For the area and surrounding competition, Crazy Cow is a nice reprieve from the usual fast food and rest stop options for busy travelers. Hubby and I stopped here as part of our 5-day drive from NJ to CA and we were just super tired of fast food at this point. Our request to sit by the window to keep an eye on our pups was accommodated, and overall the service was polite and friendly. Food portions were generous and my salad was very fresh. My hubby got the French Dip au jus and he said it was comparable to one we had for double the price at a high class restaurant on the East Coast. Add some BANGIN' tater tots (crispy on the outside! Light and fluffy on the inside!) and a side of fried cheese curds and you have an outstanding comfort meal, especially for those who have been on the road for awhile. read more

We like this place. The food is good, and the service is hit and miss. It was more miss than hit last night. We came in an hour before closing. We waited a long time on our server, and eventually she told us she'd be right there. Several other servers came by while we were waiting for her to come back and asked if we'd been helped. Finally one started taking our order and explained they were out of soup, so our only choice was salad. But then our server finally arrived and we had to give our order again. Then after ordering again we were eventually told they were out of unsweetened tea. After a long wait our entrees were brought by other servers, and we had to explain we had never gotten our salads. They also refilled water glasses. The salad was fresh, cool, and crisp. The Cajun shrimp pasta was quite tasty and was seasoned, but it would be hard to call it Cajun spices because the spice level was so low. The staff is very friendly, but the service is very inconsistent--and if you have to go late, know they may not have what you ordered. read more

Came in for after game dinner with family. Dry friendly staff. Place is newer and well kept clean. Our meal was served pretty fast with everything nice and fresh. Huge salads are the bomb here! Stopped here driving through Beaver and was really happy with the food. The burger, grilled cheese, and desserts were all delicious. Service was a bit lacking unfortunately. I tried flagging down our waitress shortly after getting our food and only succeeded 30 minutes after we finished all the food. She never even glanced our way that whole time. We never got drink refills, even after she did finally come over. Getting our check took another 15 minutes. I'm writing this 10 minutes after leaving the check at side of the table and my card still has not been picked up. Well the first and foremost reason for stopping at the Crazy cow is the deep-fried Oreos with vanilla ice cream and caramel and chocolate drizzled over the top and whip cream. My son likes the Buffalo wings and we usually get the sticky finger chicken salad with ranch dressing. The café is very unique and a great stopping place as you're driving in and out of Utah. Basic diner with very poor quality ingredients. Maybe this is what the locals like?? Daughter ordered chicken fingers with tots and she couldn't decipher which was which, it was just a pile of fried food. The Mac n cheese is made from a well known blue box but been sitting out for a couple hours. Sticky fingers salad consisted of iceberg lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped cucumber that was challenging to find, and chicken that is soaked in corn syrup. So much that I had a small bowl of corn syrup soup left on my plate. Whole meal was so unsatisfying if we weren't all starving we probably would have walked out. Would have given it 0-1 star if not for Sheri's very friendly and accommodating service. read more

The ambience was very much in the cow theme which we enjoyed. The menu had a good selection of choices. My husband ordered breakfast while my daughter and I ordered lunch. Stopped at this place by mistake, and we are so glad we did!! We had a great experience, from the layout, decor and cleanliness to the fast service, tasty food and all the COVID recommendations for stopping the spread. The waffles were so delicious, they brought me back to being a little kid. They tasted like pancakes but with the nice crust of a waffle, crunchy and soft at the same time. We've been here twice. Once about 6 years ago and once just recently. The service was just as good as it was before. The food was fast and great tasting. We had hamburgers. We had tried to go to the cheese curd place to eat lunch and the line was waaaayyy too long... So this was a perfect alternative. Food was just as good and much much faster with less people. I have never stopped to eat in Beaver until now, though I've passed through many times. It was a pleasure today to stop at the Crazy Cow Café and enjoy some good road food that was a pleasant surprise. To start the service was wonderful, and our server was very nice to answer our questions. A Sticky Fingers are very good and the Malibu Chicken sandwich was fantastic. From the outside the place looks real legit, inside the restaurant is newly remodeled and clean. The hostess was apparently super busy as it was a Saturday morning, booths and tables were full as we opted for the counter. We sat down and it took 25 mins to order our drinks, another 10 mins for our order to be taken and after a 45 minute wait our food arrived half correct. We had ordered over medium eggs and my wife's were very runny to the point she ate about a 1/4 of her plate. Apparently the wait staff was overwhelmed and a bit short handed. Some customers were complaining of a 55 wait that they got up and left . I'm all for supporting local small business but the Crazy Cow needs to up their customer service game. Our servers did a good job however too many apologies means something is wrong on their support. My bacon eggs were correct and good, pancakes delicious. Please learn from my constructive criticism, as I've ate breakfast many places. You got a lot positives, don't blow it. I'll be back to see if things improved. read more

