This place is fantastic. I have the food here close to ten times and have enjoyed it every time. The owner is a great guy. He is very friendly and truly cares about taking care of his customers. I normally get the food delivered and it is still amazing after the short wait. The tenders are actually the breast meat and are cooked to perfection. I have had all the different levels of heat and must say that the hottest option is pretty damn hot, but still flavorful. The buns are soft and fresh. The fries are good and a must in my opinion. I just had the jalapeño burger and it was amazing. The meat was juicy and seasoned well.

Had the chance to finally check this place out through the most recent Yelp experience, thanks Jenavieve! They offered their crazy mac and cheese and also their crazy fries, I did a little half and half of eat with their spicy version. I'm usually a fries type of person but their mac and cheese was actually pretty good in my book, super creamy and large macaroni noodles to soak up the sauce. For dessert I chose the brownie cheesecake. It was okay, nothing fancy. The piece that I had only such a small portion of 'cheesecake' so I can't really say much about it. Only downside I would have to say for myself is the location, as it's located inside of the gas station. Just be mentally prepared that it's essentially a grab n go stop. Overall I enjoyed what I had and would love to come back to try other items on the menu.

Great flavor and very chill staff. The sauce was so good on to the of fries. And despite it being absolutely coated the fries and chicken still retained most of their crunch and wasn't soggy! I chose to not get mine too spicy but it still had a lil kick which was great! The cheese cake brownie was pretty good too, the chocolate syrup on top and slightly warmed made it event better. They are located inside the gas station but also have a drive through which makes them stand out more in my opinion. Quality was great and service was pretty solid.

Good old comfort food. Every morsel was finger linking good. The chicken was tender, the fries were crispy, and the mac and cheese was cheesing. Everything was perfectly seasoned and not over or underseasoned. I got mines with some spicy sauce and extra dusting on top. Come out and try the food if you haven't!

Late night eats? Come here. Located inside Chevron. Melty mac and cheese, fries, fried chicken, burgers, and warm brownie cheesecake. They also have a Crazy Hot spicy chicken you need to sign a waiver for. Looking forward to their sit-down location opening in Davis on G Street soon.

I'm a big fan of Nashville hot chicken, so I've had my eye on this restaurant for a while, but it is a little out of my way. Now that I have finally tried it, I think it's worth the trip. I called in my order because I had some questions about their spiciness levels. My call was answered quickly and I ordered a #2 with one "hot" slider and one mild for my mom. The restaurant is inside the gas station and I had no trouble finding parking. As you enter the restaurant is on the left side--you won't miss it with their striking mural on the wall. They were freshly frying my chicken, so I had a little bit of a wait which was totally OK. One thing I noticed was how clean the counter and kitchen area looked, and there wasn't a strong oil smell that you sometimes have to marinate in at *other* chicken shops. There were two staff members who were very attentive and friendly--there were also lots of unnecessary apologies about the wait, which wasn't even that long. Now to the most important part of the review: the food. I had to drive it across town to bring it to my mom and it was still hot. The fries were incredibly crispy--one of the reason I dislike crinkle-cut is that they are sometimes mealy and limp--and were well-seasoned. My mom thought they had an old oil taste, but I didn't notice, probably because I kept dipping them in the delicious sauce provided. "Slider" is a misnomer--these are sandwiches with a massive chicken breast on top. I was interested to see the spiciness of the chicken comes more from the seasoned breading plus extra seasoning vs a hot oil or sauce, and honestly I was OK with that because the cole slaw, extra sauce, and pickels provided more than enough lubrication to compensate for a drier breading. Be prepared for a messy meal. The chicken itself was NOT dry--it was perfectly cooked and juicy for a chicken breast. Honestly, one slider totally filled me up so bring a BIG appetite if you plan to eat two. I thought the "hot" level was a good approximation of your typical Nashville hot, and the mild had a good flavor despite zero spice. To my knowledge, this is still the only hot chicken restaurant in Woodland, but it's worth a try for more than novelty: the food is good, the staff is friendly, the portions are generous.

Driving through sac headed up to Oregon. Look up for something that was off the freeway and this spot came up. Wow!! This spot is a sleeper. If you live in the area or are driving through, you need to stop and try it out. If you need gas this place is located inside the gas station store. Nice and clean. Everyone was friendly. I ordered the OG smash burger with grilled onions a side of fries and my favorite orange crush. Was talking to one of the guys there. He was very friendly. Was just asking me if this was my first time I said yes and he said I would love it. In my head I had some doubts just because I love burgers lol. But yes he was absolutely right. I loved it. It was extremely delicious. From the first bite a took I wanted more. The fries well for me they were excellent nice and crispy seasoned just right. Let me also tell you while I was waiting a lot of people were just showing up to pick up their orders. This place was popping. Anytime I'm in the area I will definitely stop by.

Well this was a three star review but after my visit the other day it's hanging between a one and two star. The first time that I finally got food here I had to bring it back. What happened... after I left, I reached over in my car and grabbed a tender. It wasn't crispy at all. I call and spoke to the manager, he asked when I got it because their chicken is crispy and crunchy. I brought it right back, less than 10 minutes later I showed him. They cooked me a fresh order. He opened the box for my approval, the "crust" moved not cracked, I just took it. Well three days later I went to the original location in Carson City, theirs was crispy. Two different worlds. I stopped in the other day. One employee was outside on the phone, the one inside was busy filling condiment cups. She finally turned around and saw me then panicked. When she finally asked if I needed anything, I was so tired of waiting that I just said forget it and left. This would have been a great thing for Woodland but the execution is a failure. Is it's still here in a few years, I'll stop in again.

Service was well and price is reasonable for the amount of food you get as well The crazy fries are good fresh and the crazy spice level is pretty spicy compared to Dave's Hots reaper spice level, but still was really good. It is located inside of a gas station which was pretty cool

I went there with the intent of mead wine tasting but ended up not since I had driving duties. [Fun fact: mead wine has less alcohol content than grape wine.] Instead I ordered lunch and washed it down with their honey ice tea. The iced tea had a prominent honey taste. Hubs luved his, but my tastebuds were confused. Odd though because I luv honey and iced tea. We also ordered a Ruben sandwich $22 and an order of waffles. The sandwich was classic with the familiar flavors. Nice quality cut of meat, thinly shaved. The waffles $17 were topped with blueberries, slivered almonds, and orange blossom whipped ricotta cream which I asked for on the side. The ricotta cream was divine.
