I had a fading problem with the job Creative Coatings did for me on my driveway/entryway 2.5 years ago. Marcus came out and looked at my driveway and told me that he definitely thought it was under warranty. I received a call from the office staff who arranged a date to do the job. They were great and pleasant to speak with. A two man crew came out and did an excellent job, they totally striped the old coating down to the cement surface (except for a small entryway) The crew said that it was very solid and hadn't been exposed to the sun as much as the driveway portion. Creative Coatings was hired by my builder to provide drainage and coat our walk out decks. Water doesn't completely drain and leaves pools of water near the drain. When the covers are on the drains it's even worse so I had to remove them. My builder had Creative Coatings come out to evaluate the situation and they said that the deck was in tolerance and that the water should go away in the Vegas heat within 24 hours. I said, "So what happens when it rains or if I wash my deck with water and the dirt puddles up?" His response was, "It doesn't rain in Vegas. Use a push broom." They also left globs of deck finish all over instead of flattening it out. I would steer clear of this company. read more

We needed a long upstairs balcony waterproofed and recoated. Marcos came out timely gave us a competitive quote and scheduled the project. When he removed old coating we could see the deck needed to be rebuilt in sections first. We struggled to find a General to rebuild the deck so Marcos recommended an amazing General Contractor to do the reframing. They communicated well with each other and the did an excellent job. They showed up everyday on time and worked until the job was completed. They were professional, clean and communicated with us every step of the way. As a homeowner of more than 20 years in Las Vegas we have employed many contractors for a variety of services. Creative Coatings were one of the best we have ever used. Marty, Marcos, and Sergio were all very easy to work with. They were very professional, performed excellent work, were reasonable in their pricing, and very accommodating to our changes. They did a new coating for our pool deck and it turned out exceeding our expectations. I would not say that we are the easiest people to please - but each time they were more than accommodating and very patient with us despite our (over?) attention to detail. If something was wrong, they made it right. The project turned out very well and for considerably less when compared to other estimates. Their quality of materials and finish was excellent and the deck looks great. They went above and beyond in correcting some minor problem and did not charge us extra despite them using much more material then they had planned. We had New Crete replace our old and battered cool deck around the pool area. They were professional, attentive, engaged and kept a clean work area. The job was done with the materials I requested and it was done well and in a reasonable amount of time. The job site was kept clean through the arduous process of removing the old and preparing the concrete to take the new. Then my wife, The Boss, saw the color and hated it. Our home is in the "brown" family and the deck turned pinkish when it dried. It looked terrible. We had picked the color so the problem was between us and the manufacturer. We ultimately selected a different color and asked New Crete to re-do the deck. They came out, charged us cost for the material, and only charged us labor for the rework. A very nice and reputable group of people who did an excellent job for us. This review is long over due and I apologize to New Crete for not getting this out sooner. I can't begin to say how pleased I am with the flooring job New Crete did. In fact - they did a superb job beyond all my expectations! If you are looking for million dollar floors without that kind of price tag you're in the right place. The upkeep is virtually nothing. I use a DEEBOT vacuum robot every other day and clean with a mop and hot bucket of water once a week. You don't have to worry about grout issues or water leaking through wood planks or any liquids thereof that would ultimately penetrate the concrete. With these beautiful epoxy floors harden with polyurethane nothing can penetrate these floors. I can't tell you how many friends and family members are amazed at how beautiful these floors are. The Job that Marcos, Shawn, Marty (the owner) and New Crete crew did I hope has driven a lot of business their way because I show these floors off to everyone. Please see the pictures I posted. I had my floor done recently. Floor is fine. My problem was one of the workers had unplugged my irrigation system that was closest to the garage door so he could plug in his ShopVac. He never plugged my irrigation back in. I have dead landscaping. I never noticed it was unplugged until I noticed my stuff was dying. The superintendent tried blaming it on whoever helped me move my stuff out of my garage. Tried passing the blame on me, when it was their employee who killed my landscaping. We hired creative coatings to do a stamped overlay on our existing patio. I cannot speak more highly of the team including Marcos, Glen, and the entire