Cozy place for breakfast or lunch. We had the country fried steak breakfast and it was all delicious. The steak was easy to cut into and the sausage gravy had large chunks of sausage in it. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the hash browns were cooked perfectly, too. Even the toast was perfect. The chicken tenders were sweet and crispy and the pancakes were huge and fluffy. My coffee was served Luke warm, I mentioned it to the server so she said I'll make a fresh pot, guess what it was the same way. My wife's tea was also luke warm. So this is what was interesting, three couples came in after we were already seated and had ordered...all three got their food before us?? When I asked the server about it she apologized with no reason given then returned to our table with a sweet roll and said "here's a little something for you two because your breakfast is taking a little long". WHAT? It's now been 40 minutes and two of the three couples has already finished their breakfast and left!! Here is the rub, all we ordered was an omelet with toast and my wife had biscuits an gravy. Let's just say that none of the food was served hot, the damn toast was so cold the butter wouldn't even melt! Soooo we waited 45 minutes for a cold meal, let's just say we would rather starve than ever go back to the CRAZY COW CAFE! The waitress was nice but had to keep apologizing for a poorly run kitchen. Save yourself some time, go across the street to McDonalds...at least you'll get better food and faster service!!! read more

Super friendly. Super slow. Sadly, underwhelming food. Getting to the point: if you are in a hurry this is not the place for you. Ordered two adult grilled cheese sammys, without the onions and bacon. Put mustard on one and a tomato slice on other. We chose this because we figured it would be quick. Waitress (extremely friendly) said it would be about 10 minutes. 15 minutes later we were standing in the foyer waiting and asked another person that worked there if she could check on our order. It seems A small group of 10 apparently had their order in and eclipsed our order. I can only conclude it was more than the cook (referred to by the worker as 'she') could manage. So we waited. "5 more minutes" we were told. She apologized for the wait. 10 minutes later (I hated watching my watch getting more anxious this was taking so long) the original waitress came out with our order bagged up, apologized for the wait and added that she put "mustard" on the one that was with mustard. I hurried out to our car to get moving and the 2nd worker came out with napkins. Thankfully too... our grilled cheese sammies were extremely greasy, undercooked and messy. Pics included. I did recommend to the 2nd woman (she appeared to maybe be an owner or manager) that it would have been much better if we had known it would take a long time (after reviewing the other folk's experiences here I should have seen that but, again, we were in a hurry). She thought we had been told, I let her know we were told 10 minutes but it had been at least 25. She apologized again. Not sure how to help make it better but it seems there is an issue with slow service. Maybe the cook needs some help, or a new cook who can handle the workload? Will probably avoid this place on our next journey through town (LA to Salt Lake) read more

We look for places that are accommodating to gluten allergies and being as we were practically in the middle of nowhere this was a great surprise to find! The restaurant was nice, the server seemed very knowledgeable about gluten allergies and was very friendly. We tried the special which was like a french dip on a gluten-free bun and the hamburger, all were delicious! We would definitely visit again if we are ever in the area. read more

Been planning for this stop since planning the trip for 3 COVID months and it delivered. Called ahead to place my dinner order and spoke to Jen. She could be the most pleasant person I've ever met. She remembered my name when I arrived 15 minutes later....and then remembered me the next morning when I took advantage of the free breakfast for hotel guests. Not only addressed me by name but asked how I enjoyed the fried Oreos I ordered the night before. She should train everyone on the art of customer service.
