This was my first time there and it was something so good unlike anything I've had before. Every one there was super friendly and eager to help explain to you how they do things if it's your first time there. The ice cream stays frozen longer and it's so good down to the last bite. It takes a little longer to get your order since it's not made like regular ice cream but definitely worth the wait. I had fruity pebble ice cream and added the waffle bowl for extra $ but if you get the large size, the waffle is free. And it's so worth it! It's crunchy and flavorful to the last bite. So light and amazing. I also added fresh strawberries and bananas. They really take their time with flavor and presentation as well. It's a little more pricy then regular ice cream places but so worth the extra splurge. Whenever I'm in Bakersfield again, definitely a must stop shop! As for some people that may complain about the price, cleanliness, how long the line is or how long it takes to get your creation ... go somewhere else then where it's ready to be scooped from a bucket. It takes no longer here or costs any more than it does Cold Stone Creamery. If parents would pick up after their children the place may be a bit cleaner. Ice cream is fresh, no samples. They make what flavor u ask for. We had a few and they were all so creamy and delicious. The chocolate combustion is crazy chocolaty but the ice cream is not too sweet. The cotton candy was delish not overly sweet. The staff was not very how can I put it.. happy. But maybe an off day what do I know it's my first time there. The place is cool looking and delicious flavors. Omg. With 19 of them behind the register and one of me... After a $16.00 bill and only 2 single scoops-you'd THINK that wouldn't be too hard. I got a small fruity pebbles and small cookie butter with a premium base. Was told you couldn't use any of the sauces they use as bases (which are simply syrups) as syrup to put on TOP of your icecream. I was just fine with their dollar extra for a little swivel of salted caramel-but was told no because that's "not one of the sauce options." Omg. Please PLEASE think a TINY ITSY bitsy bit outside of the box. It's sitting RIGHT there and is a syrup. Next. They didnt even put the cookie butter in the second ice cream. Just-the base by itself. When I called customer service (the number on Yelp-I was trying to get the store) they asked if I wanted the number-I asked to be transferred if possible becauSe I was driving-and the guy says, "Do you have a pen and paper?" Omg-I.AM.DRIVING. "Well, do you want the number?" "Yes please!" Then I'm put on hold for over 4 minutes and all I can think is how much faster I could find the damn number and how was this customer service??? Comes back and says they don't have a number so can he get "all of my info" (like I haven't been on the phone long enough to ask if the girl simply forgot the cookie butter) and they could get ahold of me. I explained that, no, I'm a third shift nurse so Id much rather call them on my convenience than theirs-could he please check again for a number. He's gone over 2 minutes and tells me he doesn't have one. Clearly I'm guessing he called the franchise because it took me LESS THAN 30 SECONDS to get the number on FB. Then I had to scream for them to hear me. Scream. I'm not kidding. Scream. And THEN I was told they'd have to call me back!!! Omg. Stab me right now please. I asked to hold. After 5 minutes a girl who CLEARLY remembered my order because she knew exactly what I got on the side said I could come back in WITH MY RECEIPT for a new one. However-after walking a mile there and back-it SO was not worth it for the terrible service and 19 girls forgetting a single ingredient they need to make $16 worth of icecream anywhere near decent. I went on a Friday at around 4:30 and there was no line, the cashier was super nice and helpful, she gave me a run down of the whole menu since it was my first time. They finally have a chain here in bakersfield. The service should be slow cause the people that works there are still new. You can't expect them to fast right off the bat. I came here with high hopes of finding a fun ice cream place to eat at (especially since I'm lactose intolerant), but alas, this was not the place. I went here with my daughter after school, mid-week. It wasn't too busy, and there was no one in line when we walked in. Were we greeted? Nope. When I got to the cashier, I asked him for suggestions since it was our first time in, and he acted pained. Uhm okay... well hopefully the ice cream would be better. I ordered mine made with the almond (or was it coconut milk?) and my daughter just had regular milk. We each added one mix in. I ended up paying close to 15$!!!! For 2 people! Upscale ice cream restaurant that uses Nitrogen, oooooohhh!!!!!! Me likey! Very clean interior with white decor, and green branding. I had the specialty coffee concauction. It ran me about $10. Which is way more than im used to paying. Coldstone i end up paying anywhere from 4-6. Here i can see myself spending 7-10.