crew! They were meticulous and incredibly patient with me when I had a last minute change to the color. Typically, I hate remodel projects and dealing with contractors. Creative coatings/Newcrete made me so happy. They were professional, attentive, courteous, clean and quick! They did amazing work and (aside from the construction noise and amazing end product), I never knew they were there! New Crete just finished a fairly large job in our backyard. They removed about 700 s.f. of tile and ground down all of our 25 y/o cool decking to then rehab, reconstruct in areas and replace the tile with stamped over lay concrete and redo all the cool deck as well as add more to a specific area of our yard. There were a few diy jobs performed in our backyard by previous owners that were far from being done correctly. With the help of Glen, our salesman & Mike Waddus, Resurfacing of NV, New Crete's 'go to' concrete guy, we were able to inexpensively correct a 25 y/o trip hazard and a big drainage issue while also beautifying and updating our pool area's surrounding hard surfaces. I was surprised by how many phases there were to getting the job done! New Crete also worked well with the other contractors we had in our yard as we were also rehabbing our pool, too. NC came in, demoed their portion of the job and then had to wait over a month to complete their process. Everything went off without a hitch and we are completely satisfied with the work. My reply to the owners response: I am looking at my proposal sheet listing the intended service along with your pricing. The alkali was addressed as being treated with the same preparation as with the floor filled in with a Dryconcrete which is listed specifically for the alkali. Nothing was stated in my proposal that this area containing alkali could present a problem and excluded from your workmanship. Now after the fact, you are telling me to look at the reverse side of this proposal which reflects a complete page of small writing listing all the important information, disclaimer and concrete failure. In my opinion, this information should have been brought out as valuable information for a customer, especially us seniors, along with the quote, before money was accepted? If I were told that there could be a possible problem, I would NOT have had you extend the epoxy over the expansion joint. Given the proper information, that should have been a choice for me to make. Needles to say, we agree to disagree. I still feel slighted and unhappy. Thankfully my handyman was able to correct the problem six months ago and it still looks beautiful. As a "Garage Floor Specialist," I expected more from you. In all fairness, I'm only asking that you reimburse me for the expense I paid to my handyman to correct the problem. Since you refuse to do so, my only intention is to give a heads up to others. Especially to us seniors, to read everything line by line which quietly appears on the reverse side of your quote-proposal. We were so impressed with the professionalism and quality of work provided by New Crete. We live in a retirement community and when we need work done on our home we spend countless hours researching businesses to complete the job. Our first contact with New Crete was with Cheri. From the beginning, she was professional, caring, and reliable. When Cheri said she would follow up with us, we could depend on her to do so. Glen, the Sales Manager, was extremely helpful. We were undecided about the product we needed to select for our driveway, all sidewalks, and our patio. Glen discussed with us the pros and cons of each of the products offered by New Crete. He gave us a cost estimate on the product we selected. He was very knowledgeable about the warranty, installation, and strength of the product. I reached out to Creative Coatings in a panic as we had just experienced a different concrete contractor make a total mess of our home with metallic epoxy. We were unable to move into our house as scheduled, and ended up having to live in our RV until we could get the floors fixed. I called Creative Coating at 4pm on the Friday afternoon before Memorial Day weekend, in tears, and the staff jumped right in to help us. By Tuesday, Shawn was out to assess the damage and gave us a proposal to fix the disaster. I used this company at my old house and the job was so good it still looked great when I sold the house 10 years later. I purchased a home in the Lakes and decided to do my garage floor with the Epoxy finish like my other house. The floor had a gray epoxy coating that was so bad it was popping up and had scratches from driving on it. The person who owned the house did the floor to make it look good to sell but the job was terrible and they used cheap products. Ten months later I had to redo the entire floor. I called New Crete and spoke to Glen (same person I worked with at my old house) and we set up an appointment for the crew to do my garage floor. They had to sand the entire floor to remove the old coating and than patched all the little holes first so the floor would be perfect. The finished product and the attention to detail was amazing. The floor is beautiful and I know it will last for years and years. I have never scene a crew work as hard as they do and the attention to detail was amazing.
