I usually stick with my favorites--the Drunken Tomato & Pepperoni pizza or Olive Farmer's Rigatoni Bolognese--but decided to branch out. Everything was delicious! You can tell they use quality ingredients, including flour imported from Italy, and it really makes a difference. Honestly, it's hard to go wrong here. Special shoutout to Wendy, the manager, who is always so friendly and helpful. The entire staff is welcoming and makes every visit enjoyable. Great food, great ingredients, and great people. One thing I love is they provide recipe cards with suggestions on how to use their olive oils, vinegars etc. to make awesome dishes. That's how we first discovered the incredible vanilla bean olive oil waffle recipe. Another great service they provide is the ability to sample most everything. The store features other local products like jams, honey, granola etc. They have the OliveSpa line of body care products also. So many great items to shop for! Many years ago we took the tour and learned all about how the olive oil is made. And you cannot forget the Del Piero Kitchen where you can come dine for breakfast, lunch, dinner or brunch. Oftentimes on weekends they have festivals or live music on the patio. It's just a happening place - definitely worth checking out.

They were offering free milkshakes to the first 100 participants and we were lucky enough to score one of those gifts! We decided to just take one and share it and decided on the Frozen Hot Chocolate, which is made with Blue Bell chocolate ice cream, hot cocoa mix, chocolate sauce, marshmallow fluff and a "kosher" marshmallow. I'm just not a big sugar fiend so I found the shake to be extremely sweet and gooey...wife loved it! I didn't try the marshmallow but she said it was good and she could tell it was homemade. We decided we would try the store in Gilbert at some point this summer to see what other goodies they offer. Overall, a good treat and thank you for the free goodie! It was nice to browse while waiting for my number to be called to order my tea. I was so tempted by all of the fun drinks that they have on the menu, but I stuck to what I came in for the decaf flavored teas. Today I went with a blueberry lavender and it is so delicious and such a pretty color. I also love how great of a deal it is for a 32 ounce large tea. The staff was also very friendly, and they were also working very hard to help every customer who was trying to get a bakery item or drink. They've evolved a lot of the years from a honor type system with smaller offerings, to a staffed and larger selection of goods. They are consistently open, which is great because a lot of the store in Agritopia are hit or miss, and the Farm Store never lets me down! Their prices do to be expected for such a curated store, but not much more than what equivalent items would be priced.
