I was referred to Tony through our electrician and I have never been more happy working with a plumbing company. Tony was amazing. We had an emergency situation with our water heater at our home. This man, Tony, saved my life. My septic tank motors stopped working, and I called another company. They came out and quoted me $3800, with a downpayment of $1200 required before they would even look at my problem. After they looked at it, he spent 3 hours digging and diagnosing, and then quoted me $22,000! He claimed each motor cost $4k. I called the company for a clogged sink. Once the technician came, he was polite and quickly assessed the situation and gave me a reasonable quote. After toiling for awhile he realized the issue was far worse than he originally thought so he explained what needed to be done and even though his pricing for the new work was still reasonable I told him it was okay because we were going to Reno everything next week so might as well just wait. However, what was a pleasant surprise was that he refused payment because he hadn't repaired the sink. I was very grateful because most companies would still charge you for the time spent but that fact he didn't left me with very good impression of the man's integrity and it spoke highly of the company's integrity as well. I had a terrible clog in my bathroom sink even though we keep a screen religiously over the drain. We called "My Drain Company" to inquire about getting their help, as I wanted an outside opinion so we didn't get stuck with a bill or blame on our side from our landlord. They were so incredibly kind and also prompt! They managed to get Tony out to me in under an hour! When he arrived, he was very friendly and professional. He came and took a quick look and then went and got his tools. He snaked the drain and informed me that the issue actually wasn't from our apartment at all but further into the building so there wasn't anything he could do. He was kind enough to give a video testimony as well so if our building's plumber tries to make it our responsibility so the landlord doesn't have to foot the bill (as has been done in the past), we have Tony's declaration to prove otherwise. Someone in his position could have easily denied that request and also tried to scam or make money off of me by claiming an issue existed that did, but instead, Tony was honest and forthright and I really appreciated that!!! In addition, overall, he was just great; he cleaned the space after he was done, he provided no-charge since they weren't actually able to accomplish anything, which I thought was incredibly fair. Really impressed with My Drain Company! We had an issue with the gas line connection between our old house gas shutoff valve and our new gas range. We were able to schedule same-day service, they arrived exactly within the time window they said they would with advance notice, diagnosed the problem, quickly repaired it with parts from their truck, confirmed our appliance worked correctly, and then leak-checked the connection for safety. This week I thought we had a simple pipe blockage. I wanted to leave a review for Tony and his company. Tony and I chatted on the phone last night because I've been having some issues with a stinky shower. I thought maybe I could use the drain cleaning services. He offered a time window that worked for me and he was punctual when he arrived. He did some investigating, listened to all our concerns, checked our pipes including underneath the house and checked the vent on the side of the house. In the end said our drains were clear and it was likely a bigger issue with the shower pan underneath the tile. That unfortunately would likely require construction of the bathroom and he didn't do that. I asked if we could still clean the drains if that would help and he advised it would probably be a waste of money for us since everything was clear. I thought he was so honest about the whole thing. He did this whole inspection free of charge even after I insisted to pay him for his time. Contracted jobs and experience with company: This is my number one go-to company for all plumbing related issues, and used this company over 10 times in my family (multiple residences). I have had Tony and his crew work on issues in my own home from simple to complex - from kitchen faucet installs, pin hole leak repair in difficult to access copper pipes, water heater replacement and new expansion tank, water pressure regulator replacements, and replacing a complicated commercial grade sewer ejector system. I've also had My Drain Co perform work on my parent's house because they are the company I trust. There, My Drain Company performed extensive new copper pipes in the crawl space with multiple easy to use and accessible valves (helpful for ease of use), and replacing the main sewer line underground. Customer service and communication: Tony has diligently provided estimates, followed up with research on multiple equipment and job options, Q&A, and communicated well and showed up to all appointments on time (more than 12 appointments). He is knowledgeable, and provides practical advice that's in the best interest of the home owner - rather than upselling the costliest or most intensive solutions. Extremely professional, yet personable demeanor with a problem solving attitude makes Tony a pleasure to deal with even when you have a plumbing emergency, which helps a stressful situation. Price, quality, and execution: Prices are competitive and definitely worth it each time in my book, because the quality of the work was great as was the customer service, as described above. Execution has been professional, on-time for the quoted duration of the job, and on-budget. In addition, the crew cleans up the job site afterwards. These are important to me, as disruptions to the household water supply are never easy and require coordination. My Drain Co has never surprised me on any of this in the numerous jobs we have contracted with them for, and accommodated the needs of me and my family. Follow-up post execution: I've never had a contractor proactively check in after a job to see how things were working later - Tony has. He and his company have also provided follow up check ins with visits on his warrantied work when I had questions, following his word every time.
