Trustworthy and competent. John has done minor repairs for me a couple of times and has impressed me as helpful and knowledgeable.

Delivered the vehicle to them Monday. They knew from me what was the problem and could have ordered parts before I even arrived, but decided to wait until I arrived on Monday. Monday, when I was being dropped off, I was told repairs like I was asking for take one, maybe two days to fix. The price they gave me AFTER DIAGNOSTIC was more expensive than local dealers for the same work. But since the car was already there and the appointment was made that was fine because I didn't have to work until Wednesday and if they had it fixed by Tuesday, no issue... Tuesday rolls around, no phone call, no communication. Late in the day I finally called and asked for an update. They told me it wasn't done and it looked like it would be one more day. So, I made plans to get a ride to work, and plans to pick me up. An hour before they were set to close, still no call, and we call them again, after I made plans to get off early and get a ride to get to the shop only to find out they still have even started on the work. I won't use them again, it was my first time, and suggest you don't either. They seem to want your business and then will hold you hostage until they finally get around to whatever you brought them.

Because the tire pressure is fine, they recommended that I not replace the sensors until I need my tires replaced. I took their recommendation. To top it off, they did not charge me for the diagnosis. Scheduling online was easy, and the front desk person was very nice. Excellent experience. I'll go back. Thanks!

Their complimentary multi point inspection with pictures (free with paid oil change) gave me insight into the health and status of fluids, ball joints, suspension, and general condition of the car. This level of transparency is amazing, because I've definitely been to OTHER shops that would have told me all of the fluids need to be replaced without any proof. I highly recommend Olympia Autoworks for your service needs!

They assured me that they would provide this info before doing any work and that the assessment would not cost me anything. Instead, over a week after bringing in the car, they completed the work without telling what work would be done, without notifying me how much anything would cost, and it cost hundreds of dollars. No notice or breakdown of parts and labor as promised. The techs end their shifts around 3 and the person who answered the phones and called to let me know the car was ready could not tell me what work was done, why it was done, nothing. If you opt to work with this garage, get everything in writing up front and in person and do not leave your car with them if you can help it.

It was an arranged appointment yet the person who I was to meet briefly shook hands and then never saw him again. They tried to convince me longbed tundras all have the 32 gal gas tanks which was a blatant lie. I own one and that's what I'm looking to change! First guy tried to sell me a truck for rediculous price wasting my time and not familiar with the options available. We will check our inventory they said...1/2 hr would pass and then I get yet another employee. Must have been passed around to half dozen by time I was done. And then his manager came and repeated the lie. He says well I'll go check the specs. Never saw him again. Finally the sales manager took over and dropped price another 10k below what the first sales guy claimed they couldn't go below. That finally got my interest because it's actually a really good deal. But then comes the next problem. After taking like 20 minutes for appraisal he shows me Kelly BB supposed valuation that's 1-6k less than the actual Kelly BB value and 6k less than Edmund's trading value. And of course kbb is often less than real market value too esp for trucks. I'm fine with them needing to make a profit I get that. Just don't lie to me. Just tell me they can pay market rate and apologize. Be kind - hmm that's Chehalis Toyota. Andy their sale tax is 1% less. I prefer buying local but sucks when they don't treat you right.

Come to find out, after searching their entire lot and service bay, that the Rav4 was at an offsite location getting a windshield replaced and being a Sunday, no way to go and look it over. I was PISSED. And the sales person, leading me around on the wild goose chase, immediately tries to get me to look at other RAV4's. NO THANKS. Come to find out later, after a contact from sales manager John, that not only were they not going to Toyota certify the car (CPO program) due to a front bumper needing replacement, a quoted $1,000 repair to replace it that they were unwilling to do, the new tires that I was TOLD EARILER were already installed, were in fact not. The existing tires at 60% tread life. To sum up, 4+ hours, round trip to see a car that I had VERIFIED was on the lot, was in fact NOT THERE. I can only ASSUME... 1.) Get me down there and upsell him on 2 RAV's that were there. And, 2.) don't install new tires, (again, I was told that they were already installed) we'll just tell him tires at 60% and let him eat the cost. 3.) Don't replace the bumper, let him do it.
