Their surprise bags are $6.99 with no added tax and can include greens, herbs, and whatever else they have at the end of the day. There is a garden and they offer classes and such here. I even saw some soap being sold in my brief look-around. My bag came with a lot of parsley, romaine lettuce, kale, a large grapefruit, and French bread from WF. A good variety and amount for the price! The greens still had their roots attached, which they offer with their seedlings so people can start their own garden. The vertical farming method looks so neat. Was glad I stopped by to support this business and recommend others do so when going to Mesa!

The spinach, kale and the romaine I picked up there today was all huge and gorgeous, very beautiful greens - I am impressed at what they can produce there. Also if you're very interested in vertical gardening they have everything you need to get set up and started in your own home for those people that maybe don't have the outside space or are in condos or apartments. Over the years, I've seen a lot of changes at both stores, but the Apache Junction location has really stepped up its game while still maintaining the hometown atmosphere that has kept me coming back for so many years. On my most recent visit, Michael Ray provided outstanding customer service. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the produce department, including delivery schedules for seasonal items, and was familiar with products throughout the store. When I asked for help picking out a watermelon for a party, he didn't just point me in the right direction--he took the time to dig through the display to find the biggest and best one. It was a huge hit with everyone, and I truly appreciated the extra effort he put into making sure I left with exactly what I needed. Michael Ray has been a wonderful addition to an already outstanding staff. Employees like him are the reason customers continue to come back year after year. His knowledge, willingness to help, and genuine commitment to customer service reflect the values that make Superstition Ranch Market such a special place to shop. We happened by again recently and flund that they have indoor eateries, small business shopping and a gift store of sorts. I love the Agritopia Farm Store! It's a great spot to visit while at Agritopia, featuring lots of…read morelocal goods from trinkets, stickers, t-shirts, toys, books, food items and they even have a refillery section for some selfcare products. I often visit them for gifts or when I have visitors in town to get a nice line up of local Phoenix/Arizona artisan offerings. It's not big by any means, but they pack a lot of quality items into it's small footprint. They've evolved a lot of the years from a honor type system with smaller offerings, to a staffed and larger selection of goods. They are consistently open, which is great because a lot of the store in Agritopia are hit or miss, and the Farm Store never lets me down! Their prices do to be expected for such a curated store, but not much more than what equivalent items would be priced. It's a great stop if you're looking for a souvenir, gift, want to treat yourself or just want to support local!

Clearly, this was the big draw for many of the people coming to check out the market (or we just had poorly timed our visit with when the free yoga class was over). We did look around, but sadly, ended up not getting anything from the handful of vendors that were there. It's a great location and has so much potential. There just needs to be more vendors/booths and maybe even a bakery that offers bread would be major plus to improving this market. Will be back, but I don't know if it will be anytime soon.

10/04/2025 Visited the Downtown Chandler Farmer's Market for…read morethe first time. It wasn't located in its usual spot that day due to a different event. It was quite small compared to other farmer's markets that I've been to. Vendors were selling AZ honey, sourdough, baked goods, skincare, charcuterie boards, sandals, farm fresh fruits and vegetables, and more. The strawberries from the farm were a beautiful red and looked so good. There was also a BBQ vendor selling sandwiches that smelled really good. I got a pretzel from one of the sourdough vendors, and it was delicious! Loved the texture. I stopped by 10:19 Coffee to check out their menu, and everything sounded so good! I love matcha and blueberry, so I got the Boo-berry Cloud. The barista asked for my sweetness preference and if I like the taste of matcha. Based on my responses, she recommended half sweet with an extra shot of matcha, and it was perfect for me! It was also adorably decorated with a "spooky ghost" that I assume was made with cream (see the photo!). That day was also the first time that the market had young entrepreneurs participate as vendors. I heard that they plan to do it once a month now. There were 7 kids booths selling snow cones, Halloween items, glassware, lemonade, dog treats, cookies, bracelets, and other trinkets. The one selling snow cones also hosted a few contests with the young entrepreneurs, with the prize being a free snow cone. All of the kids looked like they were having fun. Overall I had a nice time walking around the market with my mom. I will definitely come back as the weather starts to cool down!

It has moved a few times since it started back up 5 or so years ago and is now currently in downtown Mesa off of main need the arts center. I do miss it being at Pioneer Park, though the park wasn't perfect, it was a lovely spot. That being said, downtown location isn't too far from its original spot. The market feature a few various produce stands, bread and lots of food or self care options. I prefer the more artsy stands myself, but still like checking it out every few weeks. All the local vendors are friendly, showcase great items and though you could check it all out in 30 or so minutes it's a great way to start a Saturday morning.
