We met Avi and Igal at the Pasadena home show. While their bid was not the lowest, we felt he was more trustworthy in how he bid. With all the delays from Covid, our start date was pushed back four months. Avi held his initial bid for our ADU addition, even with the delays. Everything took longer than expected, but we understood the reasons. The team Avi brought in were all very skilled. While the timing suffered from the Covid delays, the quality of the work did not. We recently wrapped up the work on our house. After a final inspection and approval, we have started enjoying our new space. While the path was winding, we are glad we took it and the Avi helped see it through. read more

The year of remodeling my house was nothing but pain. I expected that the remodeling of the hose was not easy and mostly go longer and go over the budget. About the 1/3 way of our house remodeling seemed going well. However, as the job got longer due to some additional works and changes need to be made, I started to realize that Avi doesn't pay attention to the details nor can't organize well at all. Then he stopped pushing the job going forwards strangely. I began to talk to his individual workers, and his vendors, they all said contradictory what he said to us. One example in the bathroom, the plumbing work in the bathrooms came all wrong. He knew the vanity sat in my garage for a whole month or longer before the plumbing work, and I sent him the spec ahead of the time. He never opened the vanity nor looked at the spec. The worse is that he always blamed me. There were more similar stories, such as our new windows, I was concerned and warned that having the opening on the bottom facing steep hillside is not right and dangerous. He didn't care much about until the last minutes. We couldn't pass the inspection so a long time due to this problem. And much more. Our house becomes secondary to the other job he took. The job supposed to complete in 6 months went over beyond one year. Avi's attitude is not professional at all.  I lost trust with him after many cover up on delay after delay. You cannot trust someone pretends or act like a "friend."  Plus, who wants to work with someone who continually tries to flirt with you?  There are so many other remodeling companies that handle jobs in a straight forward manner,  without struggling to ask what you want. No need #metoo while you want to remodel your house. read more

My bathroom remodel project Igal and his crew are the spectacular. They took a very ugly and old half-bathroom with fixtures from the 1970s and transformed it into a new and beautiful full shower with bath, not to mention beautiful tile work. At first we could not believe it was the same room. I did not know how to exactly make it, but Igal helped me think and design all the way through. I found is taste to be really good.. We just finished our kitchen remodel two days ago and I cannot say enough good things about Avi and his workers. Avi is a total pleasure to deal with: he spent time with us as we determined what we needed/wanted; gave us a fair estimate and timetable; stayed in close communication throughout the project; and finished ahead of schedule and on budget. It doesn't get any better than that. But it does! Avi is also a lovely person with whom to work -- very even-tempered and calm, bringing integrity to his work, and always willing to look for a beautiful solution. Additionally, those who work with Avi are attentive and helpful. We had a problem fitting the insta-hot water dispenser under the sink, because we'd also gotten a large garbage disposal. With good humor and great ideas, we worked with the plumber to make it fit well. We also wanted under-counter lighting and I knew my husband would want a dimmer, even though that is an unusual request. No problem! It is done and we love it. I want to mention that while the remodel was in progress my husband became hospitalized, adding a great deal of stress to my life. Coincidentally, Avi was dealing with a loved one being hospitalized at the same time. Still he was able to keep our project going; to deal compassionately with my situation; and employ thoughtful, positive workers -- all while enduring personal difficulties of his own. We are thrilled with the kitchen and we had an exceptional experience (having had other remodeling projects that turned into nightmares!). Our family completed A Room Addition project. IM Home Remodel did a fantastic job. The 3D design showed all the details for the addition which made everything a lot easier with no delays. So recently, I had a leak in the bathroom that was remodeled. I thought the water was coming from behind the wall, so I panicked and texted Avi right away. He responded within 24 hours (because I texted him on a Saturday), and he sent someone to my house by Tuesday. It turned out to be a minor problem with the faucet, and his plumber, Herminio, fixed it quickly and confidently. Recently our family completed a pretty extensive remodel in our house working with IM Home Remodel, Inc. It was a complete kitchen remodel involving the removal of couple walls, new custom-made cabinet, caeser stone countertop, porcelain tile, flooring, interior and exterior paint. I just Finished a kitchen remodeling project with Igal and his team and the experience could not have been smoother. My family and I recently moved into a new house that needed some major updating. After meeting with five other contractors, we knew we had found our match as soon as we met Igal and his father Abi. I liked the fact that it was a family owned business. From the very start they were inspired, reliable, knowledgeable, honest and fair. Igal's team was fantastic, the quality of workmanship was very impressive and there were some great suggested modifications by the team that really made a difference in the final outcome. We were provided daily scheduling updates and timeline was honored. Every person involved in our remodel project (master bed and bath and guest bath) was very good at their specialty and all had such a great attitude and personality which makes this disruptive activity much easier to go through. I hired IM home to renovate our master bathroom and they did an amazing job. Igal was great at his job and made the experience of remodeling the bathroom into something I looked forward too. Out of my many experiences with contractors this was the only time I felt I was not being sold on something. We came up with a design and plan together and then got to work. He was onsite plenty of times and communicated about everything to me, which I found extremely helpful.
