbs crab potatoes corn)*the first time I came but I could've ordered the wrong seasoning I thought I picked the house sauce which I didn't care for it was too sweet with 3 stars. My dine in experience it was fresh packed with seasonings flavor and some sliced bell pepper not to much sauce but enough to taste. I have so much to say.. so last night (Wednesday night) we go to the boiling Crawfish.. we sit down right away which was great.. our waitress even gave us water as soon as we sat down ( by the way the water is tap water or what I like to call it toilet water because it's disgusting) we order our food after about 10 mins.. it wasn't that busy, but they did have two large groups that night and three waitresses.. now we have a family of four not that big.. anyway we ordered and waited patiently.. our waitress came to our table gave us our drinks (sodas) then about 20 mins she came and gave us lime with seasoning and bibs.. then she said that our food will be right out.. she brought out only my daughters 1lb of crawfish... then 10 mins later she brought out our king crab, crawfish, and Dungeoness crab... then after waiting for about 10 additional mins we had to practically wave our waitress down because the other waitresses one was serving the bigger party tables and was ignoring us and the other young waitress was at the bar with her boyfriend hugging, popping pills and drinking who knows what... really just not paying attention to her tables or other people but her boyfriend... so we finally got our waitress attention and we asked when will the chicken and fries come out because we have a hungry little guy waiting patiently.. she then told us at that moment oh we have a big party that ordered a lot of fried foods and we only have two fryers so it will be a wait... so we asked how long and she basically said let me check! Smh!!! Now I use to be a waitress myself that absolutely means that the food is not even cooking and let me go tell the chef to cook it now... so after waiting for another 15/20 mins I get up.. the waitress comes out and I tell her we just want to go boxes... she apologized and said that our chicken and fries are coming out now I told her that we just want it to go... so she packed up our food that me and my husband didn't touch and my daughter had ate all her food because she had hers first... then the waitress came out the back with our food and our bill and apologized again and told us she took the chicken and fries off of our bill that she will pay for herself smh! Well wtf did you tell us that for after we waited Dam near 1 hour for chicken and fries... The service was horrible, the staff needs training, it's very unprofessional to have a waitress that's working all hugged up laughing and giggling at the bar with her boyfriend and drinking ... she was also wearing really tight clothing that you can see dam near everything smh! Not only that the tables we were sitting at were all uneven and noticed that there were cracks on the table...when the bus lady came around she was cleaning up one of the tables and we seen that they were all cracked and peeling... our bill was about $150 bucks definitely over priced! They have good food minus the horrible chicken and fries they gave us for our son (the chicken was dried out and the fries were super hard) and the untrained staff... there's definitely a lack of communication there... also just to add if they make profitable income they should replace furniture buy more fryers if they only have two! And hire more staff! Have a trained professional come in there something! Shit I can train them for a fee! I only gave two stars and that's for the food and zero stars for the dam staff and the overall experience! Don't waist your time I'll be starting a food truck with Bbq real Cajun creole food and I will be selling seafood too might as well if this is the shit we have! It was a Sunday and my boyfriend and I were craving crawfish so I Yelp'd it and came up with Boiling Crawfish @ a solid 4 stars :) It's great that they have the option for us to make reservations. We got there around 1:15PM and it was pretty bare which we were happy about since we were somewhat in a hurry. I asked the server how long it would take for the food and she said about 15 mins. 5 mins later she started bringing our order out.. Knowing my boyfriend and I, we always overdo it and order way too much! We ordered the COMBO #5 because we wanted Snow Crab and Crawfish. We also ordered a side of fried oysters and fried chicken wings. The combo was a huge portion, big enough for three people. We ended up taking the rest home! Anywho, to sum things up.. The food was finger licking good!!! The service was 5 stars, both girls working were super attentive and friendly. They called me by name (I gave it to them to make reservations) and I'm impressed that she remembered. I would definitely come back again and bring all of my friends!!!! What a cute and delicious surprise this place was! I love seafood and the first place that I compared this place to was The Crab Pot. This place has more options when it comes to sauces, combos, and order by the pound options which is why I like this place. Definitely not as fancy as the crab pot; much more casual and convenient if you know what I mean. Service can be attitude-y but manageable. I'm pretty much obsessed with their house sauce and I try a different combo every time I go. Beware, their house sauce is delicious but it can be very heavy and garlicy for some(my boyfriend is not a fan of it). Will be back soon for my seafood fix! read more

