The falafel lacked flavor (no parsley or seasoning). The hummus and baba seemed questionable as if it was sitting out all day and starting to spoil. Not a bad spot to grab a bite at. I'd actually give it a three and a half stars if I could. It's better than a three but not quit a four in my opinion. I will add that I'm not a huge frequenter of falafel places but I do compare everyone that I visit to the halal guys cart in NYC on 53rd and 6th. Those that know of this cart know that it's the best chicken and rice/deal in NYC. Huge portion of delicious chicken and rice with what must be a crack infused white sauce for like $6! The dining room here is very clean and the staff working here is very friendly and helpful. The prices were reasonable for the location as well. I had the Chicken Shawarma platter and it was good. Decent portion of rice and chicken with a little cabbage salad served with it. The chicken flavor was ok but didn't really jump out at you. I wasn't crazy about the white sauce that's served with the platter to put over the chicken and rice. It actually had a burnt taste to it so I may have just caught a bad batch. We also shared some hummus and pitas. The pita bread was delicious but the hummus wasn't the best I've had. If I'm ever passing through this area again I'll stop in to try the lamb. Id say give these guys a try and decide for yourself. read more

For the first time yesterday I thought of trying this place out since it literally is a 2 minute drive from my place. I also am a big fan of gyros and falafels and was really happy that a place opened up closer to me rather than driving to New Brunswick. The service was quick and people were nice. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma in a Pita to go. The first bite was delicious and I was so happy until I got deeper into the sandwich and bit something that almost broke the bracket of my braces. There were pieces of chicken that were so hard they were as bad as eating a rock. I don't understand how they can serve such inedible pieces of meat. After that experience, I finished my sandwich but with great caution. It was scary because again I didn't want to bite into anything that literally broke my braces. It's disappointing because I was so excited about this..I might give it another try after mentioning to them how dry, burnt and hard their meat was this last time and whether or not it'll be the same case if I ordered again. I really hope someone from their establishment reads this review and works on resolving this issue! (This is really a 2 1/2 from me..but loved everything else about the sandwich) read more

We needed a good falafel place near our office. The food is extremely fresh and the staff is really nice. More than once they've owned up to order mistakes and have given us complimentary bread and falafel for big orders. The pita is my favorite, fluffy and thick. A friend recommended this place to me and my god, it's amazing. The best grape leaves, the best falafel and amazing hummus. They also have a wide variety of fresh salads and imported Israeli juices. The only downside is I'm one mile out of their delivery range. I hear the lamb is also amazing but it's been sold out by the time I get there in the evening. Excellent take out falafel. Everything was well prepared. The pita appears to be home made type, and was excellent. Saturday night around 6PM, we arrived and ordered to go -- two falafel, and a falafel platter, along with a Mediterranean salad. Everything was freshly prepared using very fresh ingredients. Couple this with fast service after ordering, and pleasant staff. What's not to like? We will return. Note: Although there are some tables and chairs, this is NOT to be considered a sit-down place, unless you are in a hurry for a quick bite at lunch. There is no atmosphere to speak of. Great food, great taste, great quantity. Absolutely a great place to try authentic falafel. Quantity was approprate and place was clean. I enjoyed my lunch with chicken falafal in pita bread. Each bite had consistent taste and I enjoyed it with hot chili sauce which is on table as complimentary add-on. Surely recommend this to all food lovers . This place is a no-frills spot in a shopping mall in a fairly uneventful place in NJ( like most of NJ) but the falafel is legit! They don't use that cheap dry pit but rather the fluffy moist pita which really takes the falafel to the next level. They also stuff the pita with Israeli pickles which also enhance the flavor and keep the falafel nice and moist. read more

I went there the other night for the first time. The food was okay. However, I have a severe tomato allergy, which I told to the person I placed an order with. The server making my plate put tomatoes on it, then scraped them off when the manager told her. This was not good enough. She should have made a fresh plate. The tomato left residue that caused me to break out and miss two days of work (so far). So so so so good. Falafel is freshly cooked in front of you - moist inside (!!!) deliciously fried and flavorful. Hands down best I have ever had, and I've had a lot. LOVE this place - LOVE the food. I work in the area and I'm a nut for Falafels. This place is clean - the employees are friendly and gracious - the menu has variety for vegetarians and meat lovers - the prices are spot on - perfection! I need to shout out how their falafel pita was the best tasting and looking food I've had - the falafel fit inside the pita like it was made for that pita - the slaw inside was delightful - overall just fantastic!! 5+ stars! I heard about this place from the owner of CUTTING EDGE parlour opposite to this restaurant. Since then, I always wanted to check out this place. Last weekend, my husband did a take out. V had ordered falafel in a pita sandwich, veg moroccan cigars, vegetarian kibeh. OMG! The pita sandwich was huge with lots of sauce dripping from it. I was not able to complete the entire sandwich in one go. The side dishes were good too. The cigars were like Mediterranean spring rolls. But the star of the dish was the sandwich. One of the best Mediterranean cuisines i have tasted in a while. They are so affordable and the dishes are so delicious. The food is so fresh and are made only on request. I ordered a Falafel with salad and the lady actually made it fresh right in front of me. The price is really unbeatable. I had 2 Pita breads with hummus and a falafel salad and it costed me just around $12 bucks. Anybody wants to eat good Mediterranean food, just close your eyes and go to crazy 4 falafel. This 1 star review is simply from the terrible customer service I just received at the register from the young lady with the straight brown hair, glasses, and the butterfly tattoo on her arm. The customer service was SO bad that I am literally writing this review as I wait for my food to be ready. I'm new to the area and this is my first time trying this establishment. I asked her the different between a gyro and a falafel... MY BAD for not knowing this ahead of time. She replied in a very nasty tone while rolling her eyes and shaking her Head back and forth " I don't know what a gyro is" then there was a gentlemen behind her and I asked "would he know? " and she got frustrated and rudely replied "he wouldn't know...he's new" then she continued to be nasty to me as I added additional items to my order. Really unbelievable customer service. Reading the quotations you may not be able to tell the terrible demeanor she had but body language and tone says it all. Came here recently after hearing this place had a new owner/management. I was so excited! Everyone working here was so nice and helpful and friendly, but the food SUCKED!!!! Holy shit did it suck. Falafel tasted like shit. Tabbouleh tasted like dry shit. No hint of salt or lemon on the tabbouleh. If you are serving middle-eastern food, then you need to have a middle-eastern person working here who knows what they are doing. Nothing has flavor or taste. Even the hummus sucked. And they have deli pickles instead of israeli pickles!!! SHAMEFUL!! Such a shame because when this place first opened the food was amazing, just had a shitty register guy. Not sure if its the same owner now or if its someone new but the food sucks and you need to fix it. Horrible wannabe Arab food. Me and the bf actually felt sick and nauseus after eating here. I feel bad for someone whos never tasted falafel and comes here and tries it, then thinks all falafel in the world sucks like that. Spectacularly weak showing off the bat. I ordered the lamb with half salad, half rice. It was more like a skimpy third (if that) salad and mostly rice. The food was cold upon eating and significantly under salted. There's no side of falafel on their door dash menu which made it impossible for me to even sample their namesake. They had respectable grape leaves, but also left some condiments I paid for out of the order. I would've returned for it, but they were far enough away where it wasn't worth the half hour round trip. read more
