I recently went to the Chop Stop in Ontario. I wish it was closer to my office and I would likely go more often. I'm trying to eat healthier, but I'm sort of in a mostly food desert where my office is. After the drive to get there, I ordered the Ahi salad that comes with cucumber, mango, oranges, wonton chips and a vinagrette. It was good, but I probably wouldn't order that particular salad again. I do really want to go back and order a do it yourself salad as they have a ton of ingredients that I think would make a perfect me salad. That all said, what I really loved is that they will give you the salad so it looks like the picture, OR they will chop it all up and mix it together with or without the dressing! I LOVED that part. I HATE having to cut up my salad and try to mix everything together in a bowl that is always too small, so that was great. Stumbled upon Chop Stop while driving through ontario & looking for a healthy lunch option. They have lots of preset bowls, but I particularly loved the build your own salad option as they had lots of toppings to choose from. I built my own salad with kale, quinoa, green apple, beets, cucumber, edamame, wonton strips, and seasoned chicken with lemon vinaigrette dressing. It was decent and reasonably priced, although the chicken tasted like canned chicken and ingredients didn't seem as fresh as a Sweetgreens or Cava salad. Cashier was kind, portions were fair, & service was quick. There is limited indoor seating and nothing outdoors, so ambiance is more of a grab & go takeout spot. Love this place! The wraps are so good, I've tried 2 different kinds. I've placed an order in store and also using the app. I think the app is faster because the time of pick up is pretty accurate. I am only giving this four stars right now because I haven't been there physically yet. A colleague recommended it and I've been getting food delivered to work when I don't have time to get a lunch. I have to say I'm crazy about this salad wrap. I get from there with salami in it. I don't know what it's called, but it's lovely. My mom lives in Rancho Cucamonga and I even pointed it out to her, so I hope to go in person one of these days so I can actually give a better review. But my work friend gets the green goddess salad and it's lovely also and she enjoys it. I think I might actually get a wrap delivered today because that sounding good even at seven in the morning!