I'm sad to say our experience wasn't as good as everyone else's. We arrived at 530 pm with the restaurant less than half full so not really a dinner rush. Employees were nice enough when they finally talk to you but overall they were running back and forth with only one waitress delegating everyone else. No one smiled. Was told our food would be ready in 20 mins since we decided to order to go (we needed to be home by 645 since we forgot to bring our medication) so that was fine. restaurant: seemed clean until you go to the bathroom - disgusting. For a place that just opened I didn't expect it to look worse than a gas station bathroom. one stall was clogged and that was the one that had toilet paper. Paint peeling by the soap dispenser. trash can full. wait time: Oh boy thank goodness the game was on because they asked for our order 3x. By the time we paid for our food and got out of there it was 725. Almost an hour. with 4 Servers and 7 tables. One party admittedly was 6 people on a table but they left because despite making reservations the restaurant did not have any oysters for some reason. food: meh. Ordered 1lb of garlic butter shrimp mild. Got mush instead. Shrimp were very small. Potato in the bag was like eating mash potato. There was no spices at all. No taste other than butter. No salt. Highly disappointing. Definitely expected better and had been to better places than this. I understand it's a new restaurant but between the lackluster food, long wait time, and uninspired service I will definitely not coming back. read more

I actually don't like to write less than stellar reviews because I understand the struggle and hardship of running a restaurant business. When there's lack of service, taste, and quality of food, there's a need of constructive criticism. It was a Sunday evening and the restaurant was half full. We were greeted sat down to our table. Most of the items on the menu were simply not available at the time we ordered i.e. Live oysters, even cups for soft drinks were out, we were offered bottled of cola instead. We ordered crawfish shrimp n chicken wings and more in accordance with the recommendations by the waitress. I asked for spicy mayo to go along with the order, she was confused of what that was. I then told her to just bring me a bit of mayo and siracha. Again, she had no idea what i was talking about, not knowing the name of this Asian hot sauce phenomenon is simply not okay. We were at the table sighed and shook our heads and got ready for what to come next. The crawfish and shrimp came out in bags that required us at the table to rip the bag ourselves. let's talk about the freshness of these crawfish. A few bites into the crawfish we can tell right away that it has been dead for sometime because of its smell. I know it's a challenge to get fresh crawfish here in this state because of the ban enforced a few years ago regarding invasive species such as red crawfish. These crawfish are almost not edible due its not so freshness, which you can tell by just looking at its color and meat. And the sauce were not soaked all the way in the crawfish. I can tell that the restaurant boiled it first then simply drizzle it on put it in a bag because there were not much of it in there and simply not much flavor at all to go with these creatures. And the house sauce was just a mush and its flavor was blah. How about for the rest of the orders you asked? Well, we had the wings with house sauce, which was overly sweeten caramelized with fish sauce and the meat was dry. We took one bite each. They were opened for a week or 2 the lack of knowledge of food and service are evident. The flavors were a mess. At this current state, they are simply not a competitor to the other crawfish house in Seattle. Heard there was a new seafood boil restaurant in town & the reviews looked pretty decent, so decided to check it out for Mother's Day dinner. Got in at about 5:00 PM & thankfully it didn't seem too busy; however, it took about 5-7 minutes of standing around before someone acknowledged my party. We probably waited about 10 mins after until we were seated, so that was fine. The waitress was friendly & brought drinks out right away. We ordered the combo #9 (1lb shrimp, 1lb snow crab, 1lb clams, 2lbs mussels, w/ corn, potato, sausage), house sauce, medium spicy, w/ "Asian French bread" & rice. The food came out within 10-15 mins, & was surprisingly pretty good! The house sauce is apparently all their sauces mixed together, & was pretty garlicky & flavorful. The medium spice was in fact, medium spice, which was great for me. Seafood tasted fresh, and I really have nothing bad to say about the meal. My only issue is that although the staff seemed friendly, the waitress didn't really swing by as often to see how things were. We had to flag her down a few times to get refills, etc. Also the decor is super tacky. Not sure why they would let anyone write on their walls, but whatever lol. I always want to try a less spicy level of the sauce so I can really taste the flavor. Definitely can't wait to try the others. The house sauce is so strong and overpowering my fingers still smell like it even though i was wearing gloves.
