I had a vision for a wall with two arches--one that led into the dressing rooms (which were additional walls that they also installed) and another that led into a back office space and they executed it perfectly in a very short amount of time. Their team also painted the entire exterior of my store and was also happy to help with other small projects like installing a few light fixtures, mounting multiple full size mirrors, and building a custom rack for me in my back room which was extremely helpful. They also recommended an amazing floor specialist who was able to remove the paint and reseal the beautiful original cement, so their knowledge of trusted vendors is also amazing and crucial to making your entire vision come to life.  Their communication is the absolute best and all of the people they work with are beyond capable of making your vision come to life. Assaf and Ron were great, and so were all their subcontractors. They are extremely experienced and had no issues completing the work and passing each inspection the first try. We went through another service to get permits, and unfortunately it was missing an entire page. Assaf and Ron worked directly with the engineer to get the page drafted, submitted to Burbank, and magically had it approved within 2 weeks, with no disruption at all to progressing the work. They completed the work within their estimated time. They also cleaned up every day. We were both able to continue working from home through the entire process. Pricing was very reasonable for the work that was done. We got about 8 quotes and theirs came right in the middle. They gave a detailed quote and there were no surprises with the payments later. Their greatest and most appreciated skill is communication. They always picked up the phone or texted/called you back within minutes. This was our first major construction project and they answered all our million questions and had the relationships with the vendors to modify items to what we were hoping for. A couple of months ago, we hired FHS Construction to repair storm damage to our home, and the…read moreexperience could not have gone better. After the Eaton Fire, heavy winds and rain had blown away and damaged shingles on our roof. Water began leaking into one of our bedrooms and left water spots on the dining room ceiling. What could have been a nightmare repair project turned into a smooth and reassuring process thanks to the team at FHS Construction. From the start, the crew was thorough in their inspection and diagnosis. They quickly identified the source of the leak and checked for hidden damage in the roof and ceilings. To prevent more water from coming in, they put up a temporary cover right away until the full repair could begin. The roof repair itself was handled professionally from top to bottom. Damaged shingles and underlayment were removed and replaced, everything was thoroughly inspected and sealed tightly to prevent future problems. Inside the bedroom, they removed water-damaged drywall and insulation, treated and cleaned areas affected by moisture and mold, and ensured the space was completely dried out before restoring it. When the remediation was complete, they patched everything up with new drywall, fresh paint, trim work and new carpet so the room looked as good as new. The same attention was given to the dining area ceiling where water spots had formed. The crew was consistently punctual--showing up on time every morning--and respectful of our home. I loved his attitude- he came in so full of joy, and never lost that joy throughout the project. You can tell he loves what he does. He was the only contractor who seemed to really hear me when I said what I had hoped for, and then he pitched his own ideas along those lines. We took almost all his ideas- which were really innovative and interesting. He followed up with me a couple days after the estimate (the only contractor to do so), and I figured if he was that interested in the job, his company would definitely do it well- I was right. A lot of the other contractors we interviewed made us feel like the job was too small for them, but we never felt that way with Avi and his crew. He always answered our calls or texts- which is actually pretty rare in this business. He was very responsive- never shirking responsibility- and definitely willing to fix any problems that came up during the whole process. That being said, there were a few problems. The project ended up taking about 2 weeks longer than originally estimated, and also cost quite a bit more. Some of that was just the nature of upgrading an 85 year old house (we had cloth wiring that needed to be entirely ripped out and replaced, and that process probably delayed our "simple" remodel by about 1 week.) Unfortunately, we also had some issues with the custom cabinets not being the right size, but Avi got the cabinet company to come back and make the fixes. The window sills were supposed to be made of the backsplash granite, but there was an issue with the measurements for that too, and we ended up with wooden sills instead. They still look great. This was my first experience with remodeling, and after talking to several friends who have had much worse experiences, it seems my issues were rather minor and not out of the ordinary. The most important thing is that Avi responded to and corrected all of the issues in a timely manner. In the end, all that really matters is the finished product. And the finished kitchen is truly beautiful! Avi's team, Luis and his son, were outstanding. You could tell they take a lot of pride in what they do, and they never half-assed any part of the remodel- the floor, the replacement dry wall, the trim, the window sills, the painting- it was all done with a lot of care and pride in making it right! The whole kitchen is gorgeous now, and I am extremely happy with it. I would definitely hire Avi & the Finesse team again!! GREAT JOB!

So first off, I live in a condo in Culver City (West LA), and so I have a pretty strict HOA that requires vetting and approval of contractors. We had no issues at all going with LIV Construction. Two full bathrooms were stripped down to the studs and completely rebuilt. Mr. Ran was with me all the way from design and planning all the way through city inpsections at the end. I'm so happy with how things turned out! Here's my quality ratings for the work done (on a scale from 1-5): Tub, Bath Tiles: 4.8 Floor tiles: 4.8 Glass Shower install (incl. hotmop), frameless with pony wall: 4.8 Toilets, Vanity install, accessories: 4.8 Touchups, trim, paint: 4.8 Overall look/craftsmanship: 4.8 Contractor Responsiveness and accommodating: 4.7 Electrical/Water: 4.8 Permits and Inspections: 4.8 Value for money: 4.75 I don't have any issues or complaints with the work that was done. (No issues with leaks, misalignments, botched measurements, quality of work, etc). As far as pricing goes, I'd say LIV Construction was fair for the current market. Out of three quotes that I got, they came in the cheapest. (The second highest was Home Depot...) I'm already underway with my next home improvement project with LIV Contruction.
