Really disappointing. I've had the ice cream before and I really like how creamy it is, but the service here is absolutely horrible. The staff just jokes around with each other and doesn't really speak with guests when inside. My husband and I were there an hour before close and we were told they were only selling the pints in the small refrigerator behind us because they were closing..... it takes y'all an hour to close? I work in food customer service too, and that shouldn't happen.... We looked in the fridge and it was kind of a mess so we left without buying anything. We knew exactly what we wanted and they served the people right in front of us.... Really disappointing and terrible service. read more

I was really looking forward to ice cream tonight but unfortunately I didn't get any. I walked in wearing my mask as required but both of the employee wear unmasked. The young lady breathing all over the ingredients as she made the ice cream of the people who had just ordered. Shocking thing was they were selling masks in the store. So willing to profit from it but not willing to hold their workers accountable. Unacceptable to me and frankly I was grossed out by the lack of sanitation. Why: walked in and three separate couples in line without masks. I get it. They're annoying (the masks) and its getting old but I understand the purpose of the mask. It's wasn't worth $11.10 for a small milkshake (9.50 plus 0.75 chocolate syrup) A total RIP OFF for milkshake that my son said "it tasted like what we make at home" but it wasn't as cold to taste. Several customers asked the two girls working there how much it would cost and they keep shrugging their shoulders saying about $8 but the register determines how much. Me and my partner came here to get some simple ice cream but as soon as we came in, workers gave us dirty looks. The cashier was at the register but when we walked up, she left to get headphones and put both of them in before we ordered. When we ordered they offered a large or small of what i wanted and i said large but then informed me that or that certain order theres only a small. Went with a friend tonight for the first time. What a surprise! There were so many choices...it was a little overwhelming. Lucky for me there was a video display of the top flavor combos for each type of mix they offered. This helped greatly! Everyone was super friendly. Customer service is TERRIBLE. Employees are unprofessional and rude. One employee slipped as she was turning around because the floor was disgusting and wet. For $7 (smallest size + 2 toppings), it is WAYYY overpriced especially for the scant amount they put. My friend and I happened to be in the neighborhood so we stopped by at the grand opening. There were so many people and good music that it attracted us to wait in line and check out the ice cream. I have to say this place is amazing! Not only because the ice cream was so good on a sunny hot day but because the service was excellent. Very friendly people. It was pretty decent. It wasn't bad but it wasn't Coldstone either. I think for a place that's new it's important to have items that are listed on the menu. He wanted a float but there was no root beer. Sad face. He settled for a cherry cola milkshake but it tasted really syrupy. I got the traditional milk base, birthday cake, and cookie dough. Then several other customers came in after me also unmasked and not keeping distance. The employees are wearing masks. Just waited an hour for 2 small ice creams. There was one customer in line before us, how does that make sense? Staff members were rude, looked bored even though they had plenty of work to do, and had no sense of urgency. They are all high school kids. No adult or manager in sight to supervise. One guy who had also overpaid for his ice cream and was waiting an hour walked out and yelled "you guys suck" without his ice cream. The employees didn't apologize to any of the customers for the wait. To top it all off, the toilet was backed up so I didn't use it and when I went to wash my hands because I felt disgusted after just touching the bathroom door, there was no soap. Would be really interesting for the health department to do an inspection here! If the employees are using that bathroom and then not washing their hands, that is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting on so many levels. We won't be returning. read more

I just tried this place out on Friday. The atmosphere is pretty cool. The staff were super friendly and helped explain the menu. The reason for the three stars is because the menu is kind of crazy. It is way too complicated for an ice cream place. They offer four different bases for the cream of the ice cream. Then you pick a flavor to add to it. There are many. The other reason for the three stars is it is outrageously expensive. I paid $12 for a large ice cream with two toppings. I got the regular base ice cream with the chocolate flavor and I added in Oreos and chocolate sauce. It literally came to $12 and some odd cents. I guess the cool thing about this place is they use nitrogen and when they mix it you get to see some smoke. Personally not worth the extra money. Now yes the chocolate ice cream did taste good but Ben & Jerry's is definitely better. And cheaper. read more

I took my 10yr old and my 12 yr old to the Las Colinas location last week and we were not impressed at all. To have zero customers in your store, you would think they took extra care of us. No, not the case with this teen worker. He lacked customer service skills and did not seem like he wanted to be at work. The experience that you get at Creamistry should be exciting and different than other ice cream parlors. We get more excitement going to Braum's than this location! My SO and I go here all the time their ice cream is so good. They use liquid nitrogen (hence their name and logo) which makes the ice cream so smooth and tasty. The owner (or at least I think he's the owner) seems to always be there and I've yet to have a bad experience. read more

The last few times I've been here this place has been really dirty. Flies, garbage on the floor and ice cream splatters. It's 1:30 pm on a Sunday, the place is empty and yet the trash can outside is literally filled to the brim and there's a diaper on the floor. Of course, I'm not expecting them to be readily available to pick up a diaper, but if the trash can had been emptied, the diaper would have never made it to the floor in the first place, right? While the ice cream is amazingly good, they are ALWAYS out of their Cashew base. I can't have dairy and their coconut base has soy in it (for some odd reason). My husband and I go on nightly walks and passed this place on a daily basis. One day we decided to look up on yelp what I this was all about and we were so excited to learn about the ice cream sandwiches and cereal ice creams they serve here. They make the ice cream fresh before your eyes. Tastes so amazing I could come here every single day! Be careful eating it on a hot humid day because the cereal can become soggy as the ice cream melts but still tastes beyond amazing. Best ice cream ever! This is such an unfortunate situation with this location. When we first tried it long time ago, it was amazing. But recently, they have gone down hill and they are only picking up speed. Their service is terrible. The first thing they tell you when you walk up to the counter is that your wait time will be at least 30 minutes; I'm assuming this is to discourage people from ordering anything. If you still decide to go through with it, they give you a poor attitude and make it look like they're doing you a favor. Then, we were told that they're out of most things, no fruit except strawberries and bananas. When we tried to order a medium size, they told us that medium is not available, only large and regular (even though they list medium as an option on the board). Lastly, the dinning room is almost the same temperature as the outside, during summer in Texas. Seriously? You're an ice cream shop and you can't be bothered to cool your restaurant? Come-on! I really hope someone steps in and cleans up this mess of a business. Otherwise, it's not going to last. I know we're not coming back. The ice cream was good, but the cleanliness of the store was appalling. I was waiting for my order and looked behind the counter and was extremely grossed out. Came here for the first time to get some ice cream and was really excited to try it. I picked to build my own flavor and toppings. I got a regular size, cheesecake scoop with strawberries mixed in and almonds and fruity pebbles on top. Toppings are $1 each so be careful of how many toppings and what kind of toppings you want (they have a good selection). I did like that you get to pick if you want your topping mixed in or at the top. I thought that was cool. The ice cream was good but if I were to go back I'd probably pick one of the ice cream cups already on the menu. It is a nice cool place to hangout with friends and enjoy your dessert. read more

So it literally took an hour to get our ice cream. Our receipt showed we put our order in at 3:12 and we got ours at 4:15. They warned us when we put our order in it would be a 30 minute wait and we were fine with that, because we get it, it takes a while to make these because they freeze the cream etc. But AN HOUR? I was on the fence with 30 minutes I never would have ordered of I knew I'd be waiting that long. With that being said it was delicious!! Some of the creamiest ice cream ice ever had. Will I ever go back? No way. How can you expect people to wait that long for ice cream? I will say they employees were working the whole time.
