I order from here all the time while at work. Today I got the protein shake with kale, strawberries, blueberries, bananas and whey protein. Although it didn't look appetizing it was one of the best protein shakes I've ever had. I usually order the Central Park salad with the low fat raspberry vinaigrette dressing and it's probably one of my favorite salads which I always get cravings for. The 4 stars is because I love grilled chicken with salad but their grilled chicken in my opinion is horrible. Last time I ordered it with my salad I didn't even touch it. I now always order without the chicken. Their other location on ditmars has better chicken and they should probably replace it with that one. read more

I like this place but the service is so bad. The young girl at the front has no idea about the pricing or how to run a register. There's little communication between ordering and the register. I was charged extra for my bowl (prices are stated on the signage.) after I ordered and paid, upon picking it up when it was ready... and then she decided to add an additional dollar for another "extra" ingredient. It was her mistake for incorrectly charging me, after I already paid. She was also super rude to me and other customers during the checkout process. read more

Astoria needed a place like this- quick and relatively healthy takeout/delivery. So far I've only ordered the salads, but they are very fresh and generous with toppings. Really hits the spot on the days that you are craving something healthy, but too lazy to cook. Salads priced $7-8.75 I see that they have Wifi, but have not yet attempted to use it. Ordered delivery from Create & Go a few days ago and was REALLY satisfied! The Gramercy Park Sandwich is freaking awesome!!! The sort of sandwich you're wow-ing at every bite. Disco fries were good. I personally didn't love the Peter Luger burger nor the peanut butter banana shake, but I think that's just preference -- my boyfriend loved them. Would definitely order from here again! read more

I am very upset to be writing this, because I've been wanting to try this place forever since my roommates constantly get salads from here. I created my own salad to go and have about a 10 minute walk home. When I opened my salad it was completely soggy and drenched in dressing. I have been going to Create a lot more often than I expected. It recently opened in my neighborhood and I went in for a cup of coffee. I love this spot! I have go by at least once a week. I bring clients there for a lunch break when I am teaching and after a great massage I had yesterday, my friend and I went by to eat and chat! My boyfriend and I order from create at least once a week. The food is always inconsistent. I've gotten soggy salads, wrong orders and finally I ordered VEGETABLE chili and I got beef chili...how does that happen? I called to tell them and asked for them to bring the correct order and they told me I needed to give them back the beef chili in order for me to get the vegetable one. I had already thrown the container out and poured some of the soup into the container...she told me to put it back in and give it to the deliver man. So gross! I don't love searching for my garbage for a container with soup. I then offered to get another one and pay for it because my boyfriend would eat it, and she said okay...didn't even offer a discount after waiting an hour for food and for them sending the wrong order. I love their food, but their hours suck hard. It's never available when I want to eat- I don't eat dinner before seven, and on the weekends, it closes at five. Who eats dinner before five? I was very disappointed with my experience here. There were multiple signs stating that they had gluten free options, gluten free bread, etc. As I was watching the people behind the counter prepare the food I noticed continuous cross contamination (use of the spoons, hands touching everything, on the grill). The people working had no idea what cross contamination was nor were they sure of gluten free items that I might be safe eating. I finally decided on a quinoa bowl (salad was out with the wheat items using the same spoons) which was incredibly bland because the staff didn't know whether the sauce was gluten free or not. I will never eat here again for fear of getting sick unless they teach their employees about what it means to be gluten free and how sick someone can get due to cross contamination. My go to breakfast joint in Astoria and my also a favorite for a quick and healthy dinner. Just up the street from a couple of gyms its really in a good spot. They also have delicious coffee and smoothies with a plethora of ingredient options. I usually get one of their egg sandwiches which are always good but have also had the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich which was also good. Only thing I did not like here was their Fajitas. This is a gem in Astoria. Despite ALL of the wonderful and diverse eateries in the neighborhood, there aren't too many where I can enjoy a delicious guilt-free meal. The Quinoa bowls are EVERYTHING; filled with flavor and loads of goodness for your buck. They even have off-menu foods for when I visit with my toddler, just ask. The service has always been 100% in person, never too long a wait and the saff always courteous, one time I ordered delivery however, and the delivery guy annoyed me. I love their salads and I've ordered from them so much in the past, but for whatever reason they recently changed their delivery parameters, so I can't get delivery from them anymore despite being only 10 minutes away. I've never had this issue before now, so it's definitely a recent change. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very nice and apologetic about it. But management should really consider widening their delivery distance again because you're losing loyal customers over a short distance. read more

