They have impeccable service, super fast and always refilling the drinks and taking away the used plates. There is always some type of traditional music on in the background and the murals almost look like they are popping out at you. Sushi sushi sushi .... Galore!!!! I have not found another place like this with such a varied selection. Hibachi has meat, poultry and seafood with plenty of veggies and noodles. Then there are salad and dessert options and hot food items along with soup and rice. I am going to miss this place. FANTASTIC variety! i counted 66 (SIXTY SIX) dishes on offer, not including the salad bar, or the Vietnamese Noodle Bar (where you can make your own Pho), or the BBQ or Habachi - and not including the sushi bar - just amazing - and on a Saturday night, just $14.99! In Fort Lauderdale, we pay $22 per person and there's nothing like the variety on offer - they have great vegetarian options too - loads of great veggies including bok choy, mushrooms, noodles etc., and great meat options - including ribs, duck, seafood etc - macaroni cheese, pizza too for those who don't like it - it was packed - mostly locals who know what good value is - food was good - but I do have two complaints. YOU LOSE BIG POINTS FOR NOT HAVING ANY PONZU SAUCE!!! I loaded up my plate with sushi, only to have the guy behind the counter say "no, we don't have ponzu sauce." Seriously! If you offer sushi - you MUST offer ponzo! There was only regular soy sauce on the tables - not even low sodium - and I detest soy sauce - way too salty - so that was a HUGE disappointment. Also, no BJ roll, which is my favorite - but they did have loads of other rolls so I can't complain. Second complaint: the food was not very hot - a bit more than luke warm - ***NOT GOOD*****so next time I go, I will talk to management - they gotta do something about that. I did try the Pho (vietnamese noodle soup) - GREAT ingredients - but I found the actual Pho broth (the only thing that was truly hot in the place) to have an overwhelming scent - most likely fennel or aniseed (probably fennel) - but I found it very offputting - it tasted fine - but I just could not bear the smell. Almost a chemical smell, not like the Pho from my favorite vietnamese restaurant here in fort lauderdale. Problem is easy to resolve though - Next time, I'll load up all the ingredients, and then use the broth from one of their other many soups, wonton for example - I'm sure it will be fantastic. I LOVE that they have that option - no other buffet I know of offers a vietnamese noodle bar - when we're back in Orlando, we'll definitely go back, but I'LL BE TAKING MY OWN PONZU!!!! And getting them to make sure the food it HOT! For $14.99 you just cannot beat the value - it may even be cheaper during the week - I WISH we had a place like that down here! read more

I've now been going to Crazy buffet for a few years. I had a friend suggest the place and I'd never been one for buffets and due to the location and name of it I was hesitant to try it but happy I finally did. Huge selection of food! Including sushi and even a bit of dim sum. Both my girls love the place! Kids can be picky about food but since they have such a variety of food they always leave the place with a full tummy! Plus it's a great place to get them to try new things. Absolutely recommend this place for picky eaters and a stress free place for parents. I've gone to many restaurants where we've ordered food just to have the kids maybe pick at it, but at Crazy Buffet I never have to worry about that and well what kid doesn't like the freedom of running around and picking their own food and ending it off with a bowl of ice cream! We come here once a month usually in a weekend. They are so busy on the weekend. I like sashimi so we usually come here for their tsashimi. They also have sushi, hibachi, pho noodle soup, oyster, and many more. I think this is the best place for chinese buffet. Sometimes the service is not that good because they are busy so they kind of forget the tables. The restroom is messy and not clean. That is the thing i dont like about this restaurant. read more

They have a hibachi area, fresh raw seafood area with crawfish and oysters and shrimp, hot area with lo mein, a variety of meats, rice and spring rolls. The dim sum area was just ok and then there was a soup area. We enjoyed all the goodness of the food , it was flavorful and very fresh and the restaurant was very clean. My only negative was when we were leaving , there was a huge sign that said " NO PETS" and there was a couple at the hostess area with her 2 French bull dogs and no one on staff confronted them. We noticed the faces of the people walking in and out in disgust as we love dogs but not inside of restaurants. I did ask for a manager as people walking in were leaving because of this and once I made them aware , I left . I hope it helped as I know it would have not sat well with me either to walk in to dine. Anyways, rant over lol , I'd come back to eat here again and tear up some beer and sake with my sushi!

The booth we sat in had a beautiful and asymmetrical heavy wooden table top polished to a brilliant shine, and there were a surprising number of diners there at noonish, on a Tuesday... what's that tell you? Now: the food! *First, for the technically challenged, be warned that the menu is available via phone and QR Code. If you want a printed menu, too bad. Otherwise... We began our meal with Agedashi Tofu, which is fried cubes of tofu that have a magnificently thin layer of a crisp skin encasing melted tofu, and there's a perfect sauce to dip them in. I have been thinking about these for an hour now and can't even imagine how they are made. A delicious magic trick! Next, we had an Eel and Shrimp Tempura Roll, a Shrimp Tempura Bento Box, and two Nigiri and Sashimi lunch specials. The Tempura was light and crisp. The bento box included a spring roll, fried rice, and gyoza, all perfectly flavored. The Nigiri and Sashimi fish was served cold and absolutely fresh, and was sliced generously. The Nigiri and Sushi lunches included a California roll, 4 pieces of sushi, and six pieces of sashimi, and really was a lot of excellent food for a bargain $24. I almost forgot that we started, along with the Agedashi Tofu, with a very subtly flavored miso soup with tofu and seaweed. This was also perfection, with just a breath of ginger and perfect salt. I hope I've convinced you fans of Japanese food to try this restaurant. If you're new to Japanese food's many varieties and intricacies, or hesitant to eat raw foods, there are always cooked meat and fish dishes like Tempura or Teriyaki you can order, and then you can explore by tasting the more exotic things your friends and family order. Maybe you'll develop a taste for it! If you already have a taste for Japanese food, don't pass up an opportunity to eat a wonderful meal at Mikado, in MetroWest.
