We will go back because they know what service means! This is a bar that happens to serve food so it does have a fun, vibrant and at times loud atmosphere. We were greeted by staff members and provided samples of the daily drink which a few in our party opted to order! Others in the party selected other fun drinks from their hilarious Monkey Cocktails! Of course, there are traditional drinks such as beer available by the bucket load I might add! One couple in our group had an issue with their slab of ribs; however, the staff elevated their experience (and ours) by suggesting they provide something that would meet their quality standards and everyone was happy! Just the way the service was handled, the food was delicious and fun cocktails we will definitely go back to this location that we have overlooked for years thinking it was a bikers bar!! We went to Crazy Craig's Cheeky Monkey Bar in Branson after a nighttime show because it was open until 1:30 am We were greeted with a free house special drink. The food was phenomenal! It was smoked there by the front porch. The music, however, was so loud we had to take our food outside. It looked like a dump from the outside, but is really worth the visit. read more

I feel like I lost at least 30 days of my life by visiting this establishment. It was filled with smoke (smoking allowed) but one of the only places to grab a late night bite. Food was very mediocre and extremely limited for a bar menu. Service was decent, the best server we had was named Mya, I think. We were looking for a place to have a drink and a little downtime outside of our vacation condo. Cheeky Monkey was a great fit! From the time we walked in to the time we left everyone was very helpful and friendly. Multiple employees helped us while we were there - they work as a team- and we enjoyed that experience! We were greeted at our table with a small sample of one of their signature drinks - it was tasty and not too much in the glass. There were 3 of us, we all ordered drinks and a couple of apps to share. The drinks were mixed well but a bit on the pricey side at $8 each, the food was tasty and great pricing for the size. I loved the flavor in the brisket quesadilla! The chips and dip were tasty too, but I hadn't realized it was a cold dip. That didn't stop us from eating it all! Masks are optional here, tables are spaced apart nicely. They have a nice stage for live music though there wasn't live music going on while we were there. There was music in the background and it was a nice mix. Overall we enjoyed hanging out here and found it to be a nice spot. Would definitely come back! read more

Had a tremendous two-night experience at Crazy Craig's Cheeky Monkey bar last weekend. The bands were great, especially Saturday night. The service is always friendly and efficient. Kelsi took good care of us both nights and remembered us when we returned on Saturday night! The place is always packed with an extremely diverse clientele. College students, Social Security crews, locals, tourists, brides-to-be, divorcees and everything in between!!. It's an intimate venue where tables are shared happily. We met interesting people and became fast friends with many. And we danced like there was no tomorrow! Oh, and the food was top notch as well. Highly recommend it! read more

OMG! I love a dive and has to be one of the best I have ever found! When you walk in the staff and patrons cheer you welcome you (just smile and wave) and you are also greeted with a shot of the drink of the day. Who doesn't love that kind of hospitality? Only down side was there is smoking inside but they do offer a shaded patio so... ‍... we just went with it. Drinks were great. I ordered the Curious Monkey (bartender's choice), no clue what it was but it was awesome. So awesome in fact my husband took it and I had to order another (again no clue what was in it). This time, we ordered a variety of beef brisket, 2 full racks of ribs, smoked beef sausage, pulled pork, and several sides of beans, cole slaw, and potato salad. The barbeque sauce that accompanies the meal is a major bonus for zesty appeal. As expected, there was hardly any food remaining for a hungry party of 7 afterward. Was told when visiting Branson you have to come here so not sure was I was expecting. It was def a "happening place". They get very busy and when we walked in it was standing room only. A negative for me was there is smoking allowed inside. Not a fan. Left smelling horrible of cigarettes. Another negative was we ordered the rum punch bucket off someone's recommendation. Tasted like pure sugary juice with no alcohol. Shared the brisket nachos which were also just ok. They were cold. Not what I expected also. One positive is they have live music, lots of dancing, people have fun. Just did not like the drinks, food or cigarettes so it was a miss for me. read more

Went here yesterday evening after a day of swimming , with a friend and our teenage kids just to eat, as soon as we walked in we were pushed away with rudeness from the girl bartender over my daughter having her swimming top on and shorts, in which I told her we are eating outside and just came from swimming, agian was rude , so we went outside and waited at a table , then had to go in and ask for service, the two guy waiters were very nice to us but also made us feel unwelcome at times we spent 140 dollars on a family dinner and the side were little dipping bowls not even enough for one person, will not be going here again! read more

I think some of the reviews are for the Cheeky Monkey in Fall Creek. The location in Branson has been open less than a year and they are a no smoking facility. Unless something has changed since the last time we were there in March, 2024. The food is really good, especially the Burgers! read more