I come here often and I like the food. I just wish this place had better crowd control. Every day a big group of older men pack the whole front of the place--for hours if not all day. What's annoying about this is they take chairs from other tables and crowd around, leaving nearby tables useless. Their crowding is also annoying as sometimes they pull up seats right next to your table and invade your space. A few weeks ago one guy kept leaning back and his head was about six inches above my meal. Yesterday, one guy stood there chatting with his friends as his ass was practically in my food. I wish I could give this place zero stars. Horrible customer service. I ordered delivery through GrubHub and it took 2 hours for fruit and an omelette platter. I was back and forth on the phone with them trying to figure out where my food was. When it wasn't delivered after over an hour, the lady on the phone told me to check downstairs to see if the delivery person left it. Who does this?!?! I've ordered from them MANY times before, they know us, they ALWAYS buzz our apartment and come up the stairs. Just to be sure though, I checked downstairs and of course there was no food left. It was also my understanding that she would wait on the phone with me while I checked, and after I was halfway down the stairs she hung up. When I called back I, of course, had to wait on hold for five minutes. When I spoke to the woman and told her my food hadn't been delivered, she seemed perplexed and kept questioning me as if I were responsible. Finally, she agreed to remake it and resend it. I told her if it wasn't delivered in a half hour that I wanted a refund and she agreed to that-- especially because I only live a few blocks away from their establishment. When it wasn't delivered within a half hour, I tried to call back and got put on hold AGAIN. When I spoke to the woman again, she said it would be delivered in just a couple of minutes. I reiterated that I basically live around the corner and there was no excuse for it to take this long and if I didn't receive it in a couple of minutes I would call for a refund. She agreed to that. Couple of minutes pass, no food. I call back, I'm put on hold! Then, my food finally came! An hour and 45 minutes later. I hang up. But guess what? It was cold. And the bread was stale. I called back to report the quality and request the refund that was agreed to and she resisted. She told me I would have to wait for the delivery guy to return and pick up the food before I could receive a refund! It didn't matter to her that my morning schedule had been screwed up because of their mistake. I didn't have time at that point. I demanded a refund, she put me on the phone with the manager. The manager tried to deny me a refund. It wasn't until I was LITERALLY SCREAMING at him that he agreed to refund me via Grubhub. When I called Grubhub to confirm, the restaurant at that point hadn't initiated the refund. Thankfully, Grubhub customer service rocks. They initiated the refund and apologized on behalf of Create. Admittedly, I feel horrible that I screamed at them. I wish it hadn't reached that point. I work in a restaurant and I'm embarrassed that I became that customer that everyone hates, but I also was pushed to the edge after waiting patiently through pure incompetence and misdirected blame. Clearly there was miscommunication between the delivery guy and the phone staff. So, I don't know, admit you were wrong and fix it? Don't blame a loyal customer because now, you've lost her. read more

I enjoyed my two salads that have been ordered from here. The ingredients were fresh and the gentleman who prepared my salads was friendly and listened to any additional requests i had for my salads. I really don't have a whole lot more to add other than my experience with these salad purchases as I have not ordered other food from here yet. It was tasty and good. I was going elsewhere for salads but will consider coming here more often in lieu of my recent experience. One thing I will say is that this is a nice place for groups. You can come in here with 5-7 people and get a nice sized table to shoot-the-shit and grab some food. read more

I order from here all the time on Seamless, at work. They're the best! I usually get three or four fruit salads to get through the day. The fruit is always fresh and delicious, and I always get exactly what I have asked for. I have also had their regular salads, which are great! Love their wraps and breakfast sandwiches, as well. They pay attention to any special instructions you put on seamless like toasting and scooping out bagels. You can't go wrong with this place for healthy and delicious options. I ordered an acai bowl and basically received a smoothie in a bowl (with soggy granola).. they didn't even think to give me a straw.... My husband ordered a salad and asked for extra dressing on the side... he received a dry salad with no dressing AT ALL. We called back and we were told that they could send us another acai bowl but "it will probably be the same". We waited an hour to receive a container of dressing... This is by far the best place to go for a salad. Always fresh ingredients and the portions are huge. Good pricing as well.

Ok, first of all, the fact that some people are saying its too expensive was surprising to me-- I have paid SO much more for way less in a salad or burger elsewhere. Usually places always charge more for add ons like roasted peppers, sprouts, etc. But they don't here--- which I appreciate. The sweet potato fries are delicious.
